Good college and facilities at a good price.

Placements: The placement is quite good in Gandhi Engineering College. The average package of civil department is 3.5 LPA. But for the Computer Science students, the package is higher than this. Around 70% of the student got placement as well as internship from college itself.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. They provide a lot of facilities like free Wi-Fi, library, digital classroom, and many more. Talking about the hostel, the hostel facility is secure and clean to live but the mess could be better. In my college, they provide sports and games facility also.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, knowledgeable and also able to deliver and share their knowledge. The quality of teaching by faculty members is satisfactory. Yes, this course curriculum is quite relevant and helpful to build a career as a civil engineer.

It is an average college for hardworking students.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students from our batch got placed in various companies, with an adequate salary package. Packages depend upon the branch of engineering and companies, at most students got a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month in IT and marketing companies and in the core, it was around Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 per month. Some of the companies were good enough like Cognizant, Simplex Infrastructure and Tech Mahindra. Some of the students also got selected in TCS via the exams conducted and all. Average students got selected with a little bit of hard work. The college took the salary for the first month of the candidates who were selected.

Infrastructure: In civil engineering branch, there were 6 different labs like geotechnical lab, material testing lab, survey lab, transportation lab, fluid mechanics lab, RCC lab, and various other labs according to the subjects in the semester. The campus was fully Wi-Fi enabled, and the campus had quite a good library with academic and non-academic books, enough to read. Reading and studying space was well enough, which also included E-library equipped with a sufficient number of computers. Even the campus included a central mess, a well-spaced concert hall, gym and sports grounds. Even there were parks and all for sitting in off time. Hostel and hostel food was moderately fine.

Faculty: There was quite a healthy environment for studying, as the teachers were well educated and trained. Moreover, they took care of us pretty well. The syllabus was completed within the time, with a few exceptions. The course curriculum was pretty relevant, but any extraordinary things were not happening. External and internal industrial training and seminars are conducted for providing extra knowledge to students.

Other: Civil engineering was the course of my interest due to its subjects, field of study, and relevancy to the environment. I wish they could have provided more exposure to the work and gave training sessions for that. Even the environment could be more enthusiastic such that students can do things out of the box.

Good infrastructure as well as placement section.

Placements: Among all colleges in Bhubaneswar gandhi engineering college is known for his successful placement. More than 94% of total students are placed every year. Most of IT companies comes for placement in this college. The highest package offered in placement is 600000pa and the lowest is 200000 pa.

Infrastructure: Gandhi engineering college is one of the most beautiful college in Bhubaneswar it is also known for its best infrastructure among all the colleges in Odisha State. This college is not less than from any five star hotel from its both interior and exterior look. 24*7 Wi-Fi facility is available to all parts inside the campus. For day scholar as well as hostelite Central mess facility is available inside the campus. College has its own different grounds for different sports football cricket basketball and many more. All time one doctor is always available inside the campus for any medical emergency as well as ambulance facility also.

Faculty: Among all colleges in Bhubaneswar Gandhi engineering college has most experience as well as friendly staff and faculty. Some of the faculty is highly educated and experienced which helps the student in every way possible. College has its own rules and regulations which helps the student to clear their doubts whenever they need at anytime whenever they want.

Other: I have choose civil engineering because I love field work. I wish to improve more and more practical things because in the civil engineering practical and practicals helps the students to learn the basic things which is not possible by simply reading the books.

Gandhi Engineering College organised pre placement training for the first year second year and third year so that every student should be prepared for the placement and different competition in the feature.

Infrastructure: Among all the colleges in Orissa Gandhi Engineering College is known for best infrastructure. As this college provides the students a natural and clean environment. This college provide student service like any five star hotel from both interior and exterior. It contain sufficient space for relaxation and different sports activities inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members of Gandhi Engineering College is known for their service the most experienced faculty members are available in the campus as comparison to other colleges. Devastated placement department. You can't learn engineering here, but can get only certificates.

Placements: Coming to placements, it is totally devastated. Management is making their students fools. More than 15 companies came to recruit students from this campus, but I am feeling very shameful to say that more than 90% of them are fake. All the students suffered after joining the companies and rest didn't get the offer letter even after paying ten thousand rupees as placement fees.

Infrastructure: Coming to the infrastructure, it is above average. Good classrooms, library and labs are available, but sports and gaming facilities are biased. No grounds are there for practice, that's why we couldn't make ourselves for state-level games. Due to the lack of practice, we couldn't get qualified for the next level in the games. Really, it is a disappointing thing.

Faculty: Regarding faculty members, I can say that in our time, all the faculty members were very good, but later, the college management fired all of them and recruited new faculty members only because the old one couldn't complete the referral of engineering students. The new ones are graduates and have no experience in teaching so they are unable to teach properly.

Other: Events, fests, campus surroundings, scholarships all are very good. There are no issues in this criteria. All the students get chance to take part in events, fests etc.
