Best college for life sciences.
Placements: The college placement process is well structured offering good opportunities across various sectors with strong support from the placement cell. Many companies visit the campus ensuring decent placement rates, especially for technical and management courses.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well maintained with labs equipped for practical learning and spacious classrooms with projectors in every class. The library offers a vast collection of academic resources and a quiet study environment. The canteen is clean, affordable and serves a variety of hygienic food options; especially breakfast options are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and approachable. They are always ready to help students academically and personally. Most teachers are well qualified and put in extra effort to ensure students understand the concepts clearly. These teachers even help to avail scholarships for economically weaker students.
Other: The college is the best for Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry etc.

Infrastructure of the college is good, and the hostel is amazing. Overall, it’s average.
Placements: We were 18 in our batch, mostly northeastern students. The Botany department and the faculty were amazing. I don't know about other departments. I don't have much knowledge about all this, but I heard there are plenty of intern students. Overall, the college is average.
Infrastructure: Faculty members of Botany are amazing. Three teachers are there, and they are amazingly supportive. The hostel is good, and the infrastructure is also amazing, but the food is the worst. No medical facilities. There is a workout room, which is advantageous. No sports and game facilities. Overall, average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The semester is not very difficult, but I found the college careless when it comes to exams and attendance. It is not very strict, which I think could be a problem for students later. Teachers are well qualified and hold very respectable positions.
Other: I chose the course because it was suggested by an ex-student, but it wasn’t worth it. More conferences should be organized for the students. Students should be taken to various places for visits, as it is part of the syllabus.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with it.
Placements: The training and placement cell, in collaboration with different companies, organises campus placement drives. Both national and international companies and industries take part in it and hire students who they find eligible. The packages offered are quite good.
Infrastructure: I have not taken the hostel so not much aware of it. Classrooms are fully ventilated. Labs are well-equipped and well-ventilated. Free Wi-Fi is available which can be accessed by using the registration ID provided by the college. The library has almost all the possible books that cover the courses offered.
Faculty: Faculty members of the botany department are experienced experts in their respective fields and domains. They are nationally qualified, highly knowledgeable, dedicated, and helpful. The course offers both theoretical and applied knowledge. The pass percentage of the botany course is 100%. Teachers do not leave doubts which makes giving exams easy, even after the questions asked are logical, analytical, and applied type.
Other: I have always been keenly interested in both microbes and plants. Since botany is the mother branch, I chose to move forward with the same, and it allowed me to explore both, the microscopic and floral world.

It has strong academics with good placement support.
Placements: Almost 90% of students are successfully placed through campus recruitment. Many students got internships from our course in many companies. Graduates from our course are offered a range of KF roles, including a professor, consultant, research associate, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are perfect including Wi-Fi, clean labs, digital classrooms, etc. Facilities in our hostel are very good. The quality of the food is satisfied. Facilities for sports and games are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very simple and understandable. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. I can say it is 50% difficult but if we attend classes regularly then it becomes very easy.
Other: I chose this course of my own because I am interested in botany. But after completing my masters here I get to know about many things which I should know. Lastly, I can say my department is very good.
