Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placement in 2023, and good infrastructure facilities.
Placements: In our department in the year 2023, all students who were eligible for placement received job offers from different companies. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, TCS, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The facility for our department is much greater than that of other departments. We have the main block building, which contains different labs and so many classrooms, but in our college, ECE didn't have any departments, so their students are sitting in our department block, which is not good for ECE students.
Faculty: Especially the faculty of our department is very fantastic and excellent; most of them graduated from top institutions from inside and outside of India. This course makes students industry-ready, but the companies must give these students a 6-month training program to help them understand the industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my craziness to study these tough subjects like mechanics of fluids, solids, thermal engineering, thermodynamics, etc.

A comprehensive review of GECK.
Placements: Almost 60% of students are placed every year at our college. 6–9 LPA was the highest package in our college. Top recruiting companies include Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Aarbee Structures, etc. Almost 80% of students get internships every year. Top roles offered were testers, assistant engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructures are little bit average for our college and most of the classes are smart classrooms which have AC, TVs, smart projectors, etc. Classrooms are very good in their space and Wi-Fi is also available. The library was a little bit average. There's no hostel at our college and students must opt for PG or hostels outside campus. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is very average and LH is available for ladies. Sports and curriculum were average.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are very much qualified and most of them are research scholars and have Ph.D.s too. Our university is KTU Apj Abdul Kalam Technological University; most of the syllabus covers industrial-related topics and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of the exams was average. 69% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my interest in machines engines, etc. The best things about our course is that it is relevant and very industrial-related. Our syllabus covers almost every aspects of mechanical engineering. Our college has mainly 2 national-level tech fests named Lakshya, Endora, and other local festivals. There's so much extracurricular curricular activities going on in our campus like NSS, ISTE, etc. Our college provides scholarships and grants based on government criteria.

The college with best faculty .
Placements: Most reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, L&T, etc. have taken over 300 students. Almost 70% of students get placed. Almost an INR 1 lacs to 50,000 salary package was offered. Almost all students were posted as production engineers.
Infrastructure: Almost 500 students can stay in a hostel, which is near the college. The mess provides four-time food and it's on the third floor. In each room, 4 to 5 students were allocated hostels, which are provided to girls. This is a place for FMAEs and other circuital activity in a good environment.
Faculty: There were reputed teachers taking classes; almost 79% had doctorates from reputed colleges, which will encourage students to be innovators. They make students meet industry requirements; almost every exam has been conducted; every exam has its own difficulty.
Other: I have selected mechanical engineering because it has reputed teachers with high placement and will provide extracurricular activities that will all provide students with scholarships.

Our college provides good facilities.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Infosys, TCS, South Indian Bank, etc., visit our college. Internships are very important to gain knowledge. All students got internships in different companies. Top roles offered are mechanical engineer and design engineer.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. All classrooms are good. The library has a wide variety of books. The hostel provides good food. The mess and canteen offer food at affordable prices. Sports and games are good. Students can play many games in our college.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified in their respective subjects. They are good. Most of them are Ph.D. holders from top universities. The course makes students ready for the industry. The semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is around 80%.
Other: Our college conducts inter-college matches. It has a good ambiance.

It is a very good college.
Placements: Around 10 students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is L&T. Around 40% of students got internships from our course in Cognizant and L&T. Top roles offered are engineering trainee and software developer.
Infrastructure: Our college is small compared to other government engineering colleges in Kerala. Our college doesn't have a hostel facility for boys. It has a girls' hostel only. Most of the students from different places opt for paying guests near our college. Our college offers free Wi-Fi that could be accessed only through laptops after signing in to our college. Classrooms and the library are good and easy for utilising. As our college doesn't offer a hostel for boys, it is not good for those students to afford the other paying hostels near the college.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful and supportive. They are qualified and have great knowledge. Teachers conduct classes as per the standards the university offers. They do not make us keep our heads and happiness down. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult in our college. It always depends on students' approach and studying mind towards each exam. The pass percentage of our department is around 40-45%.
Other: I opted for this course because I like mechanical engineering. It plays a key role in today's scenario. It provides vast knowledge about automobiles, vehicles, etc. This branch offers an easy way of understanding future vehicles and their field of applications. Our college should provide more practical knowledge about the theories we study. Our college conducts many events, fests, and shows like art fests, tech fests, etc. The campus crowd is less. Students interact with each other and have a proper understanding. Our college offers more scholarships and extracurricular activities. We have NSS, IEEE, IEDC, etc., to interact socially and extend our connectivity. Our college should provide more latest technologies and modes of study.
