Q:   What is the average BTech Computer Science Engineering salary in India?
A: 

The average BTech CSE salary for graduates in India can range between INR 4 LPA and INR 12 LPA. The scope of the BTech CSE programme in India is excellent and hence the starting salary packages offered by recruiters are also high as compared to some other engineering courses.

The salary depends on factors like the years of experience you hold, your academic qualification, skill set, etc. Once you enter the industry and get some years of experience in hand, you will get a higher salary package. But, in the starting of your career journey, you can expect between INR 4 LPA and INR 6 LPA.

Q:   Is the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus the same for all colleges?

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. Placements: The placement offers are based on the CGPA and the average score of the students. Students with a CGPA of around 7 or more have more chances to get placement offers. The highest package a student got from our college is about 14 LPA. The placement is majorly dependent on the skills and presence of mind of the students; otherwise, the overall placement of the college is average or better than average.
Infrastructure: I live in the hostel, so I don't know exact information about it, but the students who live in the hostel have given good feedback about the hostel facility and mess. Also, the food quality of the mess is above average, meaning the food is good, and Wi-Fi is also available 24/7. Our college also participates in and organises various sports events and tournaments in different sports like basketball, football, cricket, and many more sports.
Faculty: The all teacher of this college are Ph.D. holder and the experienced the teaching techniques and quality is easy to understand all teaching staff is supportive and disciplined the difficult level of semester exam is medium the college teaching doesn't make you industry ready you have to build your skill by yourself .

Placements: Recently, around 5 students were offered a PPO of 5 LPA from our college. Around 16 students were seated in placement grounds, so yes, there is placement, but not that high. If you are good enough, you will get an offer, but if you don't, you might face problems after the 4th year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very good, and the hostel has its own separate Wi-Fi. The classrooms are normal. Some have big screens, but normally, it's for 4th year students. The library is very good. The campus is not that big, but it has an ambulance, gym, cafeteria, etc. It is average.
Faculty: Faculty tend to help us very much, but students really don't approach them. The exam and syllabus are nearly outdated and should be updated, but yes, they follow the guidelines of AICTE. You can see that every college has the same syllabus, so it's not just a board college.
Other: The college has a fest, and we hosted the biggest event recently at Khandesh University. You can consider that we have some events, but not that many.

Placements: Placement is based on CGPA and is average, and recently, a 5 LPA offer was made to 5 students from our college. If you have skills, the college has placement opportunities, and the highest package is 14 LPA, placement is not excellent, but it is generally good. Go for it.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but what I hear so far about it is good. The infrastructure in college is not so big, but good and small. I love the college. I don't personally know about the hostels inside and the mess till now, but my friend said it was average.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They teach very well in Hindi, Marathi, and English. They support us well in our studies, but you should be respectful towards them; they are not so strict. Exams are conducted in a well-mannered way, and results are published within 10 days.
Other: Events are conducted with planning and executed well, but if you expect that the event will be very good.

Decent campus, average placements.
Placements: I belong to the 2026 passing-out batch from B.Tech Data Science. Around 60 percent of students get placed. The highest package is about 8 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro hire students. Many students also do internships in good startups.
Infrastructure: Our Data Science department has spacious classrooms, decent labs, Wi-Fi, and a library with good books. Hostel rooms are clean, mess food is average, and the canteen has snacks. Medical facilities are basic, and sports options like cricket, football, and indoor games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is average. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is around 70–75 percent. Some practical skills are taught, but more hands-on projects would help.
Other: More information should be provided to students who are curious about the subject. The campus should be larger like an NIT.
