The college has a good environment, and it provides a well-planned course curriculum.
Placements: About 20% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Mostly software jobs are offered after B.Tech. Very few core companies recruit students just after completion of B.Tech in biotechnology. Top biotech companies are Shanta Biotech and Dr. Reddy's.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available for students, and there are a library, laboratories and digital library. Hostels are comfortable, neat and are well maintained with LAN facilities and also spacious. The hostel mess is open from morning 7 am to10 pm, and it offers good food and a fair amount of varieties. Different activities are also arranged here, and they provide 2 outings and one leave for every student in every month.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, highly qualified and well experienced. The course has many benefits and also has various branches, which can be further chosen to specialise in anyone. Our course offers vast areas of development and research like microbiology, bioinformatics, forensics, etc.
Other: I chose a biotechnology course because it has a huge demand in future developments in medicine pharmaceuticals, etc. The course curriculum is a little hectic, but it covers all important topics.

GITAM University is one of the best universities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
Placements: Nearly 93% of the students got placed from those who opted for campus placements. Multinational companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Accenture offer software jobs, and core companies like Shanta Biotech and Pratishta Industries offer core jobs.
Infrastructure: The university stands at the top position for its infrastructure and facilities. Laboratories, computer labs, sports room, library and college stadium are very well-maintained and equipped. Canteens are maintained very neatly. The campus is surrounded by many trees and gives the best environment to live in.
Faculty: The university has faculty members from the best educational background, and they are very knowledgeable with good basics. They are always available for students to clarify their doubts at any time. They are also ready to help students with their personal issues, sufferings and other ragging issues too.
Other: Apart from academics, the university also focuses on co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities like organising various fests, debates, quiz, sports and other games.

The college has good faculty and good facilities.
Placements: There are almost 50-60 companies that visit the campus during the placement drive. They take almost 3000 people, but the average package is very low approximately Rs 3 lacs per annum. The placement cell does work very hard to get the students placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good from the looks of it. The classes in the older buildings aren't very good. All the labs are sophisticated and up to date. There is an indoor stadium. There are 2 grounds, 5 canteens and 3-4 general stores. We can get most of our requirements on the campus.
Faculty: In biotechnology, the staff have all completed their PhD and are doing active research. They know their work and how to teach. The student to faculty ratio in biotechnology is 1:10. The teacher takes students to industrial trips, and the curriculum is designed for the present biotech scenario.
Other: Fests and events take place all year. The campus is well-connected to the city.

Awesome campus life. It's good to learn and enjoy with friends. Satisfied with faculty and placement
Placements: As the course was not really established, the opportunities were fair enough for top-rated companies to hire you and top roles were offered. Only about half of the students were placed on campus, and reasonable packages were offered. One of the best colleges or universities to join
Infrastructure: It has a beautiful ambience, and the campus is well designed and structured. Tall buildings and it just looks like a mini city. pleasant environment, and greenery all over the campus. One can have a great time on campus. Anyone can join as it is the best college or university to join as far as the limits of Visakhapatnam and surrounding districts are concerned.
Faculty: Excellent faculty, not rude and helpful for students, and high standards in teaching as well. Midterm exams are seriously considered for the semester. Labs are not too hard as faculty help to get out of them with some good marks. Overall, the studies are good and the extra-curricular activities are more enjoyable.
Other: Extracurricular activities and events campus crowds and cheers. Furthermore, students have a lot of freedom, but not the kind of freedom found at other colleges.
