First Semester: Promising start; Room for growth.
Placements: I have seen in the brochure and also heard from many people that many students got good placements even during their course. Many companies like Deloitte visit our college. 60% of the students got internships in good companies. The highest salary package is 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am not sure about the hostels as I am not a hosteler, but I heard from students that the rooms and the washrooms are maintained very well. The labs are equipped with the latest software and technology. The classrooms have the material that is required by the teachers to teach.
Faculty: The faculty quality varies, so it is difficult to explain this. If we see exams, they are challenging but fair, though frequent. The curriculum is standard with a mix of both theory and practical. The curriculum was mostly relevant and up to date. Most teachers were helpful and approachable.
Other: The best part of any course is learning new things and meeting new people. I wish there were more guidance on how to choose courses and plan for the future. Also, more practical experience would be great.

Very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: GGDSD College is one of the best colleges for commerce stream. The college offers campus placements. The minimum package of B.Com students is around 5 LPA. College also offers internships through various internship programs. The students willing to start internships can easily start it.
Infrastructure: College has various facilities. Campus of the college is quite big. There is hostel facility in college for both boys and girls. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. College has reading room, library, sports ground, auditorium, and Nescafe. College also has a separate food canteen. You will also get a stationary shop in college.
Faculty: Faculty members of GGDSD College are well-educated. Everyone is educated with high degrees. They are friendly and well-educated. The college conducts mid-semester tests that help students to know their weaknesses and strengths. The difficulty level of exams is not high, it's more than moderate.
Other: There is a lot of student crowd at GGDSD College. There are clubs that organises different events and fests. The experience of such events is best. College life at GGDSD College is very exciting every day. There are some other events or fests.

GGDSD College has goodwill and is good for graduation.
Placements: Students are placed with average to low packages ranging around 3-5 LPA. Mostly, students here prepare for other courses. The top recruiting companies include Deloitte, PwC, EY, HDFC Bank, SBI Bank, etc. This college is famous for commerce in Chandigarh and has goodwill.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average according to the fees. The college lacks sports facilities along with grounds. The area of the college is small. There are no CCTV cameras present in all the classrooms. Wi-Fi is present in the canteen. There are three canteens in the college with good food. They are quite expensive, just to mention. Well-stocked libraries are also there.
Faculty: Exams are held every now and then. Mid-semester exams are held also along with end-semester failing, which is called a penalty. It is a good college for graduates. Teachers are very helpful, and they are mostly young, which develops better communication. Semester exams are easy to pass.

Good college for B.Com and has well reputation in Chandigarh.
Placements: Placements are pretty decent for a bachelor of commerce graduate. One can expect around 4 LPA to 5 LPA packages. S. D. College is known for its B.Com degree and good commerce background in Chandigarh. Top recruiters MNCs include Delliote, KPMG, EY, PWC, Dell, HDFC, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is just fine. College is small comparatively. Classrooms have no ACs, and summers are a bit tricky. Wi-Fi is available and there are three canteens including indoor and outdoor. Hostel is pretty worth the money with full facilities. Food quality is good and proper medical aid is available. The college lacks proper grounds for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. Teachers are 50% experienced and other half are young who are also pursuing their higher studies. Semester exams are held mid-semester and end-semester. The exams are easy to pass. The pass percentage is also high.

Bad infrastructure, above average faculty, a bit expensive.
Placements: Average package in my course is about 5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company, in my opinion, is Deloitte, where I too am placed for the role of Audit and Assurance. The lowest package is 3.4 Lacs per annum in Accenture, which is very low, and their placement process takes more than 1 month, which is unnecessary botheration.
Infrastructure: SD college should really emphasize on improving its infrastructure. Dirty washrooms, no Wi-Fi (but it is mentioned that it is available), suffocating classrooms in summers because there are no air conditions, and students are not civilized as they destroy the property.
Faculty: Some of the faculty is very rude, and some professors don't teach properly. Although there are some who are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the subjects are similar in every semester, so we study the same thing almost every semester. Business Studies subject of class 12th CBSE will be taught in every semester.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to pursue avenues in accounts subject. They should really add relevant subjects to the course other than teaching the same thing every time. 50% of the crowd is not civilized and very ill-mannered. College charges a very high fine compared to other colleges in Chandigarh for no reason.

You can change the college the result was announced you need to grab the semester certificate from the college and you can show it in the new college where you want to join

Yes, boy's hostel is there. But it's under construction right now and it will take at least 2 years to be run. Fees of B.com depends upon your stream, but generally it varies from INR 25000 to 35000 a year
