Okay, good, but some staff are in favor of someone.
Placements: Only 50% of students get placed in my batch. They have offered jobs to every person, but the jobs are not related to the course. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. This is very low for my course. They do not concentrate on internships for my batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, but I do not recommend the hostel. There is no Wi-Fi available for students. Mobile phones are not allowed on campus. The sports facilities are good. The canteen food is good, but the canteen space is very small for the entire engineering campus. It is not good at all.
Faculty: Some faculty members are friendly, and others seem to favor certain people. Some friendly faculty members are like brothers and sisters. They help us a lot. The course curriculum is relevant. It is difficult, but with learning, we can clear the subjects.
Other: Many events, such as DJ nights are conducted in the college. We can enjoy the vibe on festival days.

Review of E.G.S. Pillay Engineering College.
Placements: More than 60% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, MuSigma, Ridsys, Infoview Telecommunications and Tech Mahindra visited the campus for placements. Roles like java developer, programmer, network admin, network analyst and production line were offered. About 20% of the students got internships in companies like BSNL, GAIL and ONGC.
Infrastructure: The campus was Wi-Fi enabled, and it was available to all the labs. There were a digital library and separate libraries for each department. There were separate and compound bound hostels for both girls and boys. Separate canteens were available for the hostellers and day scholars. Fresh food and other packaged edibles readily made were available for students. The stationary essentials and other necessary daily essentials are available in stock for students.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. They were always ready to reach out to students and help them to overcome their academic and other problems. They prepare from the study materials and reference materials available for the students. They teach elegantly. The college follows the curriculum of Anna University for all the courses, and often encourage students to join in various kinds of industry-related internships and camps.
Other: I chose this course because electronics and communication engineering is one of the fast-growing industries in today's industrial scenario. On completion of the course, opportunities to work both in IT and manufacturing industries are available. There were students club and entrepreneurship club. Scholarships were available for eligible students.

A college which offers you a good, strict and safe environment to study and enjoy the college life.
Placements: Placements were good enough. Almost 100% of all clear students got placed. Also, the students with 3 to 5 arrears also got placed. Placements are all about the students' stuff and involvement in the studies and placement point of views. Companies like Wipro, Hexaware, HGS etc visited the campus with core and non-core vacancies. Students also got placed in CTS, TCS, HCL, Sify, IBM etc throughout the campus arrangements provided by our college. The students are designated as Engineer trainee, Software Developer, Associate Developer, Tech Support Executive etc based on their skills. The top-most package as far as I know is 5 LPA, the average is from 1.8 LPA to 3 LPA and the least is 1.2LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi access will be good but sometimes won't work as a normal free Wi-Fi. Labs, classrooms and libraries are well-facilitated, good and clean enough.
The food will be good enough in the canteen but something will make it as a normal canteen. Nothing special.
The hostel will be normal and not bad, but the infrastructure will be good and enough. Sports and Games are based on the students' interest.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated, knowledgeable and they will be more helpful on all the aspects related to curricular activities.
The teaching methods will be through board, lecture, PPT, EduSat and seminar based on the requirement.
Industrial visits will be there only once.
As it is affiliated to Anna University, the curriculum will be based on that only.

Placements: Now a days many companies are came for drive. And many of the Information technology companies and start up companies are came for drive and even the core companies are also came for the interview. But try to improve and get more companies for drive for the students .
Infrastructure: It's very super classrooms are much spacious and free and each and every class has projector and campus have Wi-Fi facility so it's very to access and incase of any doubts it's easy to check and verify. Labs are also very much clean and neat maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable persons in our college and specifically in our ECE department most of the staffs are teaching with a real time examples so the students are easy to catch the concept and theories and mainly staffs are so much friendly so we can easily gel with them and ask about the subject.

Faculty: Teachers teach the subjects only during their period. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. Semester examinations are difficult and strictly conducted. Students obtain a good pass percentage if they study well.
