I don't know much about placements, and I have never gone through it too, So, you need to prepare yourself for higher studies to get better opportunities.

Reality of Dr. AITD college, very bad experienced.
Placements: In my course, placement scope is relatively low; there is no fixed pattern. The lowest package is also very low, and year by year it's becoming worse. The highest package is too rare. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro, and maybe new emerging companies. There is no real placement scope in my college.
Infrastructure: This college is a low-class government college. Nothing is special about this college. Wi-Fi is there, but the speed is like there is no internet connection. The condition of classrooms and washrooms is not hygienic. There is no hostel facility, and the campus is also too small, about 15 acres. There is no proper ground to play any sports.
Faculty: Teachers are good if you are good in front of them; then they will talk politely. They are totally strict to AKTU syllabus. The syllabus is too outdated. Passing percentage is 3 percent and not much is taught. Every subject has 5 units. From this syllabus, students are not ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this college because this college is 4th ranking in UP engineering colleges. My suggestion is that skill courses must be added apart from the college syllabus. In my college, small events are conducted every month.

The dark reality of this college is very disappointing.
Placements: In my course, college placement is too low and placement in other branches is comparatively good. The package range of placement is about 1-5 to 5-6 LPA. The top recruiting company is TCS, a new emerging company. In my college, nobody gets an internship from this college, but we can apply off-campus.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, the college is old, and the building is getting too old. Wi-Fi facilities are available, but the speed is too slow. The classroom is not in good condition, and the bathroom is also not good. The library is there, but all the students go to the library only for self-study. Hostel facilities are not available. The canteen is there, but not too active. Only a single ground is there where students spend only 1 month in the entire year.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful, they only try to complete their syllabus. AKTU syllabus is good, but nobody takes it seriously. All the students study just 1 week before the exam, and the rest of the time, they either boost their skills or spoil their time.
Other: I chose this course because of my childhood dream. The best thing about this course is that we can choose any path apart from the B.Tech. My suggestion is that a skills course must be added to the syllabus so that students can participate. This college has a fest, but only an annual fest and in the middle of the year, a tech fest is organised only by the students of the 3rd year. Scholarship is provided by the college. The connection of this college is too weak.

You can come only when you have no other options.
Placements: I am a chemical engineering student in AIIT Kanpur. If we talk about the placement scenario, it's not good. Very few students get placed on campus. The students who do get placed receive packages that revolve around 2, 3, or 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Rinex Technologies, Motherson, Violea Water Technologies, etc. Don't think about a paid internship; it's rare.
Infrastructure: I will give only a two-star rating because I think the worst thing in my college is the infrastructure. Wi-Fi works only in some places and it's very slow. Labs are not functional, and classrooms are in very bad condition. The library is good, but it's not very big. If we talk about sports and games, the college conducts an average (sport event) every year, and you can enjoy it. The college gives hostel accommodations only to first-year students.
Faculty: I think teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. Our college is affiliated with AKTU University for the course curriculum, and you can visit the official website of AKTU. Semester exams are not tough, but some students do get back in semester exams.

Dissatisfied with the college and the harsh reality.
Placements: In general, my college placement rate is low, and it is about 20 percent, according to previous data. The range of placement is 1 LPA to 6 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Microsoft and a new growing company. No one gets an internship from the college. Most of the students go for software engineering.
Infrastructure: My college building is too old. Lots of departments are there, but not enough for doing labs because of a lack of proper resources. In my college, the hostel is there for the girls only. And for boys, there is a private one, and it is at a distance, i.e., 4-5 km from the college campus. Mess and medical facilities are not there. There is only 1 ground where students play every game, generally in the wintertime.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but not fully qualified, and also knowledge is there, but only across the syllabus. The syllabus is too outdated and totally theoretical, and does not fit the industry. Exams are semester-wise. If a student studies just 1 week of the exam, then he/she can pass and score a good CGPA.
Other: My JEE rank is low, so I got into this college, and a plus point is that I got CSE, so I am superior to all other branches. I only want that in our syllabus, an industrial subject must be added, so that students get prepared. Only 3 college fests are there, and apart from this, some small events are also held, which are organised by the students only.

Dissatisfied with placements and infrastructure, but it is a good environment for GATE and Master's.
Placements: The college has been established since 1997, but the quality of education provided here is not as good as that of other colleges that were established around the same time. The placement rate is diminishing after COVID. Also, semesters are not getting completed at the promised timings, which is one of the reasons for students not getting industry-level experience due to a lack of time to develop skills. Even the companies that have recruited students from the on-campus placement drives have given the packages around 2-4 LPA, which shows the level of ignorance towards skills development and experience gaining.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are not maintained correctly, and sometimes it seems that the buildings have not been renovated even once after being inaugurated. Old classrooms are in a state of collapse due to algae and cracks. Even basic amenities like clean water and washrooms are like an expense here. One new building was inaugurated some months ago, but old buildings and classrooms need to be renewed. Workshop and practical labs are only equipped with instruments and devices.
Faculty: Some teachers here are helpful, but not everyone. Many faculty members are unable to convey their thoughts and understanding to the students. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but their teaching is not up to the mark. The course is getting irrelevant to the industries as the courses are not getting completed on time. Sharing one of the personal experiences of the 2nd semester, the semester started in mid-April but ended just in June, and the whole of July went into practical and theory examinations. Seriously, is 2.5 to 3 months enough for semester completion?
Other: The fees for the B.Tech course are a little low compared to some other private institutions. You will get a good environment for GATE and further studies. But the campus life is not something you would dream about. Some basics need to be improved here, and probably after some time, it will be considered a decent institute for engineering.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Divyangjan.
Placements: In AITD, placement depends on the branch-wise, like the Chemical and Biotechnology branch. All students are placed in graduation time, but Computer Science students are also placed, but in smaller numbers compared to other branches, due to a lower percentage of on-campus companies. Mostly students prepare for the GATE exam, and those who done hard work definitely succeed. Overall placement ratio is 50-60%.
Infrastructure: The AITD campus is a really lush green campus, and its buildings are so old that they require renovation. The ground is not so big, and all the labs exist, and some are workable, and some are not. Recently, a new department was created, and its classes have a capacity for a large number of students. Their infrastructure and facilities are so good. For the first year, boys and girls hostels exist, but for boys outside campus, i.e., private and for girls' hostel inside campus.
Faculty: Faculty of AITD College is knowledgeable and helpful in nature. All teachers help with project work also. In AITD, there are two mid-semester exams, and those exams are easy and scorable. End-of-semester exam head according to the affiliated university, i.e., AKTU, which is also theory-based. Easily passable 33%criteria. If students suffer from any problem, then the faculty understands the problem and helps them.
Other: AITD college events are also held, such as cultural and sports events, to relax the students after exams.
