Good faculty with a helpful nature, improve placement statistics, and good facilities.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent of students are placed in the whole 2024 pass-out batch, with most of the students placed in core companies. Mass recruiter companies also come on campus for recruitment and hire students in bulk quantities. During 2024, the highest package of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering branch was 8 Lacs per annum, the average package was 2.4 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 1.8 Lacs per annum. Mainly, startups are visiting the campus, such as Control Sprint, Elcom Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, Cyber Success, and HP. All students got internships, including Jio.
Infrastructure: Library facilities are available on campus. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus. The classrooms are well-designed. Different labs are available, such as the VLSI Lab, Communication Lab, Embedded Systems Lab, and Antenna Lab. A sports complex is also available on the university campus.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, with most of the faculty having completed their Ph.D., and they are very helpful in nature. They always try to motivate you and encourage you to participate in new activities. The courses are updated and aligned with NEP. Semester exams are like other university exams.

Average College Life of an Average Student.
Placements: According to last year's records, around 60% of students were placed with proper job opportunities. The highest package was around 8 Lacs per annum. The lowest package was around 3 Lacs, while the average package is 3.5 Lacs. Most of the students went into the IT sector. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and Wipro were available. Most of those companies offered roles for software development.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are good and have a clean environment. There are a lot of gardens and trees surrounding the campus, as it provides a healthy environment. The hostel has a sharing room system. The boys' and girls' hostels are separate, and each room consists of 3-4 students. The facilities include Wi-Fi, clean classrooms with digital education. Libraries provide a lot of books regarding the subject required and also provide journals, articles, newspapers, and research papers. It also has Wi-Fi too.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about the subject they taught. They also supported us with difficult questions, guided us in projects and practical sessions. The teaching was decent but with boring lectures or periods. The course curriculum is not relevant as students do not have practical knowledge about industry work. So, the students are not industry-ready. The semester exams are not pretty tough, but after a few hours of study, you can pass the exam. The theory exam is 70 marks, and internal evaluation is 30 marks, totaling 100 marks. The passing criteria is around 40.
Other: Well, I needed CSE but was not eligible, so I had to choose this field. But after studying in this course, I got to know about jobs through this course. E&TC provides jobs in both, i.e., the software sector and also in core industries. The course can be improved by lectures conducting in the native language, keeping scientific words as they are, and providing more practical knowledge. There are a lot of events in college such as gatherings, fresher's parties, traditional days, Navratri festivals, Independence Day and Republic Day, sports, and technical events like coding masters and poster presentations. There are a lot of scholarships based on caste and reservation.

2021 there are coming best company for placement
Placements: In the department of technology in Shivaji University, the placements are good. The lowest package is 2.5 lack per annual, the average package is 6 lack per annual, and the highest package is 10 lack per annual. Here, 60-65% student are placed in the year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure are also best here, with available Wi-Fi access for free. The big library is here, and the classroom and lab are clean and best. Here, hostel are available, and separate hostel for girl student and boys student, so hostel quality are best.
Faculty: In this college, teachers staff are good because younger teacher are here, so they help to understand concept to students. For the computer Science and engineering coarse, this college are best choice because the PC and more instruments are available here.
Other: The best course in department of technology in Shivaji University is computer Science and engineering. The teachers staff are also good. The package for CSE course is best in this college.

Good but not recommended for all.
Placements: Highly qualified students and staff, but no placements. The lowest package is 1 Lakh, and the highest is 9 Lakh. Good but not at all. Placements are not enough. Only a few students get placements. Top companies don't visit this college. But they said 100 percent placements, which is a scam.
Infrastructure: Good overall. Sports are quite good. Staff is also highly qualified. But no placements due to no advertisement or no one knows the college. But definitely good. I will suggest this college for freshers for engineering as well as Ph.D. Best campus, fresh environment, no disturbance, no traffic, no rush area.
Faculty: Exams are very difficult due to the university. Strict and no cheating is allowed. Students are very good at academics. Teachers are also good. But due to misinformation, no companies visit this college. This is a government college, but no one takes admission due to placements.
Other: Good for beginners.

Department of Technology, SUK from final year food technology student's point of view.
Placements: In my course, i.e., B.Tech food technology, we have 100% placement, where students get placed in good companies like Amul, Gokul, FSSAI, Gadre Marine, etc. The average package is around 7 L per year. Top recruiting companies would be all food industries, covering all sectors like Nestled, Amul, ITC, etc. We have internships twice compulsory during the course, whereas students are placed in good companies, and there is good feedback from companies regarding students and their skills.
Infrastructure: We have free WiFi in our college for every student for educational purposes only. Lab classrooms are spacious and clean. Hostel facilities are okay, and food is okay too. We do have good, free-of-cost medical facilities for students in university, and there is a lot of scope and appreciation for sports and cultural activities. The labs are a little outdated; the machinery needs an update.
Faculty: Faculty staff is good and helpful if you are curious. The curriculum is relevant but needs a little update. Semester exams are easy if lectures are attended by students regularly; otherwise, they are extremely difficult. Teaching quality is very good. Exams are held every six months by the university. Pattern is practical and relevant.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it is undying. There are a lot of options to pursue and a lot of scope. If you don't get good jobs, you can open your own business.

Overall, good campus and teaching have digital boards in every class .
Placements: The placement of students so far is at 90%, with the highest package being 7 LPA, the lowest being 2 LPA, and the average being 4 LPA. Both technical and non-technical companies visit our branch, and overall, about 90% of students have been selected this year.
Infrastructure: The university facilities include a canteen, library, auditorium, Wi-Fi, and grounds. The hostel maintains high standards of cleanliness and offers quality food. Medical facilities are also available to ensure a comfortable stay for students. Strict security measures are in place to identify unknown persons in the college. Additionally, the college has a large playground and provides good equipment.
Faculty: The staff is well-qualified, with years of experience and provides good teaching in a simple way. The course is good, but it only covers 50% of what is needed for industry readiness. There are also internships that cover the remaining 50%. The exams are of average difficulty, and passing requires a minimum score of 40, though it may vary depending on the subject.
