An honest review - D. G. Ruparel College.
Placements: Around 5% of students get placed with the minimum stipend of Rs 10,000 per month. Many would try to acquire internships on or off campus. Top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Accenture, etc. Our college has not been providing many internships for the past few years so I don't know much about the current situation. Top roles offered in my course would be software developer, web developer, data scientist, network administration, database administration, cyber-security analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available and not much range is found in the classrooms. Classrooms are big and well accommodating. Computers in our labs sometimes stop working but overall it is still pretty good. Hostel facilities seem okay and some of the canteen food is really great, pocket friendly, and healthy. Being an athlete, the ground is my favorite place. We get to play after 3:00 PM and it is great. A lot of games including both indoor and outdoor games are available. May it be any sport, the gymkhana department is very supportive.
Faculty: I was very sick the past few months and all my teachers were very supportive and helped me learn better. They are helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable. They adjust their teaching technique according to the student's manner of accepting it. Initially, we had a few subjects that I felt were irrelevant but they are making us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to difficult and we have a good passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the cyber field and I am hoping to achieve it too. The best thing about my course is that the study makes my mind work better and makes me want to do something. I only wish that teachers would be a little more considerate regarding the students. We have events like saree day, traditional day, mismatch day, bollywood day, and many more. Aarambh fest is there along with dot tech and Udyojak. Campus crowd is okay and the scholarships are helpful as well.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor management system and not-so-good faculty.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students were placed in my course. I have not been informed through my friends or my teaching staff who recently passed out about top companies yet. Top roles were indeed offered, one of them was an IT manager or roles related to Cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty average. The Wi-Fi range is mid, and most of the PCs in the lab don't work or are busted most of the time. The hostel infrastructure needs some construction as well. Pretty average, I say, and the canteen also provides decent food.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well some of them, and quite friendly. However, some of the teaching staff could adopt a different approach to make it more interesting. It's like a 50-50 situation regarding the students being industry-ready. The semester exams are indeed hard; passing without continuous studying will definitely lead to a KT. So don't slack off.

It is an average college but has good infrastructure.
Placements: About 5% of students got placed in our course, and others got internships on referrals. Our college doesn't provide any placements, but it provides a few internships to random students. Many meritorious students did not get internships. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide Wi-Fi. A hostel is available on campus. Labs are not air-conditioned. Students need to share computers because only a few are available. Classrooms are not air-conditioned but are good, and it feels good to study. Our college has a gymkhana, where we can play various games like table tennis, carrom, etc. We can join kabaddi and Kho-Kho teams.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. They encourage us well. Students need to work hard to get into good companies. Our college doesn't provide any guidance. Our college comes under Mumbai University, so exams are conducted according to its norms. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: Our college celebrates a small tech-fest known as Dot Tech.

Review of D. G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: Around 5-6% of students were placed in companies. The companies which came to college for placements were those who had employees who were either ex-students or who were indirectly linked to college through any other mode. The companies were looking for students with good knowledge of the required role and CGPA higher than 8.
Infrastructure: In this college, good infrastructure and facilities were provided. The library has one of the best infrastructures with computed infrastructure for students to search the required books. The college was known for its big campus where the students can walk and interact with classmates. It also provides a basketball court, volleyball court, table tennis area, etc. Along with it also provides a shooting area with a state-level champion coach to teach shooting to some students.
Faculty: Some experienced teachers were very helpful in terms of teaching and doubt solving. The curriculum was followed by University of Mumbai. The college strictly follows all the rules set by this university. The difficulty level of exams was rated as 4 out of 5.

It is a good campus with a good crowd but teachers are not provided on time for some subjects.
Placements: Our college doesn't offer placements.
Infrastructure: All the facilities provided are good. We have good labs and classrooms are neat and clean. Library is also good. Canteen is the best and the food quality is also good. We also have a gym and anyone can go and use it.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but for some subjects, teachers are not provided on time. Because of this, we face many issues. Every semester has such an issue.
Other: Events and fest held are awesome.
