I think this college is very good, and my experience here is not bad.

Placements: It is quite a good college in comparison to other colleges in Chandigarh. This college is mainly known for its commerce department. So, I don't recommend you to join this college for the B.Sc course.

Infrastructure: It is one of the best colleges in Chandigarh. It has a great campus and professors. Technical support is good, and the interaction with students is also great. The equipment for a better understanding of concepts is also good. Computer and science labs are maintained in a great way. The canteen area is good and spacious, and the hostel area is great. Options for choosing the college in Chandigarh is great. The college doesn't even have a proper ground, but they are claiming that the college has different types of sports and games. Other than this, the infrastructure and classrooms are quite impressive.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified and well-skilled, and teachers are very experienced and have good behaviour. It is the best and well-organised college, and now even a business school has also opened. Surroundings are also good, and the security system is also the best. Most of the teachers are working as guest teachers, and they don't have proper skills. The B.Sc course is the worst.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in the computer field. Teachers and students are good in behaviour, and teachers, campus, events, environment and surroundings are very good.

It is a good college due to its practical parts and different knowledge which is good for future.

Placements: More than 60% of the students easily got placements. Salary packages offered are according to the marks and course, which is ranging from 2.5-7 LPA. For our course, the top recruiting companies are Verka Milk Ltd, Mother Dairy, Amul Pvt Ltd, Vita and many others. Top roles offered are as a manager in any food factory, food inspector, jobs in FSSAI or FDA.

Infrastructure: Our college has its own high-speed Wi-Fi. Labs are also good, but a few high technology equipment is not available. Hygiene and cleanliness are average, and regular cleaning is also done. An ambulance is always available for any emergency. The canteen is very good. It also has an extra Nescafe for students for other kinds of food. Sports and games are average and not that good. In NCC, our college has special recognition. Extracurricular activities like music, dance, talent hunt, etc., are also done regularly to keep students motivated. Staff members are also polite and humble.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and most of them have high experience. Our course is not that old, so all teachers are not informative enough. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready for sure. Industry visits are also an important part of our syllabus.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course is different from other usual courses, and I think it is good for the future. The best thing about our course is that it is less theoretical and more practical. More subjects can make our course even better. Multiple events and fests related to food are conducted here, which makes it the most interesting course among all.

The curriculum prepares us for industry and instills entrepreneurial skills among students.

Placements: There is placement for B.Com and M.Com but for our course there are no campus placements available. Campus placements can be arranged for non centralised course too and more stress should be given on practical training of the students for good results.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of our college is quite good. The classrooms and the mess and canteen food is also very good and hygienic. There is proper medical care available and good sanitation conditions. The hostels also provides good facilities.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. It even gives us the opportunity to have hands on experience with the industry itself. We have the benefit of industrial training and this course prepares us for industry and instills entrepreneurial skills among students.

I'm extremely satisfied with our course and curriculum. It could be best if I will get better crowd.

Placements: As I am currently in my second semester, I heard that a lot of attractive salary packages earned by our hardworking seniors. But under PU, we can just go up to any height if we have calibre. The top role offered in our coarse is the head of the human resource department of the retail chain.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and well lit, and our college has smart classroom facilities. All these classrooms are very professional, and there is a presentation platform, along with a podium which helps us to boost our confidence during presentations and speeches. So, we need to concentrate and improve all these things in our college life.

Faculty: Teachers here are way very friendly, and their teaching style is unique. Every teacher clears all our concepts, and they have such thorough knowledge of concepts. They just quote real-world case studies with a lot of fun. We just enjoy the learning, and I wish we all get such teachers again.

Other: My course is retail management, which is the best choice for business-minded people. It shares new ideas and encourages freshers to get enough experience and knowledge about the current business environment. I won't give such suggestions as the subjects are already not related to what particular publisher writers. It's all that corporate world demands us to know, so we refer notes.

Overall experience is good, fee are reasonable, but the fine for attendance is the only problem.

Placements: There are none of companies that want unskilled students, so only the skilled and focused students can manage to secure internships, and that too if they have completed training during vacations and the training period. The main point is that you have to stay focused on your degree and career to meet the expectations of companies.

Infrastructure: For degrees like B.Tech, BCA, and B.Voc HWNT, there is a separate building block where each classroom has A/C and Wi-Fi connectivity. Classrooms are clean and maintained on a daily basis. The mess provides hygienic food, and the canteen offers almost every refreshment item. SD College also has a separate coffee canteen. For sports and games, we have candidates from the ruling party who assist every student in the participation process.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and guide students at every step. They are professionals. Things we learn are fully based on our course, nothing is irrelevant. But, I have studied in college, and I can say that most of the time, a few teachers don't take classes and often give excuses. On the other hand, some teachers are so dedicated that they never miss a class and teach each topic with their best effort. Teachers are professional and helpful, and they actively clear our doubts and queries.

Other: I want to make my career in cyber security, and this course helps me understand basics of networking and hardware. I chose this course because it is less theoretical. One thing I wish would be better is that teachers should focus on helping students understand everything they teach, rather than just forcing them to complete notes only a few teachers do this. As for events, crowd, and extracurricular activities, these things are great on our campus.
