Government Medical College, Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities.
Placements: After completing MS, you'll be able to work as a medical officer in any government or private hospital. Our college students qualified in various examinations like NEET PG, AIIMS, PG, JIPMER, IAS etc., and that too with good ranks, and even some students were in the top 100 ranks.
Infrastructure: Our college building is a bit old, but it looks good. There are so many well-organized labs. Hostel facilities are also provided over here. Our college has a well-maintained swimming pool, a gym, a badminton court and a table tennis court. Our college also provides a sports ground for football and cricket. Hostels are very old but are under renovation, and they are becoming much better and more hygienic. There is also an e-library.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members here are very helpful and highly qualified. Especially when you enter the final year, you'll appreciate their quality of teaching inwards and OPD during clinical postings. They use projectors, boards, and specimens as per the need to explain the topic to us.
Other: Our college is known for the unity among the students. Fests and gathering events are organised here every year, which makes college life much more enjoyable initially. The campus is located in the middle of the city, where everything is available at a minor distance.
