Review of Department of Management Sciences, Pune University (PUMBA).
Placements: Around 98% of students are placed in the companies of their interest with around an annual package of 25 LPA. The average salary package offered by the department with a salary package offered was 25 LPA, and the highest salary package offered here is over 60 LPA. Top recruiting companies provide placement opportunities in top-edge leading companies like Tata Motors, Infosys, Atlas Copco, Nykaa, Wipro, Lupin, and many more successful companies. Overall, 98% of students got placed in companies like Tata, Infosys, and Atlas Copco in their desired position of work. Top roles offered in our department are positions like managing director, general manager, chairman of the department, executive leader, and chief executive officer.
Infrastructure: Our department provides you with facilities like a library, computer lab, science laboratory, study rooms, big classrooms with 24X7 onboard Wi-Fi, onboard classroom projector, whiteboard, and many more. Hostel also leads you with providing comfortable rooms with 24X7 electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and washroom facilities. The food quality is decent, mess and canteen can provide you with a meal of 2 times a day and has emergency facilities like a medical kit and hygiene facilities.
Faculty: Teaching faculty members also provide you with good quality and easy-to-understand answers. Teachers are good in their understanding and problem-solving qualities. The overall course curriculum provided makes you capable to learn a lot of things easily, and makes you able to face challenges in the upcoming industry or market situations. Thus making you industry-ready.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in learning management-related skills, and this course provided me with industry-needed skills and made me independent in taking strategic decisions according to the situation. There is nothing at which improvement is needed. On campus, there are a lot of events like gatherings, fashion shows, ramp walk events, and days celebrated like traditional day, mismatch day, retro day, twins day, chocolate day, blazer day, and many more.

A good course for students who are interested to work in the hotel industry and to travel the world.
Placements: As we are the first batch of BBA (HFM) course here, we yet to experience the placement procedure. Students get good exposure to work and learn how the industry works with the help of internships. Our teachers are very helpful and supportive regarding internships.
Infrastructure: The building of BBA includes two classrooms, a conference room, a kitchen, a BRD practical room. We also have a restaurant named Outliers which is our F&B practical area. There is a huge parking space to park both two wheeler and four wheeler vehicles. They are also going to open a big canteen soon for students.
Faculty: We have two main faculty members, namely Dr Arati Prabhu and Dr Deep Prasad who are our course coordinators. Guest faculty members are invited to teach other subjects. Our faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory. We have completed a month-long two internships during this semester. It's mandatory for students to do a 5-month industrial training in the 4th semester.
Other: Like every college, even this college has its own event called Dhruv, which is organised on 29th, 30th and 31st of January every year. This college also has different cells, and students choose different cells according to their interests.

One of the top business college in Maharashtra.
Placements: Many good companies have come to our college for the placement programs and our senior students were placed at very well positions. Also as our course is new we hope to get placed in well known companies. According to our seniors almost 75-80% students get selected for placements.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the building and the campus environment is very nice and comfortable. We have a big library which has many books on various subjects. Also the facilities provided in the campus like the food in the canteen is also of good quality. The hostel rooms are very clean and provide necessary facilities like electricity, water supply and security. It also has a basketball and a volleyball court.
Faculty: All the teaching as well as the non teaching faculty are very well educated. The teachers also work alongside in the hotel industry which gives an added advantage to the students as the get real time knowledge about the happenings in the industry. The teachers use power point presentation medium to teach which also helps the students to understand better. The course curriculum is also very well updated. The teachings are according to the rules of the hotel industry which helps the students to perform better during their industrial trainings as well.

Really good infrastructure and course curriculum.
Placements: In general, the placements of the senior batch have been very good and in well known companies. Many known hotels and companies have visited the campus and gave really good placements to the students. As our course is new, we hope to get good placements in the future.
Infrastructure: We have a different building for this course. All the classrooms are well-equipped with projectors for the faculty members to teach better. We also have different labs for the practicals. There is a library having books on all subjects and well as on other topics as well. The quality of the canteen food is also very good.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified for this course, most of them still working in the industry. This helps them to give the students real time information of the industry. The faculty use power point presentations to teach which helps the students to learn better. The course curriculum is also well updated which helps the students to learn the actual methods practiced. The course also includes industrial training for the students which helps them to get the proper industrial exposure.
