The college is good for the studies as well as the extracurriculars.
Placements: The average placement package is nearly 5-6 LPA, and the placement rate is only 65-70%, and most of it is also in branches other than IT, and the ones who get placed are doing job roles like sales, support team, etc. The main hiring companies that come to this college for its roles are few and also have very few posts available in it.
Infrastructure: The college building is pretty big and vast, and it has a number of entrances with dedicated parking slots. Most of the departments have got lifts in them, which makes it easiest. Moreover, the cultural events and day-to-day events make the college more fun. There are various extracurricular events like gaming, hackathons, etc. that are being organized nearly every week.
Faculty: The faculty is nice and knowledgeable. They provide equal attention towards students, but at the end it only depends on the students about the studies, and moreover, the exam and syllabus pattern is reasonable. The only thing this college is not good at is the event organization.
Other: I took MCA at the college due to its reputation and placement records. Moreover, the extracurriculars in this college are at their best and lead to great character development.

Our college is well known for its placements.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Deloitte, Wipro, and TCS are top recruiting companies. Software developer, web developer, and full-stack developer are the roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: There are 11 blocks in our college, including a B.Tech. block, an engineering block, a pharmacy block, etc. It has a food court that provides various food items. There is a separate canteen in each block. Kalpana Hostel is available for girls. Sadbhavna Hostel is available for boys. Bus facilities are available for day scholars. There is a big auditorium. There is a separate library in each block.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and motivating. They are very good in their respective fields. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but the valuation is quite lenient. The pass percentage is 65%. We are often given lectures in the seminar hall about industries.
Other: I chose this course to get a placement. I wish they would focus on practical work rather than the theoretical part. There are various events like Parivartan, freshers' party, Star Night, etc.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Many students get internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. The hostel fee is expensive. The hostel has pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the food is good. There is a laundry facility and study room available.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are difficult because papers are on the PTU side, so you have to be well-prepared for exams. If you study hard, you will pass semester exams easily.
Other: In terms of MCA, this college is excellent.

The college is affordable for all the students.
Placements: CGC has successfully included world-class amenities and a healthy learning environment. 757 companies came for placements. 36 LPA is the highest package offered so far. The average package offered is 5-6 LPA. Top companies are Infosys, Google, Wipro, TCS and many others. There is a different department named TPP, which helps you get placed.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. The campus and classrooms in CGC are equipped with the latest facilities. There are 3-4 hostels, canteens including Subway, CCD, Nescafe, samosa express and many other food items.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and always ready to educate you anytime. The teachers are familiar with all the latest technologies which are in the market as well. There are 8 lecturers in my course, and they all are very helpful. Our HOD has a PhD degree and is always ready to help students anytime. Even sometimes, I have called him late-night, like 10 pm, for some study requirements, and he never ignored my calls.
Other: I chose MCA because of the demand of the IT field. As this college is situated in Chandigarh Vilincity, there are a lot of IT companies which are offering internships to freshers. There are a lot of events, activities, and fests held in college. The main fest of our college is an annual fest known as Parivartan (change) where some big stars and celebrities come and perform. Every festival is celebrated in CGC as a family. Other activities like sports week and activity week are organised in college. Every student in CGC is a family and known as CGCian.

It is a dream college, and our dreams come true.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 8 LPA. Amazon, Hitachi, etc., companies came here. 100% of students got internships. I have done my internship in Seasia. Coding roles are offered. They focus on Android activities more, and the students take an interest in coding, design and testing. It is easy to understand, and the students learn it too quickly.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. Students are very satisfied with the college facilities. The warden is friendly. Medical facilities are on the top level. Some dispensaries are located at different sides in our college. Sports activities are conducted by the college from time to time.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and motivate students from time to time. My favourite teacher encourages each student every time. I studied from lots of teachers during my course, but coordination with each teacher of this college is good.
Other: A parking space must be provided. Overall, this college is the best.

Really good college for MCA.
Placements: Top roles offered in my course are like Computer Anlayst, Web developer, Software developer, Web designer, Software Engineer, IT worker and many more. Top companies that are offering good salary packages are like Jaro education, wipro, IBM, TCS, TCI, Byju's.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure is good along with proper facility of wi-fi, Classrooms, security, labs and library. Sports and many games facilities are also given to the students whenever needed by them. Quality of food in college canteen is normal.
Faculty: All the faculty members are quite intelligent and knowledgeable professors. They all use to train and motivate the students regularly. The course curriculum is relevant one as it provides job offer in IT department which is required in every field now a days.
Other: Campus surroundings are good.

I'm totally satisfied with faculty and very good placement in 2017, I like the infrastructure.
Placements: I am happy and satisfied with the company approach in our college. The placements were nice, and it depends on the student's performance. The maximum salary given to my batch is 26.96 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is quite high. More than 90% students got placed every year.
Infrastructure: There is a great infrastructure with a large campus which cover the area of 30 acres, with proper accommodation, mess, sports and gym facilities. The lecture room is good, and scope of learning is high. It is a lush green campus, and there is freshness everywhere. It is a clean campus with air-conditioned classrooms. The hostel is good with three sharing system. Four sharing room is also available.
Faculty: The college has highly qualified faculty members. The course is basically based on learning from case studies. The subject is mainly taught concerning the real-life cases. The faculty members are helpful, and the student is free to get mentoring from any of the faculty around. The examination pattern is a bit tough. End semester examination is always scheduled without any gap between each exam.
Other: There is a good environment, but your efforts are the key. There is a diversified crowd of different cultures. There are well-managed clubs for each department, that is, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, IT and cultural. There are around ten clubs in total to enhance management skills among the students. The life is good on the campus followed by the disciplined life around.

Other: It is the best engineering college is Kerala after NIT I would say. New buildings are growing day by day for specialized environment. Placements are competitive. Some professors are even masters in their subject and can even memorize a whole 1000 page textbook questions. Freedom for students is a perfect highlight. No one forces you for anything. The students are sharp-ended in terms of academics as well as co-curricular activities. The vast campus makes everything so enjoyable. We even have a Science Park and a high profiled university library. The fee is much affordable as compared to self-financed colleges in the state. I was Computer Science engineering student and I myself rate the college 4.8/5.
