College is good with good memories.
Placements: B.Com 2025 batch has approximately 400 students. The highest salary of B.Com is around Rs. 30,000. About 5% of students got placed. Its rooms are wide and airy, as for companies, I don't know about that. Hence these average packages are not too good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay and contains only a boy's hostel inside the campus which is good. Girls hostel is on the corresponding college's campus which is so restrictive and I would not prefer to take the girls hostel. Wi-Fi facility is also not too good. Gaming ground is also there.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are good and qualified. But the curriculum of the college is not too good. Exams are conducted properly without any disturbance. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. Overall, this college is good and budget-friendly.

This college is very good, and you can take admission here. It’s very cheap to study in this college
Placements: 100% of students are placed in my course. I don't know about the highest, but the average package is 6 LPA. Amazon, Yahoo, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. 100% of students get internships in my course. Top roles offered in my course are Data Analyst and Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available like canteen, mess, hostel rooms, Wi-Fi, AC, TV, electricity, proper cleaning. My college is very good. The quality of food is also very good, and there is a medical room available. Sports are very good here, and many sports tournaments are organized in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they are very good here. They are qualified and knowledgeable, and they have enough knowledge about each and everything. They make us industry-ready here, and the semester exams are somewhat difficult if we have not studied from the start.

Overall, the college is decent, especially for those who do not have more money.
Placements: There is very rare placement in my college, and I cannot describe it in percentage. First of all, no companies visit my college for placement, and also, students do not get internships as well. I don't know anyone from my college who got placement, so overall, I can say there is no placement in my college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also not up to the mark. The ground is decent, the library is good, and the faculty is also good in our college, but the canteen is not good, and the food is also not good. The hostel of the college is good, but very few students stay there, and the mess food is also not good.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is decent and skilled, and they teach well. Some teachers are very friendly. The semester exams are not so difficult; the passing percentage is 33, and a student can easily get passed if they study well. But I don't think it makes students industry-ready.

No internship is provided for B.Com students, but it should be provided for the upcoming batches for better exposure to the real world.

It's average, but the environment is good.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placements, but small companies come to our college. Not many students are provided with placements, only a few brilliant students are provided with the average placements. The highest package may go up to 12 LPA, and the lowest goes to 4 LPA. No special internships are provided, and no special roles were given in our course.
Infrastructure: Sports facilities are available in our college, which I think is good, and Wi-Fi is also available. Three canteens are set up, so there is no issue with food quality. The hostel is very near to the college, and the food provided in the mess is also good. The library is also well-maintained, and every book related to academics is available there.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, and they guide us for all the doubts and also help with personal problems. The course curriculum is also prepared by these teachers, and it is actually very relevant to students. The semester exams are not very difficult if you study from the beginning of the semester and attend every class.
Other: I have taken commerce in my 12th class, so I want to pursue B.Com for my further studies. The best thing about this course is that it not only teaches you about account making but also about the nature of business, which I would like to do in my future. Fests also keep happening, and the surrounding is also very heartwarming.

Nice college and nice hostel room.
Placements: Likes: This course is excellent with a wide variety of opportunities for the better future of students. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Airtel, Byjus, Amazon, etc., are offered to the students.
Dislikes: Companies like Eclerx, Star Plus, and different banks come to the college for placements. Placement facilities for new and fresher students are currently low, as not many companies are trying to recruit them.
Infrastructure: Likes: Overall, the college has good infrastructure, medical facilities, library, and classrooms. The quality of food is good in the hostel mess as well as in the college canteen.
Dislikes: The labs are above average in the college. However, classrooms are a question mark for the college, as they are not well maintained and the benches are very old.
Faculty: Likes: They not only teach according to the syllabus but also teach various things that will be beneficial for students in their careers. Teachers here are of good calibre, as varied teachers from diverse fields impart their knowledge to the students studying under them.
Dislikes: They are qualified, but a lot of irregularities occur, as most of the time they are on strike. This makes students lose interest in coming to college.

Old date labs but good teaching with experienced staff
Placements: Very few companies are invited for recruitment. 10 students out of 100 got placement at the end. The highest package was around 7 Lacs. Classroom size is large. There are 3-4 companies available every year for recruitment. Because of these reasons, I rate it 2 out of 5.
Infrastructure: Hostel and commerce block is well-constructed but no air conditioning is available. Labs are outdated. There are two canteens, one is the college's personal canteen and the other is Nestled. Nestled provides good quality food and beverages, but the college canteen is cheaper.
Faculty: Teaching is valuable, and teachers are accountable. College is affiliated with Punjab University. NEP guidelines are followed. Guidelines from Punjab University are strictly followed. Exam fee is included in semester fees, so no extra amount is to be paid for it.
Other: Students rarely get scholarships, but fees are quite affordable. My B.Com course fee is 24,000 per semester. NCC is available free of cost.

Know your college accurately.
Placements: If you score more than 80%, you might be considered for admission to Sri Guru Gobind Singh College; otherwise, you won't get admission for sure unless you have a quota or reservation, which can lower the percentage required for admission.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College is good but not top-notch. If you are assuming colleges like foreign ones, then you are wrong, but it is better than government colleges. Some classes are equipped with smart technology, but it was not used by teachers even once when I was in college.
Faculty: Exams are conducted under the supervision of professional professors. If you think of cheating, forget it. Minimal cheating, such as seeing answers from the front bench or from the sides, might be possible, but practicing any illegal method is not an option.
Other: If you want to enjoy college life, then go for it. But if you are very serious about your career, I don’t recommend this college. If it is your last option, then consider it; otherwise, try other colleges.

The college is good and the teachers are helpful.
Placements: 70–80 percent of students were placed in B.Com. The top recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, and other companies. The highest package is INR 15-20 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is INR 5–6 lacs per annum. Around 50–60 percent of students got internships from B.Com. programs at Amazon, Flipkart, and accountability companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent; there is a special lab for experiments and smart libraries and classrooms with built-in Wi-Fi. The hostel provides facilities for medical issues. There is a special room for the games that can be played inside the room.
Faculty: Yes, most of the teachers are Ph.D.-qualified teachers from Punjab University, and they are very helpful. The teaching quality of the teachers is good, but it depends on the students. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam depends on the students; if they study well, the paper is easy. The passed percentage is about 33 percent out of 100.
Other: I chose B.Com. because I want to be an accountant and be in the banking line. The best thing is that it made the students know about the economy and other financial statements. I wish to be better and cut some of the syllabus because it is too much. After qualifying, the college presents the student with flowers and many more events announced in the college, giving him or her a chance to be a part of this and share about his or her experience.
