Review of GITAM B.Sc. Biotechnology.

Placements: The campus placements are good, and there are many things to be noted, like being active in student placement groups and also trying to build projects to get extra edge. This also utilizes every source of campus connections. Don't blindly believe in the placements try off campus too and try to understand that the higher the skills, the higher the value there are many companies recruiting in Gitam but try to be different, like trying new things on campus like the VDC programme for entrepreneurship and also make sure to build proper connections with people through student clubs and professors so that u can broaden your view towards placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Gitam is good and boring at the at the same time they are renewing all though but still, there are some gaps. You might love the campus greenery and also the pace when nobody is around. ICT is always crowded but despite that, all the buildings have pleasant entry and classrooms are traditional for science students, whereas for engineering it's well-equipped. The structure of courses is also maintained in a good way but there are slight issues in grading, which leads to confusion but the design is good .

Faculty: The faculty is dependent on the person who teaches. There is a different style for each of the professors; some of them have there best style the same way some have the worst side but every professor teaching has somehow good experience teaching. Also, there might be some issues with professors for grading and teaching methods, like using only ppts, which would probably frustrate you but guess what everyone does? Either relying on or complaining, try to read the PPT and correlate with the professor to get some flow into the subject.

GITAM is an excellent college for freedom and enjoyment as well as study.

Placements: At GITAM University, placements for science backgrounds are minimal. The package is around 3 LPA. Pulsus, Dr. Reddy Labs, and Pfizer companies are recruiting. In a class of 60 members, 3 to 4 members get a chance of being placed. Maximum placements are offered for engineering students.

Infrastructure: GITAM provides maximum facilities like Wi-Fi, the best classrooms, labs and libraries. In the library, digital computers are available and huge resources are available even for competitive exams in higher education. The food was super but the fee hikes are very high and disappoint. So I look into PGs with a good budget and food available with Wi-Fi facilities; they are within walking distance of the college. Around 900 meters of good hostels are there. Medical facilities are there; GIMSR Hospital is very near. We can use subways. Sports and games are preferred a lot.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are well qualified and helpful too. They explain very clearly by using PowerPoints. The course syllabus is very relevant. The exam level is moderate, and the pass percentage is 40 percent. Some faculty are simply reading PowerPoints, which is not supportive but most of them are very supportive.

Other: Biotechnology is a broad course with a lot of job opportunities in the future. Biotechnology is a combination of food technology and microbiology so it's very helpful. There are many events and fests that are conducted. There is a fest called SHORE FEST held over 3 days. We have a lot of fun. Ethnic Day and DJ Night will be there. A GAT exam will be conducted for admission; if you score 70 percent, you will get a scholarship for 25 percent of the total fee.

Our college has well-qualified teachers.

Placements: Our college does not provide internships and placements. Companies won't visit the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: We have a library. Our college provides free medical facilities for students. We have a lab facility. Classrooms and hostel rooms are Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They guide students for the future. They are well-qualified. They have great knowledge of their domains. This course does not make students industry-ready. Exams are held semester-wise as well as mid-semester-wise.

Placements: Around 85% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Laureus, Vijaya Diagnostics, etc. Top roles offered are lab technician assistant, operating manager, etc.

Many placements were provided before covid, but later, there aren't many placements.

Placements: The highest package offered is 17 LPA, and the lowest package is 9 LPA approximately. The internships are available, and students get knowledge and work experience. A few large companies recruit only selected persons through the process. Major benefits are given to students.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities available in the hostel. The environment is healthy. Medical facilities are top-notch. Sports ground and games are available in Gitam College. The food quality is good.

Faculty: The faculty members help the students in many ways. Library and zoom meetings are helpful for students. Great courses are available in Gitam College. Semester exams are easy to track with the help of the faculty.

Placements: Many students were placed in the best companies. Many students have better career chances, and all students are doing well after graduating from our university. There are also many internships in top companies.

Infrastructure: The perfect way of living life is to have freedom and cherish every moment of college which our university provides to us. The major important thing here is Wi-Fi, through which students get more information regarding studies and labs to create something new. In classrooms, students actually learn something better. There is a library where you will have complete freedom to gain tremendous knowledge.

Absolutely good experience .

Placements: About 65% of students are placed from our course. The highest package offered was 6LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top companies like Aurobindo pharmacy, Dr Reddy laboratories, Corrohealth and Orion innovation have been recruited from our courses. Each and every student has opportunities for internships.

Infrastructure: Every class is build with AC classrooms, projectors, Every floor has Wi-Fi. We have laboratory for each subjects. The quality of the hostel are 3/5 since AC rooms are not provided for everyone. The quality of the food is 4/5. Every student has allowed for sports .

Faculty: Teachers as so helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is 4/5. They help the students. Yes this course is curriculum relevant, it makes the students ready. The semester exams are quite easy, we need to score only above 33 for pass score.

Other: Every week there will be an event. U can either volunteer or participate .
