Good hostel, classrooms, and placements record.
Placements: 90% of students from the batch secured job offers across various sectors. The highest was 12 lpa, and the lowest was at 70k per month. Zoho, Infosys, Royal Enfield, TCS, and Wipro are the top recurring companies for this course. Full-stack developer, backend developer, cloud engineer, site reliability engineer, and product engineer are some of the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: We got a new block recently, especially for MSC integrated courses. Classrooms are good. The institute provides well-maintained facilities for sports like football, cricket, basketball, and tennis.
A modern gym equipped with cardio and weight-training equipment is accessible to students.
Faculty: It's quite good. High-speed internet connectivity is available throughout the hostel premises. Laundry facilities are available to help students manage their daily needs with ease. Round-the-clock security personnel and CCTV surveillance to ensure student safety.
Other: I chose it just because it was different from other courses.

Review of Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
Placements: This college provides good placements in and around India. Companies like Amazon, IBM, Thorogood, and many other wonderful ones come here. They also offer 6+6 months of internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel is pretty neat and clean. The hostels are allotted as per their year. There are separate departmental and hostel buildings for different courses. The food is hygienic and appreciable. Outing is allowed, but there are restrictions.
Faculty: The college has many ECA clubs and activities. There are almost 32 clubs led by students in a wonderfully organized manner. These clubs are educational as well as sportive and filled with fun and joy. Every club gives us enthusiasm.

Review of Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placements every year. The highest salary package offered to seniors is 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 5 LPA - 7 LPA. As per the senior many get placed in companies like Amazon, Thorogood, Deeksha. Around 90% of students get placed every year. Technical developer and system designer are top roles offered by companies to our course.
Infrastructure: As our college was built around 1950, the infrastructure is old. But the laboratories are good, and the classrooms are also good. The hostel is not good on infrastructure, few blocks which are built i.e new is good. The food is not good in hostels, and there is no indoor ground for students to play sports.
Faculty: Some teachers are good friends to students, they teach students in an easy way that students could understand well. They also help students in project doubt, and they encourage students. Some staffs are not that good at teaching, they use to teach through powerpoint presentations and not give some extra attention to students. The course makes students ready for the industry, and the semester here is difficult.
Other: I opted for this course, because my keen interest in coding and programming motivated me to choose this course. This course gives me all the knowledge to get fit in an industry. The curriculum may be updated as per the company requirement and the staff can be more knowledgeable.

Placements: Placements are above average here, and both the product and service-based companies visit CIT. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. As if you have experience of 6 months of internship, you will have an added advantage. You should have problem-solving skills and coding knowledge. CIT boosts start-ups, and it has its own EDC cell, where it incubates new start-ups of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in CIT because it is 60 years old. Labs are decent, but the infrastructure won't attract you. However, CIT is one of the top reputed colleges for engineering. Its glory is incomparable. You can find many clubs, and they are huge in number. Joining them improve your contact with seniors.
Faculty: The curriculum is challenging, and exams are difficult. You have to spend your time to learn on your own. Faculty members here only guide, and you should learn on your own. I suggest you join this college only if you have a true interest. You have a very hectic workload of assignments, mini-projects, records, observations, manuals, etc. So you have to work every time.
Other: Nakshatra is an event organised for first-year students where you can join other departments and your engineering friends. Students can celebrate the event altogether.

Placements: Almost 99% of the students got placed with good salary pacakges. Over the years, CIT has been consistently improving its placement performance. The industry has been offering jobs with diverse profiles to our students. CIT grooms students to inculcate a flexible and adaptable nature so they are well prepared for the corporate world by the time they leave the portals of the institute. We at CIT are encouraged to see several industries returning, year after year, to our institute for recruitment. This reinforces our belief in the effectiveness of our curriculum and its suitability concerning the dynamic corporate world. Strategies & strengths facilitate placement at CIT.
Infrastructure: Coimbatore Institute of Technology is one of the best technical located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The campus of CIT is spread in a sprawling area of 26 acres of land. CIT institute is well-equipped with excellent state-of-the-art infrastructure & modern technologies. Faculty: The behavior of our faculty members is too good. I find the teachers of this college are very supportive. The college management is strict and so are the teachers, but they are doing their jobs I guess. The education quality is very good here.

Great course for anyone who's interested in becoming a developer.
Placements: Integrated M.Sc. in Software Systems has seen 93.4% placements at CIT with the CTC ranging from 3.5LPA to 33LPA. Major recruiters include, but not limited to, D E Shaw, ABCO, Acolite, FreshWorks, Thorogood, and Yahoo for the roles of software engineer, developer, tester, and full stack among others. Since the structure of the course provides two full-semester worth of opportunities for internships, almost every student has got an internship. Most of these internships came from firms, who later converted these internships into full-time offers.
Infrastructure: The department is provided with support for two computer labs. Wi-Fi facility is also available. Multiple hostels are available to accommodate students. Hostels have Wi-Fi access. The mess provides good-quality food with options for South Indian as well as North Indian cuisine. Football, Basketball, Cricket, Hockey, and other sporting fields are available within the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are really helpful in imparting knowledge, and in gaining knowledge on the latest technologies. The course curriculum is also updated ever so often to accommodate the needs of the industry. Electives are also added every year to develop students' skills.
Other: I chose this course since it provides students with ample knowledge, and industry exposure. I am quite satisfied with the course.

Placements: Almost 93.44% of students got placed through campus drives. The highest salary package offered in our course is 33 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies like D. E. Shaw, ABCO, Accolite, MiQ, Jivox, PlaySimple and Yahoo visited our campus for placements. Roles like software engineers and data analyst are offered to the students. Almost 93.44% of students got an internship, and mostly all students got an internship with full-time offers.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green. The college is situated in the heart of the city. The department of computer is located right next to the library. The library provides all genres of educational materials, periodicals and e-books. Departments are fully equipped with smart classrooms which make learning more interactive and fruitful. The college provides live demos of the various programs which help us to understand and work for hands-on in the various technologies. All classrooms are provided with Wi-Fi facility so that students can work on their PCs. There are 2 computer labs which can accomodate a total of 120 students at a time. Labs are up to date with the latest technology and high-speed internet.
Faculty: Staff members in our department are very much updated regarding the new technologies being used in the industry. They are very helpful and will help the students to learn. They give a chance for each student to take up an elective during various semesters. Self-learning is highly encouraged with proper assistance from the faculty. Various students present papers on new topics with guidance from the staff members. They tirelessly work to help the students with their doubts even after college hours.

Best course with best placements.
Placements: 1. 93.44% of the students got placed through our campus drives (Currently in December 2019, placement drive end by May 2020)
2. The highest salary Paid - 33LPA and the lowest Paid - 3.5LPA
3. Deshaw, ABCO, Accolite, MiQ, Jivox, Playsimple, Yahoo are the top recruiting companies.
4. Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer & QA are thebroles offered.
5. The highest package - 15LPA the lowest - 4LPA Average- 6LPA
6. 93.44% of the students got Internship, mostly all students got internship in the company they got FTE.
Infrastructure: 1. CIT provides a bunch of facilities from Library to Smart Class (Only in Integrated M.Sc. Courses). All the facilities are provided below
- Jio Wi-Fi upto 1GB per student per day
- well-equipped labs
- comfortable classrooms with charging socket for every student in their desks
2. I was not staying in hostel, all I know is they charge for food every month (not complete payment in the beginning) and it's very cheap. CIT hostel is the only hostel in Coimbatore that charges less fee per year. Few Buildings are quite old and less comfy but the new building are very and comfy. It has a medical facilities, small gym, sports club (2 Tennis grounds, Badminton court, Basketball court, Cricket ground and an OAT Stadium with running tracks and football court in the center) and also mess and canteen.
Faculty: 1. Many of our staff hold PhDs and they are always helpful. They upgrade themselves with "in trend" concepts and technologies to provide best teaching experience.
2. Curriculum is revised every year so that it benefits students and make them industry ready. Two 6 months Internship programs (one in 7th semester and one in 10th semester) make them get the industrial experience before joining as FTE. Curriculum forms the base of students knowledge and it's well framed with Choice Based Credit System(Students can select the subject they want to learn).
Other: 1. Full core subjects (In trend subjects) and Internship experience made me choose this course

3. Frequent inter and intra college events, campus is quite crowded, there are around 20 clubs for students for their extra-curricular activities.
