Dr. D. Y. Patil ACS College - Empowering education in arts, commerce, and science.

Placements: 70-100% of students got placed. The lowest salary is 1 LPA. The average salary is 3 LPA - 10 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Syngenta, Capera, Capcut, Canva, Google, Amazon, AWS, and Infosys. 60-65% of students got internships at TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Capcut, Canva, and Capera. Roles offered are data analyst, junior analyst, business analyst, and network officer.

Infrastructure: It's quite good and the experience of the college is really next level. Though there is some shortage of sports and games, but the given facilities are top-notch. The quality of canteen food is also really tasty and craving. I like it and always whenever I go to eat there, I always have maggi with black coffee.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. BCA course is quite relevant for students who want to pursue any IT sector degree. Semester exams are quite easy. If you have understand the concepts of all three units, you can easily crack every semester's exams. The pass percentage is minimum of 35%.

Other: I was having less percentage in 12th, and I was weak in maths. So I chose this course because in this course maths is not mandatory. The course is really good and enthusiastic. There is no need to change anything. Though everyone in our college is focusing on our academics. So, no one gets interested in the events, fests, and all.

A Review Of a placement scenario.

Placements: Throughout my time, only 5-6 companies have visited the college, and they are mainly offering for sales and customer service associate roles. If you want a good package and placement, then don't come to this college. I've maintained an average CGPA of 9.09 but did not get a job. There are lots of colleges in Pune that give you a good opportunity and placement with very good packages. Not Recommended college.

Infrastructure: The Library is now busier and noisier than pubs in Pune. Finding a quiet spot to study is so challenging at Dr. D. Y. Patil ACS college. The constant chatter makes it hard to concentrate. It's no longer the peaceful sanctuary it once was. Do not take Admission in this college.

Faculty: Some teachers of this college are very good at their own subject but sadly the majority of teachers (70%) at this college fall short in delivering education. And what is the use of good teaching staff when the college doesn't have placement. Please think about your future and choose a good college and good education. DY Patil is just for fun in college life.

Infrastructure is good; well maintained laboratories; placement is average.

Placements: Placement cell of my college is average. 40% students get placed every year. Companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro offers placement. The highest and the lowest package offered is 3-4 LPA. College doesn't offer any internship.

Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good. Students have permission to access the computer lab and library, but free wi-fi is not available. Canteen is also not available, only coffee shop is available. The college conducts events like traditional day, camps and importance is given to sports also.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Two unit tests are conducted in a semester, and proper assignment, activities and practical knowledge are provided. Semester exams are easy, if we study well. After completing the course, students can join as software engineer, web developer, etc.

Other: One best thing about this course is, it focuses mainly on increasing the practical knowledge of the students. Campus crowd is also good. Surrounding is good, and other facilities like parking and playing zone are also good enough. Scholarship is available.

If anyone is willing to do courses like BCA and B.Sc, they can take admission to this college.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Mahindra. Internships are not offered at this college. The top role offered is software developer.

Infrastructure: This college has the best infrastructure. It has free access to Wi-Fi for students. Laboratory is well-developed. Classrooms are well-maintained. A library is also available. I am a day scholar so I do not know about hostel facilities. But I heard from friends that the hostels are better. Medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is good to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate in this college. The pass percentage is 50%.

Review of Dr. D.Y. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. The reputation is high but no special placements are offered for students. There are no recruiting companies in this course. The top role offered is software engineer.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in our college. The campus is small. Wi-Fi is not enabled on our campus. The laboratory is very good. Classrooms are not good. There are no projectors in our classrooms. It also provides a good library. Several books are available in our library. E-books are provided, and hostels are not available. We have PGs nearby our campus.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated, helpful, and supportive. The teaching quality is better. They always clear our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate, and are conducted by our university.

Other: I chose this course because there is no maths subject in it. This course is for programming languages. Our college should add many programs for students. Around 20-30% of students visit this college regularly.

It is an average college.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are less. Mass recruiters visit our college but students don't get placements on campus. They try for off-campus placements. Most students go for higher education. Internships are less. It is not a good college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided for students. The infrastructure of our college is average. Classrooms are well maintained. Library is average to study and has limited academic books. Hostel and mess are expensive which is like a 5-star hotel.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. Their communication skills are good. The course curriculum is good to get practical knowledge.

Other: I chose this course to learn about computers. This course provides more practical knowledge.
