The highest package offered in the recent placements is not out yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 has revealed the 2022 median package details. The highest median package for the 2022 passing out batch was INR 8 LPA and was offered to LLM students. Studies in Panjab University are at par with the leading Educational Institutes in our country. It was even the highest ranked Indian Institute for a while according to a survey by Times Higher education. Should have passed FA/F.Sc./ A level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Should have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission. Must have appeared in the PU Admission Test conducted by Punjab University. To be eligible for the three-year PU LLB course, a candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks or 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

 For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students must go through the Panjab University CHD-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission at Panjab University.
