Admission to GIM Goa is entrance-based. Candidates must first apply for admission via online mode. The selection process for PGDM course, includes XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, candidates must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. FPM admission is based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ JRF and other score followed by a personal interview round. Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.

GIM Goa admission process involves registration, selection rounds and admission confirmation. Candidates need to qualify national-level Management entrance exams for selection. GAAT is GIM Aptitude Test conducted by the institute for admission to PGDM BDA and PGDM BDA + MSc in Business Analytics. Candidates need to register by paying application fee. Once entrance exam is conducted, selected candidates need to come for a personal interview round. After selection, aspirants need to pay the programme fee to confirm seat.

The total tuition fees of PGDM course ranges between INR 5.3 lakh and INR 19.4 lakh. The application fee ranges between INR 1,750 and INR 3,000 plus GST depending on the time of application for one or two courses. The fee increases, if a candidates applies for more than two courses.

GIM accepts CAT Scores for admission to the various PGDM courses. GIM CAT cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff differs as per the PGDM specialisatons for the open AI category candidates. Wherein, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM was the most competitive course with a Last Round percentile of 95 for the General AII India category students

The GIM GOA CAT Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to its MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates seeking admission should have a valid CAT Cutoff to be able to avail a seat at this institute. The CAT Cutoff 2024 for the PGDM in Healthcare Management course was at 88 percentile for all categories under the All India quota. 

GIM Goa offers a full-time four-year residential Fellowship Programme in Management. The courses at the GIM Goa are offered in various specialisations. Admission to the FPM course is based on CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ CSIR NET/ MAT/ UGC NET/ JRF scores followed by a PI round. GIM Goa also considers the work experience, research proposal, academic performance, and statement of purpose of the candidates. A pass in master’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate or an equivalent grade along with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12 is required to apply for the FPM course.

Considering the past three years trend, the CAT cutoff remained consistent for GIM for open category. As per the GIM CAT cutoff 2024, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM cutoff stood at 95 for CAT for the General AI category candidates. However, for other PGDM specialisations, it stood at 98.5 in 2024. So, the expected can be same for separate PGDM specialisation. Further, the GIM cutoff 2025 is yet to be released.
