Honest details about my course and college.
Placements: There are no placements in nursing colleges but if we prepare for competitive exams to apply for government recruitments for nursing staff and CHO posts, we can be eligible for the B.Sc nursing course. It is a good job offer for the B.Sc nursing course. There are many private hospitals and colleges to get a job but the salary depends on the hospitals and colleges. In this course, we have to accept and adjust to this condition.
Infrastructure: In the government nursing colleges, there is no hostel facility. There are no proper and owned classrooms. In our college, there is a medical college. They provided a hostel. The food quality is not very good but we can eat. All the other basic facilities are good.
Faculty: There are 10 faculty members in our college. They all are qualified with M.Sc. in nursing in specific subjects. They have different knowledge and skills to teach us well and effectively to reach us. Overall, the guidance is the best. There are 7-semester exams for us.
Other: The greatest thing in our college and all government colleges is that there are no extra fees to pay except for the university fees for the academic year in 4 years. Lamp lighting programme is a common and mandatory function to celebrate with nursing students that they are taking an oath to our professional course as medical staff perform well and safely in our future clinical setting.
