Infrastructure: In my college, the infrastructure looks more natural. The Wi-Fi is accessible for all students and staff. Labs and classrooms look clean. The library also looks peaceful and beautiful. The hostel facilities in my college, the food quality is good and also tasty and then 24/7 medical facilities. The management conducts sports day and many more activities for the students.

Review of Francis Xavier Engineering College.

Placements: Around 40-50% of students got placed in previous batch with the highest salary package of 18 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top Recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and Zoho. Students who scored 7.5 CGPA in our course got placed at companies like Infosys and Wipro. Full sack developed is a top roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure in the main place (Vannarpettai ) with a bus facility. They provide Wi-Fi for all labs and departments. There are 21 labs in our college. Classrooms are very neat. There is a library with all engineering books. The hostel is small but it has good rooms and bathrooms. We have a volleyball court in the center of the hostel.

Faculty: The college has experienced faculty members with good knowledge. They completed their M.E in ORU College. They don't have much knowledge and experience. The course curriculum is less relevant and it doesn't make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not that tough because it an autonomous college.

Other: I chose this college in counseling because now computer science is an emerging platform.

A good and trustworthy review about college from student who is pursuing degree at the same college.

Placements: 50% of students will be placed in my college. The highest package is 17.5 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting company for my course is TCS, but the number of students getting internships will be low, about 20% in TCS. Software Development Engineer is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the structure of the infrastructure are pretty good. There is Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms with projectors, and a library that has free access to IEEE. There is seperate building available for library that make us feel peaceful while reading books in library.

Faculty: Senior teachers are very helpful in guiding our careers, and the new teachers are not that good. They don't have any knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. But they provide a chance to make us industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is average.

Other: I chose this course by seeing the vast opportunities and future in this field. The things I expect to improve about my course are that the college should hire new teachers through a correct interview process, and check them for their capabilities to teach an engineering student. Events and fests are pretty good, and sports are treated special for those who are interested.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty, but campus life is disappointing.

Placements: According to the college, placement will be provided based on our skills. Top companies like TCS, IBM, and Infosys will recruit from our college for placements. They will provide us jobs related to our courses.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is in moderate condition. The classrooms in our college should be enlarged because they are congested. Wi-Fi is available all over our campus, but it should be free for students, as it is password-protected. The library is important, and it is wide enough to satisfy the students.

Faculty: Exams will be conducted in an orderly manner. Each year has two semesters, and there are a total of eight semesters for the four-year bachelor's degree. The faculty members in our college are well-trained and professional. They have completed their Ph.D. degrees.

Other: I have chosen BE in CSE. The faculty in our department are good and friendly.

Review of Francis Xavier Engineering College.

Placements: In our college, the past batch of 80% students got placement. The highest package was one student got 16 Lacs per year, and the lowest was 8 Lacs per year. The top recruiting companies were Zoho, TCS, and many companies. Every student will get internship at their 3rd year of college.

Infrastructure: The atmosphere of our college was very good, and we have very friendly faculty members and good teachers. We also have a big space to play cricket volleyball, and every month they conduct competitions for extracurricular activities. We also have a gym as well as two big libraries.

Faculty: Our teachers have 20 years experience and are very good at teaching, and if you chose computer science, it was the best course and the best faculty was there. We have 100% placements for the computer science students, so it is easy to pass in every semester exam.

Other: Every year, the passing batch will get placements.

Student's Perspective on Our College.

Placements: First of all, CGPA is not important; skill is the most important. This is the main advice in our college. You have to develop a skill, as it will be useful. I heard that about 85% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered here is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. CGPA above 7.5 will be needed to get a better placement.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is given to all of our students when needed. In the hostel, there is always free Wi-Fi, but the food is a little disappointing. The food is not as tasty as we expected. The main advantage in the college hostel is we can form a good friendship circle. The warden is strict in our college; we can't come back before 6 pm in the evening.

Faculty: Teachers are well trained and good, but fees are very high in our college. Semester fees are asked again, which is also a little problem. They ask for course and semester fees separately, but the teachers are very friendly with us. Semester fees will increase due to our subject, and 350 rupees will be charged for each subject.

Other: CSE got more placements than other departments, so I chose this course. It is really a good course. My suggestion is we should involve AI in CSE because it plays an important role nowadays. Our college conducts many events, functions, and festivals, which are very enjoyable. They also give importance to sports. I am a chess player, and I got 1st place in the 1st year and 3rd place in the 2nd year in the zonal tournament because of our college.
