KEAM 2026: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has started the KEAM registration process. The online application form for KEAM is available online at cee.kerala.gov.in until January 31. CEE has also announced the KEAM 2026 exam dates officially. The KEAM 2026 exam will be held from April 13 to 25, with April 13, 16, 24 and 25 being buffer days.
KEAM 2026 entrance exam for engineering and pharmacy admission will be a computer-based test with exam centres across selected venues in all Districts in Kerala, New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai. The exam will be held across multiple days and in one shift per day.

KEAM 2026 Eligibility
Candidates can check the KEAM eligibility criteria 2026 below:
Age requirement: Only those candidates are eligible to appear for the entrance exam who have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2026. Candidates shall not be awarded any relaxation in the minimum age requirement. There is no upper age limit to apply for KEAM 2026.
Nationality Criteria: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for KEAM 2026. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders shall be treated at par with Indian citizens for admission. However, PIO/OCI candidates will not be eligible to claim any relaxation meant for reserved category candidates. Indian citizens will further be classified as Keralites and Non-Keralites.
Education qualification: Candidates should check the elaborate and detailed education qualification needed as per KEAM eligibility before they start the registration process.
How to Apply for KEAM 2026?
CEE Kerala releases the KEAM 2026 application form in online mode only on the official website - cee.kerala.gov.in. The steps to apply for KEAM 2026 are given below:

For admission to engineering and pharmacy courses, the KEAM entrance exam is held, followed by the KEAM counselling process. Whereas, the KEAM counselling is held for Architecture, Medical courses, Agriculture, BSc(Hons) Co-operation & Banking/BSc (Hons) Agri Business Management, Climate Change & Environmental Science, BTech Biotechnology, Forestry, Veterinary and Fisheries courses. The allotment in these courses is based on national-level entrance exams like NEET and NATA.
Whereas the KEAM counselling for engineering and pharmacy courses is based on the KEAM entrance exam marks. - KEAM entrance exam - Annual test takers
The KEAM entrance exam is taken by around 1 lakh candidates every year. In 2025, 86549 appeared for the engineering exam and 33425 for the pharmacy test. 76230 candidates qualified the engineering exam; on the other hand, 27841 qualified the pharmacy exam. - KEAM entrance exam pattern
The KEAM entrance exam transitioned from a pen and paper exam to a computer-based test in 2024. The KEAM exam has one paper with three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. The KEAM entrance exam for engineering courses consists of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions, and Chemistry having 30 questions. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY, the entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry. Each correct answer will fetch candidates four marks, while every incorrect answer will result in a deduction of one mark. - KEAM exam qualifying marks
To qualify in the KEAM 2026 Engineering and BPharm Entrance Examination and be eligible for the respective rank list, candidates have to get a minimum normalised score of 10. - KEAM exam scoring and selection process
The marks of the candidates in the KEAM entrance exam are normalised to ensure that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the KEAM examinations in multiple sessions. The final KEAM rank list is based on the marks of the qualifying exam and the KEAM entrance exam marks. - KEAM counselling

KEAM Mock Tests 2026
The KEAM mock tests are released online for candidates who are preparing for the upcoming entrance test and want to improve their time management and score better. CEE releases the KEAM mock test for the registered KEAM candidates, which the candidates can access free of cost.
KEAM is a computer-based entrance test, and candidates can take the online KEAM mock test to enhance their efficiency in answering as many questions. The mock test will help candidates become familiar with the test pattern and allow them to practice for the actual test.
KEAM Hall Ticket 2026
The KEAM admit card 2026 is issued to the candidates who complete the registration process by the deadline specified by CEE. Registered candidates can login to the KEAM candidate portal to access the hall ticket. The admit card for the KEAM exam contains the allotted exam date and time, according to which the candidates need to appear for the KEAM exam.
Without the KEAM admit card 2026 accompanied by a valid government ID proof, no candidate will be allowed to take the exam. On the day of the exam, the admit card must be carried in printed format. Also, after the exam is over, the hall ticket must be kept safe, as it will be needed at the time of KEAM counselling too.

- KEAM 2026 scorecard: For students taking the KEAM 2026 exam, the scorecard will be available on the official website. This scorecard shows how well each candidate did in the exam, including their marks in individual subjects as well as their overall score.
- KEAM 2026 rank list: The KEAM rank list is created by combining the scores from the KEAM exam with marks from a qualifying exam that students have taken. Different courses may weigh these two sets of scores differently when compiling the rank lists. This applies to various programs such as Engineering, Architecture, Medicine (MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS), Agriculture, Veterinary studies, and more.

KEAM is the Kerala Engineering entrance examination for those candidates who wish to pursue UG engineering courses from the prestigious private and government colleges of Kerala. Yes, a student apply for KEAM if they satisfy the eligibility condition:
- The appearing candidates should be an Indian citizen.
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply but they are not entitled to claim any reservation.
The candidates who are not Kerala origin and even their parents also dont have any residence proof of Kerala, but satisfying the following candidates:
- Passed their qualifying examination from Kerala and Parents are posted in Kerala and employee of defense or central government.
- The candidates whose parents are serving/served Kerala Government for a period of 2 years and appearing/appeared qualifying examination from Kerala will come in this category and eligible for applying.
- In case, if the candidate is not the permanent resident of Kerala but spent 5 years of his/her study in Kerala then he/she is also eligible.
- Those who do not have domicile certificate of Kerala but completed/pursuing their 8th to 12th studies from Kerala are also eligible for KEAM.

This means medical aspirant have to fill the KEAM application form and enter the NEET scores in the form. Admission in medical courses will be based on NEET scores.

However, it is not compulsory to complete all the steps in one go. Candidates can do each step at a different time. But they should use the 'Save' button frequently to save the entered data.
To qualify in the KEAM Engineering Entrance Examination and thereby become eligible to get in the Engineering rank list, a candidate has to score a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II of the Engineering Entrance Examination. The candidates who do not score the minimum stipulated marks will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of minimum marks in the Engineering Entrance Examination. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in each paper will be disqualified. Also for the B.Pharma rank list, a candidate has to get a minimum of 10 marks out of the index of 480 calculated. The candidates who do not get the minimum stipulated index mark will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of a minimum index mark for ranking for the B.Pharma course. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in Paper-I of the Engineering Entrance Examination will be disqualified.

The educational qualification for KEAM will be different for various engineering programmes offered. However, the minimum eligibility criteria is that a candidate should have passed Class 12 with Science subjects. Qualification for engineering courses: Candidates are eligible to apply for programmes such as B.Tech (Ag. Engineering. ). And B.Tech (Food engineering. ). And B.Tech (Dairy Science & Technology) if they fulfil the below-mentioned criteria: Must clear the HSC exam of Kerala or equivalent from a recognised board. Must have secured a minimum 50% marks in the subject of Mathematics, as well as 50% aggregate in Physics and Chemistry. However, candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 45% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges. In case, a candidate has not studied Chemistry. The marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry.
