    Vast variety of opportunities .
Placements: The placement ratio was good 2-3 years ago, but for 2024-25, only 10%-20% of students got placed. But, apart from that, the ratio has been decent, providing many opportunities for the unplaced students as well. Most of the roles are for hiring web developers, Jr. software engineers, business analysts, etc.
Infrastructure: All the labs have the latest PC's and the departments have quite a good infrastructure. It provides good opportunities for sports if someone is a district/state/national player. Hostels have strict rules and a common bathroom area as well. I would recommend going for private hostels or PGs if money is not an issue.
Faculty: Even the guest faculty members are good here. It all depends on the students if they're interested in studying. Semester examinations are easier than expected, and if the department is autonomous, students are more likely to connect with the PYQs because the same teachers often check the answer sheet.
Other: MCA offers a good and vast variety of jobs. As it is not just limited to be a developed. There are many job facilities for the students in various fields. An annual event is held every year with every batch to be given a chance to participate in extra curricular activities.

The college has supportive faculty and industry-relevant curriculum with decent facilities.
Placements: In my college, out of 100%, only 40% of students were placed. The highest package of this year is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Dice came this year, which is a startup that has taken a large number of students into it. More than 30% of students got internships. The top role offered is business analyst.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped. Labs and the library are resourceful. Wi-Fi is available. Hostels are decent with average mess food. Medical help is accessible. The campus has good sports facilities and an active canteen. While IIPS may not offer ultra-modern luxury facilities, it provides everything essential for a focused academic environment. The infrastructure is steadily improving, and the college promotes both academics and extracurricular growth.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant and covers industry needs. Exams are moderately difficult. Most students pass; the pass percentage is around 85–90%. Faculty is knowledgeable and approachable, with a mix of academic and practical teaching. The curriculum is mostly relevant, with some industry exposure. Exams are not too tough if you're consistent.

    Placements are not satisfactory.
Placements: Approximately 30% of students got placed. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary was 3 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. No one got internships. Roles offered were full-stack developer, front-end developer, back-end developer, and SDE. Students had good technical backgrounds grabbed off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was good. There was not any hostel or mess. There was a common health care center on campus. Good infrastructure was there for sports. Sports events and festivals were held throughout the year. Wi-Fi, library, and classroom were all good. Parking facilities were better.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified, experienced, and helpful. Teaching quality was also good but the curriculum was not sufficient to make students industry-ready. Core subjects were included in curriculum but you need to learn many technical skills from anywhere else.

I would highly recommend you this college.
Placements: Around 65% of BCA students got placed. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra. Common roles are analyst, developer, support engineer, web developer, software developer, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: The campus is so large, but the buildings are old. Wi-Fi never works. Canteen food has good taste, but it is costly. Sports facilities are good, but we are not allowed to play without HOD permission, and they don't give us permission. But the education provided by college is so good.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful, they provide us with systematic notes, college has strictness and punctuality. There has been no cheating in exams. Projects given by the teachers are so helpful for our future use and knowledge. All the teachers are so experienced.
Other: It has good placements, good college life and very knowledgeable teachers.

    Decent infrastructure and supportive faculty.
Placements: As far as I have heard, IIPS has decent placements for integrated MCA. Most of the students are getting on-campus placement or internship opportunities. The highest package for MCA is 44 LPA (off-campus) and the average goes around 6 to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deutsch Bank, etc., which give a package of 19 LPA. There are few students doing internships but they cracked those off-campus. As far as I know, mostly the roles are front-end or backed developer.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I can't say much about hostels. But the infrastructure and services of the college are satisfactory. Wi-Fi is available on campus but works mostly in labs only. Labs are nice and mostly have the Software that is required for practice.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly but sometimes, you'll feel that the teacher is not able to communicate properly regarding that subject which creates a gap for the students. Otherwise, teachers are quite experienced. The curriculum is industry related but sometimes you'll feel that the topics should be more in-depth. The college just gives an overview of everything. Exams are moderately difficult and most of the students score good marks.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it gives you a master's degree after 5 years which is nice. Also, this is a technical course which provides a decent knowledge about the industry out there. I wish this course had more industry-relevant subjects that help students to transmit from academics to the job market. Events are nice and Ganesh Chaturthi is the biggest event of IIPS. Scholarships are available in the college.

A brief review of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Placements after pursuing BCA are not very high since it's only an undergraduate course. Some students do get placed but these are students who are exceptionally talented otherwise for decent placements you have to pursue MCA. For students who got placed after BCA, the package is much less around 2 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average as you would expect from a government college, labs are decent and are equipped with decent computers and Wi-Fi. However, buildings are old and classrooms are not very nice, but compared to other government colleges infrastructure is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They are ready to help you inside as well as outside the class. Course curriculum is also up to date with modern standards, however, some old outdated subjects are still being taught however that is the case in every college in India. Exams are moderate level and easy to score.
