Placements are an average of 25. They bring bad companies and you might fail the worst exams.

Placements: About 40 percent got placed. The placements are bad. Sometimes they bought fraudulent companies which some students like me fell for. The highest package is about 23 LPA I guess. The lowest is very low. You can think it is lower than what you get working as a data entry guy.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, smart TV, library, chalkboard, and projector. The food is very good in the canteen. Sports are fine. The ground was not too big. At the hostel I didn't stay. I don't recommend it because even 4 sharing costs like 1.5 Lacs. It's worse to stay with that many people.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and adapted to this new world. The course was somewhat relevant. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. As it goes on the semesters become tougher. There is nothing like a pass percentage. You have to score more than 28 I guess out of 100.

Other: I chose this course because of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. As I was interested in this field, I played with data. Working on projects is one thing they must do. The campus was too boring. There are mid people everywhere.

Really good college in terms of faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements are quite decent compared to many other good colleges in Bangalore. Special classes called TYL (Tie Your Places) are held regularly to train students for placement sessions. College is attracting better and better companies every year. Around 85% students get placed every year. ROI is pretty decent for CMRIT.

Infrastructure: Hostels are really good. Well-equipped with modern-day facilities, the college campus is a little compact but still has excellent faculty with wonderful experience. The ambience of the college is superb. The crowd is of all kinds. Attendance is an issue, but that's with most of the colleges, so can't help it.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is as needed. The course curriculum is relevant, which makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult, just like VTU papers. The pass percentage is above 95.

I am absolutely satisfied with the course. The college is really good.

Placements: 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 44 LPA. The average package is 19 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys and JP Morgan Chase & Co. 40% of students got internships. Students are satisfied with the company in which they are placed. Roles like data analyst, AI engineer, and cloud engineer are offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities are above average. In labs, we will feel like real working experience. It has digital computers. The library has a digital service where we can fetch a lot of books, which is helpful for studies. The quality of food in the hostel is average.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and highly experienced. They all are PhD holders. They deliver a quality education, which helps with doing projects and everything. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult and we can pass easily. 80% of students pass exams.

Other: I chose this course because AI is booming in this world, and the future scope of this subject makes me opt this field. More AI tools should be introduced so that everyone can feel accessible. Events organsied are helpful and fun.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement of this branch is going on for now, as it is a new branch implemented in 2021. The highest package offered last year was by a Japanese company of 43 LPA. The average package was 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are PhonePe, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. College does not provide internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing, well utilised, and well maintained. There's an auditorium with a capacity of 600 students. There are two basketball courts, a volleyball court, and a football ground. The parking area is very large and sufficient. Library and labs are well maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and approachable. CMRIT is autonomous under VTU. They follow the VTU curriculum. 1st and 2nd semester exams seem to be easy and 3rd & 5th semester exams are considered tough. Faculty members are helpful and their quality of teaching is understandable.

About my CMRIT experience .

Placements: In my AIDS department, nearly 40% of students got placed until now with an average package of 7 LPA and the highest package of 11 LPA. Top recruiters for our branch are Epsilon, Infosys, Oracle, Sagility, and MSG Global. Usually it's very hard to get an internship from college; however, you can easily apply offline.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are of good size, having 70-80 students in each class. Smart television is installed in every class, which is used by teachers to explain via PPT. Hostels provide Wi-Fi facilities, hot water, cleaning facilities, etc. However, you have to maintain your own plate to eat and wash it by yourself.

Faculty: Teachers are usually well qualified, from M.Tech to Ph.D. holders. There will be three internal assessments and one external exam, which will be conducted by VTU. It's easy to pass internal assessment because hardly anyone fails anyone in internals, but external exams will be conducted by VTU, which is strict, and you need 33 out of 100 to pass it.

Other: The college is in the main urban Bengaluru region, so we get access to many talk shows and hackathons organized by different companies. Also, due to its location, you can easily be able to do any offline internship.

CMRIT: My experience at CMRIT as a first year AI and DS engineering student.

Placements: The placements at CMRIT are very good compared to other good colleges in Bangalore. The highest package last year at CMRIT was 27 LPA. And the average package is around 10 LPA. I have integrated with many of my seniors, and they told me that the faculty of CMRIT takes good care of placements for students. There is a separate placements cell dedicated to placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CMRIT is pretty decent, with many facilities available for students, such as a huge playground, library, multiple labs, hostel facilities, canteen facilities, etc. The classrooms here are spacious and bright with projectors in each classroom.

Faculty: Faculty here at CMRIT are very friendly and interactive. They take care of students by making them understand subjects and improve both theoretical and practical knowledge. The curriculum is not stressful. There are two internal exams per semester, and this college is affiliated with the VTU curriculum.

Other: I have joined this college through the KCET examination. The fee here starts from 1 lac per year. This college is located at the prime location, which is in the main city, Bengaluru.

All you need to know about CMR Institute of Technology (Student’s Perspective)

Placements: The branch of AI & DS (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) is a new branch of engineering. That was introduced at CMRIT in 2021. I enrolled in this branch in 2022. I choose this course mainly for one reason: to keep up with this new era and embrace the obvious growth of AI in our lives. Being a fairly new branch, there are a lot of spontaneous changes and improvements in the curriculum as new developments occur in this field of study. CMRIT has various tie-ups with companies for placements, including companies from Japan (Zenken), which is a key attraction for many students and parents. The highest packages go up to 25 LPA, with the lowest being 3 LPA. CMRIT encourages students to start doing their internships as early as possible. Students start trying for internships in their 2nd year itself, which teaches them more about the work-related field they will enter when they get placed. We have companies like Infosys coming in, giving talks, and encouraging students to use their online platform for various opportunities.

Infrastructure: CMRIT always provides its students with the latest and up-to-date facilities. Whether it is the Physics and Chemistry labs with their sterilized and new apparatus or the computer labs with all the software required for students. They are given all facilities they need. The CMRIT library can be said to be the students' best friend in their college life and the heart of the college. The disciplined and quiet environment helps students focus and learn with the most efficiency. The library personnel help students who want to find books related to their field and suggest the best options. You can not only find great reference books but also previous year project reports and papers, which are quite useful for students. Access to various digital resources enhances the learning experience. I personally did not stayed in the hostel, so I cannot speak about that part of the college.

Faculty: Teachers of CMRIT are extremely helpful. They are approachable and encouraging. They are always ready to solve our queries and help in any way they can. Not only that, but they are highly knowledgeable, and most of the faculty members hold advanced degrees and significant experience in their respective fields. They are willing to assist students with academic and career guidance. AI & DS is definitely a very relevant course, especially in this generation of Artificial Intelligence. We are one of the newest branches keeping pace with growing technologies. Companies and industries want employees with knowledge of AI, and we, as students of this branch, are very well equipped for this. CMRIT follows the VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) curriculum. We write our semester-end exams every six months. The exams are moderately challenging and designed to test students' understanding of subjects thoroughly. We also have regular internal assessments. Three internal assessments every semester before the semester finals. So that students are well prepared. The evaluation process also includes lab externals for the subjects included in that particular semester.

Other: CMRIT has an array of clubs and societies. They cater to the technical, cultural, and sports interests of students. Students are encouraged to join these clubs to develop and enhance their skills. They also follow their passions. Our college organizes various events and fests. This includes our yearly student fest CULTURA. It is entirely organized by the students of CMRIT. We also celebrate various festivals, Ethnic Day, Sports Meets, and technical events and workshops. These events allow students to showcase their talents. They also interact with peers from various institutes.

Good placement and hostel is also nice.

Placements: The college is very supportive in terms of campus placements. They put a high effort into making the students capable in technical and communication skills through soft skills classes and innovative design thinking classes, so that when they enter interview grounds, the companies can pick many students for high salary packages.

Infrastructure: Yes, we have a campus hostel. The infrastructure of the hostel is impressive. The hostel is well-maintained. The warden puts much effort into hygiene and cleanliness. Personally, apart from the morning breakfast, the food is good. The restrooms and living rooms are cleaned daily.

Faculty: The faculty of CMRIT is very friendly. They give detailed explanations along with PPT presentations. They explain and clear all doubts and cover the syllabus beforehand. They also provide us with a lot of trips and advice for better scoring. Teachers provide us with different reference books and materials.

Other: The college is great. It provides the best experience of applied learning and a sense of competition and placement that happens in real time, after the completion of the course. The college has a large, eco-friendly campus and a student-compatible environment. It is one of the top colleges that is underrated.
