I have a problem with sports in college, there are no sports in college.
Placements: 80% is the placement rate. The highest package is reported as 6 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. The recruiting companies are Reliance Industries Limited, Essar Steel, Tata Chemicals Limited, Bajaj Auto, and Aditya Birla Group. The average percentage of students is placed. The roles offered are design engineer, production supervisor, quality control technician, and maintenance technician.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi access on campus, well-equipped labs, classrooms, and a library with resources for different subjects. The hostel has decent facilities, with furnished rooms, washrooms, and a good mess. The hotel facilities also include well-equipped medical services and good food.
Faculty: The faculty members at Government Polytechnic College, Valsad, are perceived as helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The exams are generally considered easy, with a high pass percentage. The difficulty level is moderate and requires consistent effort to achieve a minimum of 40%.

Placements: Government Polytechnic College, Valsad does not have good placements like other colleges. Companies like UltraTech Cement and Reliance offer placements. The minimum package is 3 LPA and the maximum package is 13 LPA. Internships are offered in the 3-semester and 5-semester at this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Government Polytechnic College, Valsad is too much good. The campus is clean. Wi-Fi is available here. Classrooms have a neat and clean infrastructure. The hostel is available at Government Polytechnic College, Valsad. It also has indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Government Polytechnic College, Valsad has nice faculty members. They are helpful and they always help students. Teachers are very knowledgeable and very trained. They make students industry-ready. Exams are conducted very strictly here and rules are compulsory. ID card and hall ticket are compulsory.

Due to good faculty, my GTU got easily completed in 2025.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. The highest package is 5 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Reliance Industries, GSFC, GNFC, Aarti Industries, L&T, and Ambuja Cement. I don't know about internships. Roles offered in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, plastic engineering, information technology, and CAD/CAM.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi access in classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for practical learning, and a library with both physical and digital resources. We have decent hostel with 24X7 security. Good mess serving hygienic food. The mess serves hygienic food from a variety of different states. The canteen is also available, and some students find the food there to be good and affordable.
Faculty: They provide good teaching quality. A curriculum relevant to industry preparedness is determined by its alignment with current and future job market needs. Exams are structured. Exams are taken semester-wise, with a mid-exam also conducted, which is relatively easy according to some students.
Other: It provides good study and friends. Sports are very bad, only 0.01% is sports. I have completed 2 semesters but did not get even 1 sport. There is no scope for sports at this college. There is nothing to support anyone. No one will conduct sports here.

The college is great; all students should come here.
Placements: Government Polytechnic Valsad College, there are not many good placements for the future, and not many companies visit. The annual salary ranges from about 4 to 5 LPA. Only small IT companies, like Teach Company Ltd., hire, and they do not offer competitive salaries.
Infrastructure: The college is good, and its infrastructure is nice; the campus is very clean. However, the canteen needs improvement. There is 24/7 security, and the mess serves hygienic food. Medical facilities are available around the clock, but the Wi-Fi is not great, and the library is quite outdated.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-educated, and knowledgeable; they teach very effectively. Students also receive training from the teachers, and they are very humble. Exams are conducted politely and are under CCTV surveillance. The semester exams are not too difficult for everyone.

Review of Government Polytechnic College.
Placements: It is the best government college for chemical engineering. There was no government college for chemical engineering in Surat, so I took admission in Government Polytechnic College, Valsad. Students get placed on campus. Students can work, or they can go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was above average. Classrooms were well-developed. The campus was Wi-Fi enabled. All kinds of transportation was available in the college. The food was also available. The sports ground was limited, and it was like a garden.
Faculty: The teaching methods were good. They provided us with good resources and materials for our respective subjects. By referring to the given materials, students can score well.

It is good in terms of campus life and academics.
Placements: Reliance Petroleum, Jamnagar Refinery, Ambuja Cement, and other top companies visit the campus for placements. The salary package offered is not that good. It is around 3 LPA or 3.5 LPA. For better growth in chemical industries, getting a degree after a diploma is good if you don't have financial problems.
Infrastructure: The campus has greenery around it. We have internet facilities on the college campus. Food is also available in the canteen. During the monsoon season, water gets collected near the hostel, so that's a problem at that time. A variety of food is available nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and very supportive of students. They conduct workshops, seminars, industry visits, and expert lectures.
Other: Tech Fest and sports are organised.
