Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025
4.0
Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure, but dissatisfied with the campus crowd.
Placements: About 50% students are placed in very good companies and the rest are placed in normal companies. Packages between 3.5LPA to 6LPA are offered in this course. The roles offered in companies are that of Sales employee, Assistant Manager, etc. The top recruiting companies are Zomato, The Times of India, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good as compared to the other colleges. The library is fully air conditioned and a conference room is established for meetings and other activities. The classrooms are very large having a capacity of 200 students at a time.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful inside and outside the classrooms. All the teachers are well qualified. Semesters exams are not difficult for the students who have attended the classes. Without even a single hour studied at home, the students can pass if they have attended all the classes. The difficulty level is moderate.
Other: The college does not have much crowd. Majority of the students are found in the class and the library.

Qualified and helpful faculty available but canteen is not good .
Placements: 30% students were placed with an average package of 4 LPA. Top recruiter was Deloitte. For Bachelors of Commerce, the role provided to the students is of Audit. The highest package was 6 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Internships from Younity and AIESEC were provided.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, huge variety of books in the library, 2 computer labs, large size classrooms, hostel is not operational yet but would be operational within a year. Wi-Fi for all the students is provided. Basketball and badminton court. Gym and table tennis room.
Faculty: Highly qualified Ph.D. holder teachers, quite knowledgeable, helpful, guide well. The course curriculum is very relevant. Deep knowledge of the subjects is provided. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 40 percent. The mid-semester exams are very beneficial for final semester preparation.
Other: Good campus, canteen not that good, many extracurricular activities, scholarships for weaker sections, many feats and events take place.

Best place to learn and grow.
Placements: 90% of the students were placed in my course. The highest, the lowest and average package is INR 8 Lacs, 3 Lacs and 5 Lacs respectively. Top recruiting companies were EY, Deloitte, Wipro, etc. 95% of the students got internships in EY, Deloitte, Wipro from my course. Top roles offered were of Accounting, Sales Associate and Business Development Associate.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi connectivity is great and there are 5 labs in total, one lab on each floor. All the classrooms were very spacious and have good ventilation system. The quality of food, medical facility, sports, laundry and all other facilities in the hostel was very good.
Faculty: All the teachers are very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum makes students industry ready. The exams were a bit difficult to pass. The questions in exams test the reasoning skills of students. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: The course is known to be the best for commerce students as it includes subjects like Accountancy, Taxation, Commercial laws, Management which helps the students to get placements easily. The course should contain new subjects like Cyber laws, Intellectual property Rights laws etc. which are in demand in the present scenario. The college provides scholarships to poor children and is very good for extracurricular activities.

It is a good college with new infrastructure, good staff but it lacks campus activities.
Placements: Very few recruiters approached our college. Due to covid, the college did not organise placements, rather details of the recruitment drive were conveyed online through WhatsApp. I believe the college should have organised proper placement in the college itself. They should also approach good companies.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi facility. It has a computer lab and library. Classrooms are also equipped with projectors. Canteen is not good on campus. There are only few sports activities. The ground of the college is not maintained properly. Games are organised regularly but the condition of ground is not good.
Faculty: The teachers were well-qualified and helpful in our college. They have complete knowledge about the course. They also take the advantage of projectors to teach students in an effective and efficient manner. Students are told to prepare PowerPoint presentations for the classes so that students engage more in the discussion.

It is a great college that provides knowledge in commerce and administration.
Placements: About 60% of students get placement in our college. The average salary package offered ranges from 1-4 LPA. Many companies like TCS, iTinker, etc., visit our college to hire students. B.Com students have higher chances of getting placement.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good in our college. The furniture is very clean and new. It has a great environment. Every year our college conducts sports competitions and make students participate in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, creative, and motivators. All the teachers are highly qualified and are very friendly with the students. They do not also help in college but also after passing out. They give knowledge and suggestions for our future. Semester exams are not much difficult.

Good infrastructure and facilities in Government College of Commerce and Business Administration.
Placements: The placement cell of our college has done good work. Placement is offered by startup companies as well as well-established companies. The minimum package is 10,000 and the highest is more than 2 Lacs. Internships, as well as full-time jobs, are offered by the companies according to different courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Advanced technology is used to teach the students to create interest in their studies. Computer labs are very developed. National and international newspapers are available in the library. Books of all courses are available.
Faculty: Teachers are educated and trained in their respective fields. Teaching methods are very good for offline as well as online classes. Semester exams will be conducted in a predetermined schedule and with time management. Proper notice is given to the students regarding all activities done in colleges.

I had a mesmerising experience at GCCBA.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in reputed companies Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y etc. The package offered is around 2.4 LPA. Around 10% of students got internships. The roles like business development associate, sales executive, etc., are offered. The selection process is also one of a kind.
Infrastructure: Each classroom has a projector to teach using presentations. The library has a great collection of books related to every subject. Food availability and quality are up to the mark. NCC camps are conducted every year.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive and well versed with their subjects. The course curriculum gives an in-depth knowledge of the subject and various areas of commerce. At the end of the course, students get industry ready to take up various challenging roles.
Other: The campus is one of the finest places. I had a great experience.

Government College has great infrastructure and faculty, but the placements must be improved.
Placements: Around 20-25% of students got placed, including BBA students. The highest package is up to 3-3.5 LPA, and the average package is 2-2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are mostly of marketing and sales profile, and there is no good opportunity for the finance students. Internships are also provided by various startup companies. The companies coming to the college don't offer good packages because the college doesn't train the students or make the students ready to face the ground reality of the industries.
Infrastructure: The college has quite a good infrastructure. It has a great and beautiful building, and no one can say it is a government college. It has spacious classrooms with highly advanced technology installed in every class. Each classroom has a projector, dice with mics on it so that the lecture is made more interesting and audible to all. The campus also has Wi-Fi connectivity all over. The college also has a huge library with books of both Indian and foreign writers. The college is also equipped with cricket, badminton and basketball grounds. The college doesn't have hostel facilities at present but is taking the initiative to build a hostel opposite to the campus for the non-UT students.
Faculty: The staff members in our college are highly experienced, knowledgeable and cooperative. They are quite friendly with the students and help students to solve their doubts. But I am not satisfied with the course curriculum as the course that I am currently pursuing doesn't make the students ready to face real-world problems. It has not been upgraded with the latest problems faced by the industry and how to solve those problems.
Other: The college needs to improve the quality of placements as it mostly provides placements in startup companies which don't offer good packages and opportunities.
