Good infrastructure, supportive faculty and decent placements.
Placements: Our batch of Mechanical Engineering had 75% placements. The highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3.2 LPA, and average was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters were Tata, L&T, Maruti, and Mahindra. 60% got internships at Tata, Adani, and ONGC. Roles were Design, Production, Quality, and R&D. Good sometimes.
Infrastructure: Our department has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, modern labs, a CAD/CAM center & library. Hostel has clean rooms, Wi-Fi, a good mess & canteen, medical aid, and sports facilities like gym, cricket, football, badminton, ensuring overall student support. It's great.
Faculty: Faculty are well-qualified, supportive & knowledgeable with good teaching quality. Curriculum is industry-relevant with practical exposure & projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on concepts. Pass percentage is around 85-90%. It's great.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering for its core importance in industry. Best part was hands-on labs, projects & campus fests. Wish to see more industry tie-ups & internships. Campus has a lively crowd, good connectivity, scholarships & extracurricular activities.

Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Capgemini. About 70% of students got internships at Deloitte, Cognizant, and HCL with roles like software engineer, developer, and analyst.

Hostel has basic facilities like clean rooms, drinking water, and 24X7 security. The food quality in the mess is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers decent snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus. There are sports grounds for cricket, football, and indoor games for students.

There are scholarships like MYSY for eligible students and several extracurricular activities such as hackathons, coding competitions, and sports events, that make college life engaging.
