GECR: A growing hub for technical excellence and career opportunities.

Faculty: The academic capabilities of faculty members are excellent. They follow the proper teaching method. The course curriculum at our college is considered relevant and up-to-date. It perfectly aligns with current industry standards, and students notice that changes in the syllabus positively impact future needs and effectively prepare them for the job in the company. There are a total of 3 exams through the semester. 1. Mid sem (30 marks) 2. GTU university exam (70 marks) 3. Practical exam ( 30 Viva...

Good and bad things about GECR.

Faculty: Our college has a large team of well-qualified and experienced faculty members across various departments. Faculty members are very polite to students and support them in improving their potential. There are a total of 3 exams per semester in the college, including the mid-sem exam (30 marks), GTU university exam (70 marks), and practical exam (50 marks: 20 internal assessment + 30 viva exam).

Dissatisfied because of infrastructure, not having good placement.

Faculty: Some of the faculty do not provide complete guidelines for us to understand. However, there are some teachers that we prefer. In GECR, teaching quality is average. Our college has mid-sem exams in the middle of the semester, which are not as hard as university exams. There are marks of 30, so we can qualify for 12 marks.

Faculty: Faculty members are one of the highlights of this college. They are supportive, qualified, and always willing to blend a hand. Classes are regular, and they make sure students are prepared for exams. They are also super helpful when it comes to placements and other activities. Semester exams are not difficult if you have studied well.

Honest review for Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Faculty: Most of our teachers are not helpful, but they all are knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are good. Our course curriculum is not relevant because our university gives a six-month curriculum, but our college only has three months of study. Our college has two types of exams, one for the mid-exam and the other for the university-level exam. The mid-exam difficulty is moderate, but the university-level exam is quite difficult. You have to clear all subjects for a passing mark.

GEC Rajkot provides a comprehensive education with strong placement and internship opportunities.

Faculty: My current fee is Rs. 2,250 per year. The tuition fee is Rs. 1,500 for non-TFWS students. For non-TFWS students, there is no fee. Rs. 750 is mandatory for both TFWS and non-TFWS students which is for institute fees. In Rs. 750, they include a library fee of Rs. 40, a laboratory fee of Rs 260, a gymkhana fee of Rs. 150, a social gathering of Rs. 100, an internal examination fee of Rs. 100, and a stationary fee of Rs. 200. The university exam form fee is not mentioned. We have to pay for it in GTU...

College in brief and placement details.

Faculty: The faculty for CE are good. Most are good teachers and happy to help. Just don't tease them and they don't tease you back. Semester exams are easy if you study 1 day before and you are an average student. It's an easy pass. Not to say there are easy questions but never felt hard to pass if you want to score well, then study well. The passing exam is easy. Exam of midterm is 30 marks in total; obtain 12 to pass and end-term exam is 70- marks university exam.

I have already reviewed and mentioned how our college is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our college prepares students for the industry. Our students will pass our department's core subjects but may not pass the other department's subjects; 65% of students pass in our college.
