Our college situated in a good healthy environment. Teachers should improve students knowledge.
Placements: About 10% of the students got placed in different food industries. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month, while the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies for our course are ITC, Fall Food, Srini Food, MTR, etc. Top roles offered in our course are QC executive, QA executive and R&D trainee. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3.0 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 2.0 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Out of 100 students, all students got placements in Tirumala Dairy, Ongole Dairy, ITC Foods, Envirocare Labs, Patanjali and Heritage Foods.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge library which is situated for food techno books and other GK books. It also has a fully facilitated auditorium, food technology lab, food chemistry lab, food microbiology lab and food engineering lab. In the hostels, students have to 2 accommodate in one room. The mess is available separately. A playground is also available which is spread over 5 acres.
Faculty: Teaching staff members here are good. They all completed post-graduation in food tech, chemistry and microbiology. Every subject has a separate teacher to conduct classes. The course curriculum is relevant. In the final year of 1st and 2nd semesters, they will make us gain the whole practical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course as this is a very competitive subject. So students have to learn for becoming future. Job opportunities are very good, and this course makes you become an entrepreneur. I wish that our college should provide more infrastructure and future facilities by using the latest technology in food technology. Scholarships are provided every year, i.e., Rs. 15,000. Events are organised in our college like fest, games and freshers every year. There is no Wi-Fi facility, but library books are enough to study.
