- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses has concluded. Results are scheduled for release on Mar 19, 2026.

Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology Pune does not offer direct admission. Candidates need to first registration for accepted entrance exam followed by MHT CET CAP for UG and PG courses. Admission to BE is based on JEE Main or MHT CET scores whereas, GATE or MHT CET M.Tech is considered for ME courses. Besides, aspirants who are applying for Diploma programmes do not have to appear for an entrance exam. They are selected based on their merit in the last qualifying exam.

A minimum of 50% in Class 12 (or its equivalent) is required to meet the eligibility requirements for the B.Tech programme at the Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology. As a result, you are fulfill the requirements for admission to the institute for a B.Tech programme with a 60% in Class 12. However, it should kept in mind that JEE Main or MAHCET scores are also a requirement for admission to the B.Tech program. As such, it is very crucial to perform well in this JEE or MAHCET entrance paper .How well you will perform in this admission tests, that much good branch will you got in B.Tech.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.Tech AT Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology:-
- Candidate should be an Indian National.
