College exemplifies excellence in various dimensions.
Placements: My batch is the batch of 2022. Every batch consists of 150 students. There are many roles that can be offered after completion of the MBBS degree. A student can pursue a postgraduate course or work as a medical officer, tutor at medical institutions, and there are other healthcare opportunities as well.
Infrastructure: The college offers all the necessary amenities. There are spacious classrooms and laboratories. There are 2 hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. The girls' hostel provides twin-sharing rooms. The in-time for hostels is around 9:30 to 10 pm. Cleanliness is maintained in both the college and the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is dedicated, and the curriculum is very rigorous. Time-to-time tests are conducted, and assignments are given. The level of difficulty of exams is medium, and the faculty provides all the resources required. The teaching is great, and faculty members are open to communication.

Review of D. Y. Patil Medical College.
Placements: Students get placements in our hospital but the salary packages are not good. Students can practice in this college. Internships are provided for every student after 4th year but the stipend is not offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hospital is not good. There are very old buildings. It provides three separate hostels for boys and girls which are very far from our college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful. They solve the doubts of the students. Some of them are rude. Our college conducts internal exams three times a year. Examinations conducted in our college are tough. The pass percentage is very less.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the medical field. Our college doesn't organise events. It is a study-oriented college. Our batch consists of 150 students. Our college provides admission on the NRI quota.

Poor campus life but good faculty members.
Placements: We don't get placements here because it is a medical college. But getting a job after getting the MBBS degree isn't a very difficult task. And not many apply for job after completing MBBS rather most of the students study higher courses like MD or UPSC etc.
Infrastructure: The campus life is poor, because there is no proper campus, dorm parties are not allowed. Even if you throw dorm party outside the campus, and the college gets to know about it, you are in huge trouble. There are no clubs or cultural societies. Students are prom all parts of India. Hostel Facilities are only for first year students. Hostels are okay, eat sleep and go to college, nothing much can be expected.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, all are Doctors and are always ready to help us out. They are hard working and put efforts in teaching and teach with excitement. The theoretical part is very important, but the practical knowledge is what matters the most, and you get that from the 1 year practice.

Review of DY Patil Medical College, Kolhapur.
Placements: I'm a second-year MBBS student at DY Patil Medical College Kolhapur. In our college, there are three courses MBBS, physiotherapy, and nursing. The internship students, mainly MBBS students, don't get stipends as per the fees the college is not so worthy, but if you have less marks in NEET, you can apply here.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good. The campus is small. The hospital is 4 km away. Girls have one dormitory and boys have two separate hostels. The hostel buildings are old. The hostel is 2-3 km from the college. Buses are provided. The mess provides only lunch and dinner and not breakfast and snacks. In sports facilities, only cricket is played.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and knowledgeable. They teach us using PPT or sometimes just interaction. Practical knowledge should be more important than theory. Exams like internals, prelims, and finals are conducted in our college. Exams are difficult. Evaluation is strict. In finals, 80-90% of students pass, but in internals, less than 50% of students pass.
Other: My childhood dream was to be a doctor so I chose MBBS as my career. The best thing is that we get to learn about our own body anatomy, the faith of patients in their doctors, respect in society, etc. The course should be less than 5.5 years, and seats for UG and PG both should be increased in our country as per the population and scarcity of doctors in India. Events like convocation, bioethics day, aids day, mental health day, etc., are celebrated, and festivals like Ganpati and Navratri are celebrated in our college.

Our college provides good teaching.
Placements: Our college provides internships to students, but without any stipend.
Infrastructure: The hostel buildings are old. There are two separate hostels for boys named Fernandes, and for girls, Ajinkya Tara. Hostels are not situated on the college campus, they are about 3-4 km away. The mess serves food only for lunch and dinner. They don't provide snacks. The food is average. Students should not enter the hostel after 9 PM.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They solve students' problems. They are always ready to help students. They conduct semester exams very strictly and are very punctual about exams. The passing rate in internal exams is low.
Other: The infrastructure should be improved. Our college timings are from 8 AM to 5 PM. Our college has many courses like nursing, physiotherapy, etc. Many events like bioethics day, mental health day, etc., are held in our college.
