Overall, the best college for M.A. in Sociology course.
Placements: 66% of the students were placed from our college. A 25 LPA package is the highest amount available. The offered minimum package is 2 LPA. Satyarthi, IAS Gurukul, Monk Prayogshala, and others are top recruiting firms. An internship was obtained by about 62% of students. Social workers, researchers, and others are among the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: We have a mediocre college infrastructure. Within our college, there is a small playground. The labs are good. It has decent Wi-Fi. The benches are outdated. The food in the mess is bad. The money spent on the accommodation is not worth it. The hostel does not have security personnel on duty. According to security, students cannot leave the dormitory without a guard's signature.
Faculty: By teaching us the fundamentals, teachers enable us to advance. Semester exams are not too difficult. Our teachers were the primary reason for our placement. No matter how long it takes, they are willing to teach us even if we don't understand the fundamentals. They even continue to assist us after college hours. It has a 60% pass rate.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Good companies came for placement, but I never appeared for the internship. They offered a good stipend per month, along with good facilities and a positive work environment. Many students were placed through the university's placement cell, but I did not appear for any of placements because my aim was different, and the salary was also very impressive. There was 100% job placement in MNCs, banks, analytics, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Hostels were big and government-funded. The mess food was decent, with many options available, as there were many hostels in the near vicinity. It was quite affordable, and facilities were excellent, on par with other good institutions.
Faculty: Actually, the coursework of the M.A. was very different here from other universities. It was divided into 4 semesters, with four papers in each semester. Faculty members were very supportive and nice to students. They were very knowledgeable and taught students with great energy and provided good references for study. Faculty members were excellent and included senior, renowned scholars from world-class universities. The syllabus was quite updated, and we were free to chose an optional paper from other centers as well. Our center was named the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, and subject's scope was not restricted. The course structure encompassed topics from history, geography, political science, economics, psychology, culture, anthropology, and medicine.

Review of Delhi School of Economics (DSE), University of Delhi.
Placements: There are various internship opportunities available to get our social credit, and these internships are generally with local NGOs, but for internships related to jobs, it was all done by the students themselves. The college has its placement cell with ample opportunities at hand for all students. The campus placements witness quite a few large companies each year. The course helps me to find jobs myself after I graduate in the fields of human resources, law, social work, teaching, media, NGO, etc. The companies are usually PR firms or social services. 70% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: My course is sociology, where there is a focus on history, and in my university, sociology lectures are expected in the explanation class, which is about 2 hrs with a good explanation and digital classes. The course syllabus will be very theoretical. Long hostel facilities are awesome and most of the time remain clean. The food is fine. Food also depends on the contractor. There are some rules and regulations to be followed to ensure girls' security. The area in which the college is located is safe. Also, hostel charges were familiar for students, and there was a 24/7 water supply and electricity.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They help in gaining exposure beyond the walls of the classroom, teaching. Each faculty member possesses rich knowledge, which is essential and helpful. The essential characteristic of the faculty remains their polite behavior. The course teachers are very good, well-mannered, good at speaking with students, well educated, supportive, and the student ratio was too good because all the students were present at every lecture. The exam structure is a semester system where 2 internal exams and 1 end-of-semester exam are taken in every semester, with a gap of 6 months.

Overall, it is the best college for M.A. in Sociology.
Placements: Roughly 75 percent of the students were placed. 8 LPA was the biggest wage package available. 3 LPA was the lowest package. 5 LPA was the average salary package provided. The top employers were CRY, Pratham, Azim Premji Foundation, and social research organizations. About 50% of the students got internships, and the roles offered were research associate, social analyst, or programme officer.
Infrastructure: Both the infrastructure and the facilities are good. The infrastructure has AC and Wi-Fi, and there is a very big ground and a garden available. There are well-equipped labs and ventilated classrooms, and the quality of food is also good. The library is beautiful and comfortable. Hostel facilities are also available, and sports facilities are provided. Our college also has medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members of our department are very helpful, qualified, talented, and knowledgeable. The professors are very talented and highly educated. Their quality of teaching is good. The curriculum of our courses is excellent and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult as our faculty members train us for them. The pass rate is around 75%.

Overall Best College for M.A. in Sociology Course.
Placements: More than 75% of students got placed after completing the course from this university. Many students secured jobs in various IT, banking, and other companies. After completing my M.A. in Sociology, I was posted as a teacher. Packages range between 40K to 55K, depending on the course you take. Some of my friends even got 15 LPA. Suggested top roles are HR, Technician, Research Analyst, BPO, etc. Top companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are excellent. You will love studying here because the environment is extremely clean, and the location is really good. The university has adequate resources and facilities for teaching and learning, such as a large library, laboratories, canteen, auditorium, playground, proper and hygienic washrooms, Wi-Fi, etc. The food is delicious and affordable, so there's no need to go out. The canteen is spacious enough for students to sit and eat comfortably.
Faculty: The course is well-designed and helped me get a job during the lockdown. The teachers explained each subject in such detail that every student could understand it. The teachers were well-experienced and knowledgeable. Exams were taken quarterly, and for our course, the pass percentage was 65%.
