The placement scenario of the college was not up to the mark, especially for the students of core branches.

With low fees, our college provides more than enough facilities compared to other colleges.
Placements: I am a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student in my second year. In my class, 65 students are good and innovative. The highest package in Mechanical Engineering, as I know, is 12-14 LPA. The minimum is 4 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. It can be considered good because of the off-location of the college campus. Mostly, low- to high-level companies come for placement recruitment, like Wipro and sometimes Tata. Around 10% of students get placed through the Mechanical Engineering department. Roles offered in this branch include Machine Design, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our classrooms and labs. There are many complex machines and equipment for better understanding. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a vast library. Our campus also has many grounds for games like football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful towards students and are well qualified. The course is good for developing skills. The exams are easy, but I am a little dissatisfied with the marks given by some teachers. However, it is not very bad. The pass percentage is 30%. The course is useful because students get to experience many practical things in the college itself as part of their basic training.
Other: I chose this course because I have had a very strong interest in automobiles and how they function since childhood. The course can be more effective if it shifts a little more towards practical learning rather than writing everything on sheets. Tech fests are also conducted from time to time.

Dissatisfied with placement, infrastructure, and some faculty members.
Placements: Only 10% of students get placed from the college. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Core companies like BEL and L&T visit the college. Students don't get paid internships and have to find internships on their own. No specific roles are offered. Some teachers give us references to companies, and that helps us.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided on some floors but not on all floors. Labs are decent, and classrooms have digital boards for teaching. The library is good, but it becomes difficult to find a particular book. The hostel provides decent rooms as per the charges, but the mess food is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. However, the course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready to a great extent. Students have to do internships to gain industry experience. The semester exams are not that hard. If the exam is for 150 marks, we have to score 60 marks just to pass.

    Good faculty and average placements.
Placements: Around 15 students got placed out of 60. All of them got package of 4 LPA. Realistic Solutions is the top recruiter. Students struggled for an internship but Realistic Solutions is the one that provided some students with internship opportunities. Top roles include graduate engineering trainee students getting higher roles off-campus and through competitive examination which is also common in our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every hostel. Food is average sometimes good and sometimes bad. The library is available from 9:00 AM to 4'00 PM and is closed on Sunday. Classrooms are maintained and are usually clean. Sometimes there is a water problem because our college pumps water from the nearby city during difficult weather.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are very qualified and have good teaching skills. The curriculum is somewhat irrelevant keeping in mind the latest trends in Computer Science. Semester exams are not very difficult if you pay attention in class. 80 to 90 percent of students pass the class.
Other: The best thing about this college is the nature and weather you always feel close to nature and rounded which helps with your focus. The sports fest has been organised nicely since this year and the cultural fest is also good and refreshing.

Affordable government college, but you are accountable for placements & more good opportunities.
Placements: There are no great placement opportunities specifically in the AML branch, other core branches do have some chance. They do not give AIML specific roles as this branch is new in this college. Students get roles like software engineers. Only approx 10% get placed. The highest package goes up to 6 LPA and lower to 3 LPA, but this branch is new, so most of the companies do not prefer AIML students when I am talking about campus placements, otherwise, off-campus placements depend on the student. Top recruiting companies include Bell, Bhej, and other startups. Students do internships in DRDO, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good if we consider chill conditions. We have a good classroom, library, labs and hostels. As a government college, it fulfils necessities, but there is an issue of water shortage, and food is also eatable. Wi-Fi is available in some departments and only in some spots in the hostel. Sports infrastructure is not good, let it be ground, badminton court, or anything, everything is below average, and no one maintains it.
Faculty: If I talk about the AIML branch, there is a shortage of good teachers who have core knowledge of this branch, otherwise, in other branches, there are good, qualified teachers. They are dedicated to their job. In reality, this course does not make us job-ready, and I guess most engineering colleges focus on academics only. The semester exam level is moderate to difficult, depending on the faculty. The pass percentage is almost 95%.
Other: I chose this course because of the new emerging trend in the world, i.e., AIML. The best thing about this course is that you are learning new things other than core. I think the course needed to be more practically oriented. There are no such big events only once a year, that too cultural. There is a scholarship opportunity for 10% of strength in a branch scoring high. Extracurricular activities keep happening on a smaller level.

The college is good but sometimes we face water crises.
Placements: The percentage of students who placed is likely to be 80 percent. The highest is 10 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package offered is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Almost 90 percent of students got internships. Some are interested in research so they apply for IIT's, DRDO, and those who are interested in industry will go to BHEL, THDC, Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Each department has Wi-Fi and a library. The classroom infrastructure is good each class has a smart board. Labs are well organised and have sufficient equipment. The college has its canteen. The medical facilities, sports, and games are available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Whatever they explain is understandable if not they will explain it again. The course curriculum is relevant. Classroom knowledge and labs help us understand well and help us in the industrial field. It's not difficult if one has gone through all the topics that the teachers have explained. The pass percentage is good it is 80 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in machines and designing. I wish that side by side they taught us the software that is beneficial for our work field. Each semester the college will conduct 1-2 events, and fests are also organised. The campus crowd is very good. The connectivity is good as our college is in a good locality. The campus surroundings are clean and peaceful and scholarships have been provided.

    Satisfied with the admission.
Placements: 40-45 percent of students got placed in the passed-out batch of my course this year. Mostly, they are off-campus packages. PSUs and GATE qualifiers are more. Companies like BHEL and ONGC do come. Roles that are offered in the course are Graduate Engineer Trainee, Design Engineer, Production Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, and Maintenance Engineer.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are well-maintained in the department. Proper Wi-Fi facility is provided. Classrooms are well designed with good smart screens. Labs are well-equipped but do need proper maintenance from time to time. The lab equipment doesn't run when needed because of a lack of maintenance. Other than that, a departmental library is also provided.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and qualified. The teaching is up to the mark. It does take time in the 1st year of college to get familiar but as the years increase, faculty seem to be familiar with the students and also the interest becomes more in the core subjects. To be industry-ready, one shouldn't just study the theoretical and numerical but also have to attend the labs and perform all the practical neatly then only one can become industry ready. The semester exams are never difficult, you just need a better understanding of what to study.
Other: I chose this course because I was always interested in this field. Being a girl makes me stand out and get knowledge that other girls don't and it is both thrilling and exciting at the same time. Events keep taking place from time to time in the college, sports tournaments keep taking place, and many other competitions are being held from time to time.

So, although you belong to SC category and your cutoff will definitely be low, but your rank is very less. The difference i
