I am satisfied with the college, and there is a good infrastructure.

Placements: Almost every student got an opportunity to get placed, and it depends on students whether they want that opportunity or not. The salary package offered is around 1.5 LPA to 10 LPA. Civilbaba is the top company in civil engineering. Almost 80% of the students get internships in house, labs, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and facilities in the hostel are awesome than other colleges of NCR. Everything was there and with good Wi-Fi facilities, labs, and classrooms with smart technology, library, etc. Everything was good and satisfying in the college hostel, mess, sports and medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers here are supportive and helpful in all the ways whether they are related to academics or others. They always support us by providing the best guidance and experience. They are a good mentor to us, and they also want us to become a successful engineer.

Other: I have chosen this course as I want to be a civil engineer. There may be good private placements. The campus crowd is low, but the quality is the best.

Overall, the college is satisfactory for an average student who is here for doing just engineering.

Placements: There are enough placements. If you're in top 3 students in the class, industrial visits are there for all the students after starting of the 2nd year. Just make sure to be clear in all the subjects to sit in the interview, so that you can place in any company.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is best in whole Sonepat. You can't find better infrastructure than this outside Delhi, which includes football ground, cricket ground, volleyball court, basketball court, and beautiful gardens all over the campus. The canteen food is nice, and it is better than normal canteens.

Faculty: The faculty members are good, but not great. The faculty are good enough. The civil faculty are great, and they are one of the best, fun loving, and you can't get bored in the classes. All are those are sportspersons too. The mechanical faculty is strict and have the deep knowledge of their subjects. The electrical faculty are good. They are mostly sober and straightforward. The computer science faculty are really good at their subjects, and at the same time, they are very strict.

Other: It is fully air-conditioned. We have events, and sports meet in the college. There is a murthal paratha in lunch with friends.

A fair review of GIET, being a student of this college.

Placements: The placement chances are very rare as few companies come to the college. So on that behalf, the college is just not that good where someone could build his/her future, and the companies which come in the college for placements are not that reputed, so for placements, it is not a good option.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good and getting better day by day, so no complaints regarding the infrastructure as I have seen worse in some colleges, and in comparison with that, the college has a good infrastructure, and there is room for development. So, it is a good choice if the infrastructure is your priority.

Faculty: The teachers are friendly, but some of them are very rude, and that has changed the relationship between students and teachers. Some of the teachers were good and had great knowledge where some of them were below average. Overall, we had some trip to the industrial area where we went to the yakut factory and some others. Overall, I would rate as average faculty.

Other: The college ground is not big by any means what so ever, and the ground is for school students as the campus has architecture wing and hotel management and international school, so overall, the sports department does not meet the expectations of a college student. The faculty is not that good so that I would rate as average college. I would recommend this college not to join as there are better options outside the campus.
