B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027
5.0
One of the best budget-friendly colleges, with job opportunities, and a great environment.
Placements: One of the best campuses in Haryana to pursue B.Tech. Healthy environment and good jobs. The placement scenario for the CSE branch here is excellent. In our batch, I would say around 85-90 percent of students who sat for placements got placed. The college's placement cell works tirelessly from the third year itself. The salary packages are very encouraging. The highest package went to a remarkable 50.5 LPA (an exceptional off-campus placement), while the lowest is around 3.5 LPA. The average package for our CSE branch is comfortable between 5.5 LPA and 6 LPA, which is a fantastic start. Top recruiting companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is genuinely one of the best things about Echelon. For our CSE department, the computer labs are modern, fully air-conditioned, and equipped with the latest software and high-speed internet. The Wi-Fi coverage across the academic blocks and the library is reliable. Classrooms are all smart with projectors, which makes learning interactive. The central library is huge and has a massive collection of books and digital resources.
Faculty: This is where Echelon truly wings. The teachers are not just qualified, they are mentors. I remember being completely stuck on a complex Data Structures concept, and one of our professors stayed back for over an hour after college just to explain it to me one-on-one. They are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent and very practical.
Other: Great experience with a limited budget, all types of facilities provided.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements are quite good but the packages are also good as compared to other colleges. Most students got internships from their course and the fact that a lot of companies are recruiting students means there is a better chance for your future career.
Infrastructure: The hostel was good and the infrastructure is also very nice. Labs, classrooms and libraries are also well maintained. Their canteen is also good, which means they maintain a good hygiene environment. Sports facilities are also getting better. The medical facility is also good.
Faculty: Semester exams are too hard and competitive. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They put in their full efforts to teach their students in a good way, but the management is too strict, so a peaceful environment is maintained on campus.
Other: They hold events every year three times, and they organize many events.

Good infrastructure but lacks employment and development opportunities for students.
Placements: Placements were not very good (at least when I graduated). Average package offered by the companies during the placements were around 2 lakhs. The companies which used to visit the college were not very known or credible in terms of their market presence and value.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise the institute has all the facilities. The quality of labs and classrooms are good when compared to the other engineering college nearby. The games and sports facilities were also good and very much supported by the college curriculum.
Faculty: Faculty and course curriculum were above average. The faculty were quite supportive in terms of doubt solving and further guidance regarding the subject or the field of study. The industry exposure and the actual requirements by the industry for the employment opportunities were good.

Totally dissatisfied in terms of placements and teaching.
Placements: Placements in the college are not up to the mark. Hardly, 3-4 companies came for placements, and most of them were call centres or offered non-technical profiles. Only a few students got jobs with very low salary packages. Placements are very poor for some courses like mechanical and electronics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Because of the infrastructure, many people think that it's a good college in terms of learning and placements too, but it's not true. You will get all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc. All extracurricular activities like sports events, annual meet, and fest are conducted here.
Faculty: When I joined in 2012, there were some good and highly qualified teachers, but many of them left the college later on. Now, the college is not up to the mark in terms of teachers and teaching. There will hardly be any good faculty members now. The course curriculum was okay.
Other: The campus crowd was not good.

Dissatisfied with the teaching quality of our faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college are not at all good. Around 2-3 companies visit the college, and that to all are the call centres. They want you to do the night shift. The salaries offered are also very minimal. Don't go by the infrastructure as the placements are hoax here. Not even a single student of our batch got placed from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the only thing that this college has. But the infrastructure which is shown everywhere is for the promotion of the college. The classrooms are good and huge which can accomodate many students. The canteen is also good. The labs that are available in the college are helpful and have all the equipment which are required.
Faculty: There are hardly any good teachers left when I joined college back in 2012. Faculty teachers in our college were very good, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality degraded after 2013, as the management was taken over by some good living organisation. There is nothing left in college.

Review of Echelon Institute of Technology.
Placements: The college doesn't provide many placements. Only 2-3 companies visited the college, that too for BPO and call centre roles. Some companies visited for mechanical and CS students, but all the rest of the departments have zero placements. Companies demanded night shifts, offering a minimum salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi, library, canteen and classrooms are good. The canteen needs some maintenance. Instruments in labs are not maintained well and are in poor working conditions. Students cannot learn anything from them.
Faculty: Faculty members were good enough during my tenure, but as I heard now, the faculty members are not good. So, I suggest you know about it before taking admission. I am from the batch of 2012-16, and the college was quite good at that time, but it has degraded much as heard from juniors.

Good infrastructure but the institute does not have enough resources for their students placement.
Placements: The placement during our bath and that of our seniors were not very positive and hence majority of the students from our batch had to attempt for the offcampus placement drives. Also, for the internship, students were to apply on tier own and the summer internship were not be provided by the institute.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise the institute was good. It had all the necessary state of the art infrastructure to support the needs and requirements of the students keeping in view the curriculum of the engineering college. Further in order to keep aligned with the changing industry demand the institute kept on updating their Infrastructure.
Faculty: Course and faculty in respect to the engineering curriculum and the syllabus was competent. Further the institute always ensured the overall development of tier students and hence werw active in organizing various events and activities from time to time for the students.

Not a good option to choose. This college is not good for your future.
Placements: At the time of admission I wad told that this college is certified from various organisations and the placement here is so good. They told me that there are various famous companies from all fields come here for placements. But since I have joined the college there have not been a single big or famous company that visited this college. The only companies that come for placements are small companies and mostly call centres. I am from ECE branch and I have seen that no company from my field has come for placements in this college since 2 years and there are more. So all I want to say is the placement in thia college is not good.
Infrastructure: The only thing that attracts about this college is that it has a far better infrastructure from many other colleges. The campus is good enough to attract the new comers. Looks like a foreign college but the facilities are not good. There is sports room but not equipment in it. There is music room but only few instruments there and we are not even allowed to learn them. The look of the college is amazing but such a lonely and boring place. They don't have any medical facility in college. Some of the equipments in labs are not working. Old computers in CS labs which don't support the required software. Wi-Fi is available but u get only 20 mb per day. This is just an illusion. Its just attractive for eyes but can't colour our future.
Faculty: At the time of admission I was told that I will get a separate teacher for every subject as well as lab assistants for every lab. But all I can see is that those who are in management department are the one who are teaching. When they get busy during admission process we get substitue teachers which ruin the flow of studying. When I joined this college there were some amazing teachers but they all left. Now there are only 2-3 left in my branch. Moreover currently there are only 3 teachers in civil department and 6 subjects. The same goes with lab assistants also. Student-faculty ratio is not good. Teachers are not practical. They don't have practical knowledge. They teach just for the sake of completing the syllabus.
Other: There were events that were held in this college, celbreties and singers like Guru Randhawa, Hardy Sandhu, Raftaar have also visited the college. We used to have cultural fest every year but from this year I don't think there would be any cultural event. So I just wanna say that this college was good earlier like 4-5 years back but now its not good enough.
