I'm satisfied with college and faculty on the campus
Placements: Mechanical engineering students at this college have a 100% placement rate, and all the students have gotten internships at different companies. Top companies like Cipla, Ceat, and TCS have recruited students and given them good starting salaries. The students are very happy with their placement outcomes and are excited about their future careers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well maintained. The library is huge and has a wide variety of books, including study materials and project books for final year students. There's also a stationary shop on campus. The most famous Fire is available only at DBCE, and it's where we can start our startup career.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and cooperative. They help us prepare for our exams, both practically and theoretically. They also help us improve our speaking skills and prepare us for what the industry expects from us. The passing percentage was 100%. All the students cleared their semester with good grades and maintained their CGPA.
Other: Don Bosco College of Engineering is famous for its mechanical and civil engineering programs. It is the second college to offer a BE in civil engineering. Various events are conducted by different departments throughout the year, and the overall event is Procyon, which is very popular.

Our college has a good infrastructure with good facilities.
Placements: There is a minimum of 60% criteria for admission, but if you have 60% of marks or a little above, you will not get a chance to choose college and your favourite course. So, you will be in the last position, and the remaining seats will be allotted to you. The placement criterion is good compared to other colleges in Goa. The fee is also decent but not very high and not very low. More than 80% of students got internships wherever they wanted. Placements are a little tough, so you need to be prepared.
Infrastructure: The food served here is good, and Wi-Fi facilities are available. The elevator is available, and there are indoor and outdoor sports grounds. There is a separate basketball court and a digital library. Labs are available for all branches, and you have to do a project in the last semester, which is good. All the latest technologies have been used. The 3D printer is available. There is a good parking facility.
Faculty: The difficulty level of exams depends on students. If they study well and understand the concept, they can pass all semesters. They make students industry-ready. Teachers here are well qualified and PhD holders. In most of the branches, staff members are good.
Other: The best thing about our course is gaining knowledge about various industries as well as I can learn different subjects from any branch because mechanical branch students can be suitable to any industry. Everything is fine and better about my course. In every odd semester, events were organised. The fest is organised, and scholarships are provided to every student who is eligible.

Overall, it is a good college with decent facilities and good teachers.
Placements: In DBCE, the number of admissions available for the mechanical course is 120 compared to other branches like civil, computer and electronics, which have 60 admissions. However, many students got placements from computer engineering branch followed by mechanical and electronics in the previous year. Our college has a dedicated training and placement cell, which helps to prepare the students for their job interviews. Until now, companies like Amazon Pune, IBM Bangalore, Tata Consultancy Services, etc., have visited our college for placements. Students got placements in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai (where maximum number of mechanical students got placed) and Goa as well. The lowest salary package offered so far was 2.4 LPA, while the highest salary package offered has been 10 LPA, and it was offered by Byju's. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus has adequate infrastructure and is well spread. The campus is not the best but is relatively decent and has facilities like Wi-Fi (only in the main college building), canteen ( which serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian), washrooms on every floor, etc. There are many labs for all the branches, but classrooms have very basic furniture like wooden desks and benches and also have primitive blackboards. There are also very good sports facilities like a football ground (both turf as well as hard surface), a basketball court, a badminton court, table tennis, etc. But, students rarely get a chance to use these facilities, so I suggest you not to put high hopes. Our college has many labs and workshops like welding, cutting, fitting, and they are very well-equipped. There is also a library on the campus which houses all the required books for the course material. Students are also offered the option to take photocopies of only certain pages or notes. The food served in the canteen is pretty decent, and the rates are also reasonable (a few things are a little costly for what they are worth). There is no hostel service in our college, so students who need accommodation will have to use a paying guest facility, etc. A worthy thing about the infrastructure is that there is an organisation called Fiire which houses a state of the art facility within the campus to promote and help setup startups or ideas among the students in the form of workspace, advice, capital, etc.
Faculty: There is a good number of teachers in every branch. For the mechanical engineering branch, teachers are good and teach well. Some of them use projectors as well in their classes, and they also provide the students with notes. The course curriculum for our batch has been revamped to meet the standards of the AICTE syllabus and has a different grading system. The new syllabus has also decreased the number of subjects in the first year from 6 to 4, which decreases the burden on students and provides more free time to pursue other side courses as well. The aim of the new syllabus is to make sure that the students are better prepared and well-equipped for the industry.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in pursuing engineering in the field of automobiles. I also wanted an overall mechanical course, and also automobile engineering isn't offered as a separate course. So far, the teaching faculty members of our college are decent, and the practical aspect which includes welding, cutting metal, etc., of the subject, provide a lot of fun. The crowd in our college is not the best specifically in the mechanical branch, and even there are 120 admissions only for mechanical in engineering. So, a lot of students have joined for the heck of it. However, it is not an issue and shouldn't affect you because if you focus, you'll be pretty well. The campus organises only 2 events for the first-year students, but as you reach higher semesters, there will be a lot of events. Our college is also quite involved in events outside the campus, and teachers put efforts in letting students know about these events. In terms of scholarships, there are 3 TFW (tuition fee waiver) admissions for every branch, and these are obtained during the rounds on the basis of merit. This opportunity reduce fees in the range of 7,000 to 8,500 per semester. So I will suggest you to focus on it during every round.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am from the mechanical department, and many students were recruited in various reputed companies like Tradeocean Ship Management, IBM, Wipro, Persistent Systems etc. The highest salary package offered by Byju's is 10 LPA. Many students from our class want to be marine engineers.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the required facilities. Classes are like old school. For conducting welding and carpentry workshops, they provide separate classes. They have Jio Wi-Fi facility which is spread across the campus. The college has a canteen which caters good food to all the students.
Faculty: Teachers in Don Bosco are fantastic. They are very helpful and teach what is required, other than that we are connected through technology. I don't think the course makes students industry-ready. We have 4 subjects to learn, and apart from that, we learn from Swayam app which gives us honours.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to learn about product designing. The college organises events named Procyon and Inspirus.
