Best placements, faculty, and atmosphere of our college.

Placements: Placement is best. More placement in the electrical department. At government engineering college Rajkot, better than others colleges in Gujarat. Maximum placement is offered by L&T and package is 9 lacs. And the minimum package is 4 Lacs in the company Infotech.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostels is very beautiful and amazing. The atmosphere and infrastructure of the college are the same as our home. All facilities are available at hostels and college, e. g. , water supply, Wi-Fi, electricity, etc. A total of 7 branches are available at our college.

Faculty: The faculty of our college are the best faculty and are better than other colleges. The nature of faculty members of the electrical department is as a family member. The exam of the electrical department in our college is the midterm exam, which is online out of 30 marks and the final GTU exam is offline out of 70 marks.

I have already reviewed and mentioned how our college is good.

Placements: 85% of students were placed in our course. Our highest package offered is 7.5 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum, with companies like L&T, Reliance, AM&NS, Adani, etc. 75% of students got internships from our course, so our college has good placements in Gujarat; we are ranked 4th in Gujarat after LD, VGECR, and BVM.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available for our course. The mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are part of the facilities in our hostel. However, our college hostel's mess facilities are below average, and the medical facilities are not good. Sports and games are available in our college.

Faculty: Our teachers are educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our college prepares students for the industry. Our students will pass our department's core subjects but may not pass the other department's subjects; 65% of students pass in our college.

Other: I chose electrical engineering because most students would go for the IT field, so the chances for core branches like electrical and mechanical students are less, which is why I will choose electrical.

Security is well maintained.

Placements: 60% students got placed this year. The highest package offered is 5.2 LPA, lowest is 4.2 LPA and average is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TATA MOTORS, L&T, Tech Mahindra, TATVASOFT, INFOCHIP, VALENS DATABASE, ISHAN TECHNOLOGIES, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided include well-maintained Wi-Fi as well as laboratories. Each classroom contains Projectors and Smart boards. The hostel doesn't provide food. It's just for living and hostel selection depends upon students’ grades.

Faculty: In my field, there is a shortage of professors and each professor teaches two subjects. Every year, professors are changed as per the student’s feedback and demand. For practical knowledge, our college organizes industrial visits.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and good placements.

Placements: More than 50% of students got placed last year with good packages. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in the hostel, like free Wi-Fi, good and healthy food, and good guards for the safety of students.

Faculty: Semester exams are average. The passing marks are 18 in each subject. All the teachers are helpful and friendly with students. They clear all the doubts of students.

Review of Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Placements: About 30-40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Byju's, Tech Mahindra, Onecode, and Just Dial visit our campus for placements. The placement environment is not so good. Everyone wants to go to higher studies here. Still, it is up to you.

Infrastructure: The full campus is Wi-Fi enabled. It has an amazing library. Classrooms are modern here. The hostels are not so good. The hostel mess is not good. Overall, the facilities available in our college are good. There is a court for every sport like basketball, football, and volleyball. The college has its own clubs too, which is amazing.

Faculty: Our college has amazing faculty members. They provide a great learning experience. They provide good practical knowledge, and that is helpful for interviews. Exams are of good level. The pattern is subjective, and you have to write long as well as short answers. The evaluation process is a bit confusing, and it solely depends on your writing speed.

Other: Fests organised at our college are amazing. The connectivity is not so good, and it is far from the main city. Still, public vehicles do run on a regular basis.

Review of Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Placements: The placements are average. About 45% to 50% of the students got placed in various companies. Top recruiting companies for our college are Jyoti CNC, Tata Motors etc. I don't remember the salary packages offered here, but I think the highest salary package offered was about 10.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The top roles offered in our course are an engineer, project manager, managing director etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are the best because it is a huge campus, and there are many buildings. For each branch, there are different departmental buildings. There are a library, canteen and administrative department. There is also a ground for outdoor games.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-knowledgeable and well-qualified. They are also very helpful to the students. The head of each department and principal are also very helpful. The teaching quality is good, and teachers make extra efforts for students. This course curriculum is relevant.

Other: Placements provided in our college for students are below average because companies need quality students and top-level personalities. But in our college, very few students are comfortable with their courses. Many national and international companies like TCS, Jyoti CNC, Birla Group of companies, etc., send their employees to our college to know better about students, but they get bad impressions on us.

I am highly satisfied with this college.

Placements: Many students got placed from here. Our college offers very good job opportunities in core and non-core areas like finance, consultancy and CS. In India, there are many textile companies so that you can get jobs easily through this course.

Infrastructure: It is a wonderful college with excellent or top-class infrastructure. Hostels, library, labs, classrooms, playground, etc., are well-mannered. High-speed Wi-Fi is available here, and there are many clubs for exploring ourselves. The library has a huge collection of books, and there are huge labs with all the proper equipment.

Faculty: There are good faculty members, and they are the best in the country. They are very qualified, and unlike other professors, they are easily accessible and helpful. Almost every professor here is a PhD holder from very reputed institutes around the world. The quality of education and research provided at IIT Delhi is unmatchable to our college. Our college has highly qualified and professional professors. They impart in-depth knowledge and have a great range of contacts. They provide recommendations, very helpful and supportive. They are dedicated to the subject. But now, in these online classes, their experience and their teaching are not up to the mark. However, in college, we used to have a good and well interaction with them compared to online. Moreover, they are well knowledgeable. Some professors have good teaching quality, but some don't have, and even they don't interact much with students. This course curriculum makes students familiar with many industries. It is relevant and contains all basics for the industry job.

Other: Many activities are conducted here.

Good faculty and average placement .

Placements: Almost 64.91% students get placement. The highest package was 7.5 Lacs per annum and average is 4 Lacs and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum and also students have to find internship by their own. Electrotherm and adani was the highest recruiter in previous year .

Infrastructure: We get enough facility of labs, classrooms, Library and hostel. But they doesn't have any mess or canteen inside campus also they doesn't have any facilities for sports and games, Only they conduct events of sports in January but they don't provide any stuff for games, students have to arrange by their own .

Faculty: The quality of teachers are very high also some teachers don't have enough teaching skills overall the quality of faculty is very good. Some professors are also qualified from IIT and they all are gpsc qualified candidates. The course curriculum is not relevant as today's industry demand the curriculum is very old also they offer BE instead of b'teach The semester exams as my experience the exams was average also we need 35%to pass the exams.

Other: I choose this course because I have interest in electrical engineering and also we get chance to study Physics deeply. I wish that my college facilities and placement should gets better. Also they provide very less fest but some fests are rangtaal for garba in navratri for one day, techfest and sports event.
