Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering offers three courses, namely a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), PhD, and MSc (Research). The college offers entrance exam-based admission to all the courses. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Engineering, Basic Science, and Humanities. In the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) undergraduate (UG) system of admission, those seeking entry must first appear in an entrance test such as KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE (non-Karnataka applicants), then undergo a merit ranking, according to the results of such tests, and must have completed the class 12 qualification with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. These entrance tests are merit based and the admissions may be management quota based.

You must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics and pass the class 12 or its equivalent examination and one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics. In the case of Karnataka SC/ST/OBC, the total is 40%.
2. Entrance Exam:
Enrol in and take one of the qualification entrance examinations.
KCET: Karnataka Common Entrance Test, which is administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
COMEDK UGET: Karnataka consortium of medical, engineering and dental college entrance examination.
JEE: Joint Entrance Examination.
3. Merit-Based Admission:
Admissions are made on the basis of the meritorious ranking received in the entrance exams.

Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted once every year. The exam score is valid for one exam session only. Karnataka PGCET is an offline exam with as many as 100 MCQs to be answered within 150 minutes. The fee structure for DSCE BTech CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) under the Management quota is INR 4.2 Lacs per year. Apart from this, Students must pay other fees as well every year. The minimum eligibility required for BTech programme is:
