I am glad to be a part of GMIT.

Placements: Above 80% of the students get placed at the end of their course. The average salary package offered in core engineering branches is 1.6 LPA, but for branches like ECE and CSE, it is less. Companies like L&T, Gammon India and Shapoorji Pallonji visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in our college, and we get the opportunity to access Wi-Fi services for free of cost. Labs are well maintained with all updated instruments. The quality of the food served in the canteen is well enough, and facilities available in the hostel are up to the mark.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, whether in subject-related matters or college-related matters. They teach us in a very effective manner so that we can understand easily. Besides offline studies, they conduct online examinations for us. They not only teach in a theoretical way but also teach in a practical way so that we can deal with industrial things.

Other: The main reason for me to choose civil engineering is to become a proper civil engineer and work for society. Cultural festival, tech fest and different occasions are celebrated in our college.

Placements: During the course 20 percent students got placed. Rest student will be placed after the Pandemic situation is over, Career Delevolpment cell extended the placement drive period upto December due to thi pandemic situation. 40 percent student got internship in software company and 10 percent student got internship in construction site.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good for every department of college. In library, variety of books relevant to course are available which will issued as per student demand for 14 days In civil department, all instruments for lab tests are available .

Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable which makes student easy to learn the subject. This course curriculum is relevant which makes student ready for industry. Grooming classes are also available for students for personality development which helps students ready to face any kind of interview.

Other: I chose this course because in this course, all theoretical knowledge is easily seen in practical field. If in every end semester, industry visit is available then it would become more interesting about the subject. Fest is also organised by student in every year with the help of college management. Variety of scholarship are available for students.
