Good scope for PG, great infrastructure, fests and extracurricular activities are given priority.
Placements: All the students got seats in government colleges for PG in the previous batch. Every student gets around 80,000 in residence. Major branches taken by students are medicine, surgery, dermatology, and paediatrics. All the branches are good and provide an outstanding package and knowledge for future.
Infrastructure: In my college, there is basketball court, amphitheatre, 3 boys hostels, and 1 girls hostel. We have 5 canteens, boys common room, ladies common room, badminton court, garden, spots to hang out, 3 libraries, and reading rooms. We also have two gyms on campus. Facilities provided in hostels are gym, reading rooms, libraries, etc. Quality of food in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite well-educated and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is outstanding. They make the concepts crystal clear. Course curriculum is relevant and sticks to the real-based case scenario. It's interesting to study various new cases and study them during clinical postings. The level of semester exams is quite tough. It aids in the preparation for university exams.
Other: I chose this course because it's interesting and a bit challenging. There is a lot to learn. I wish the practical knowledge part were encouraged more than the theory. Events are pretty good here. Dance, music, and concerts happen here. Extracurricular activities like our sports fest Kurukshetra happen. It unleashes the sports spirit in us.

GMC offers a really good college life.
Placements: As it is a field of Medicine, self employment is a lot more compared to placements. Moreover, the students pursue PG post MBBS, so the number of students getting selected after giving NEET PG varies every year. They get a salary of almost 90000-100000 per month. Those who choose to do jobs based on MBBS, get around 70-80k per month and if you are working in the rural area, you’ll be paid around 90k. Placements are almost 100% in this college.
Infrastructure: Grant Medical College has one of the greatest infrastructure which can be compared to that of AIIMS hospital. It has the biggest college campus in Maharashtra. Hostels are provided for MBBS students with minimal charges. There is a canteen available serving average food. You can also get a private tiffin service if your wish and those are offered at pretty decent prices.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and acquainted with their subjects. They also guide you individually providing you mental support. Passing the exams is not much difficult but it is also not too easy either. You need to regularly study to be at ease. Peers at GMC are helpful at every step.
Other: Campus crowd is very good. People from different parts of the nation join this college. So you get acquainted with people from different regions which is helpful. Government provides scholarships to those in need.

Honest review - Grant Government Medical College.
Placements: Placing is not a thing of MBBS but as an MBBS student, you should get admission to PG. The stipend as an intern is Rs18,000 per month. In PG you get a stipend of around Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000 per month. The internship rate is 100% if you pass all 4 proofs of MBBS. Roles of an MBBS doctor in an internship vary according to the department of work like managing accident cases, blood sample collections, report analysis, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very devastated. It is now a work in progress. We have 5 hostels at JJ Hospital campus. Old boys hostel for 1st year students of MBBS (1st proof), apna boys hostel, and RM Bhatt boys hostel. Hostels are for 2nd proof onwards. We have a ladies hostel also. There is 300 doctors' hostel for PG students. Regarding our boy's hostel, we have poor facilities even basic things like bathrooms and toilets are less. But work is getting completed to next year. Mess food is not that good.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified as MBBS and MD in their respective departments. Not only teachers but also PG students have an important role in our curriculum to teach and guide us in class and postings. We have a quality education here in our college. Passing percentage vary in every semester. We have 4 semesters. Passing percentage is the lowest in the 4th semester as compared to other semesters because of the 11 clinical subjects you have to face in your 4th semester.
Other: Being an MBBS doctor was my dream so I chose this field. Best thing about this course is that you get a variety of cases every day. Your work has no boundaries. Things to be improved are workload study loads stress management in the course as depth of the course is huge. Events in GGMC relieved all stress. We have events like Kurukshetra Sangharsh Antarang as annual events. Other government events like Independence Day, Republic Day, Shivjayanti, and Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti are also celebrated with good budget.

Review of MBBS from The Grant Medical College, Mumbai.
Placements: At Grant Medical College, 100% of the students get placements in the MBBS programme. The average package offered at the college was 10–15 LPA. The top recruiters in the college were various private and government hospitals. At our college, 100% of the students get internships each semester.
Infrastructure: This college has a well-maintained and developed infrastructure for the MBBS course. The college had pretty good facilities. Wi-Fi, labs, library, medical, sports and all the required facilities for the MBBS were available on campus for the students. A hostel facility was also available for college students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was highly experienced and qualified for our course. They were offering top-quality education to the students. Teachers were giving both practical and theoretical knowledge to the students. The course curriculum was relevant and also made the students industry-ready. Exams at the college were hard to pass.

I would recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Some of the GMC students got placed in Fortis Hospital and other well-known hospitals. Faculty members are very good and they teach you how to be a good doctor rather than considering MBBS as a business. Many students got placed in reputed hospitals.
Infrastructure: First-year classrooms are really very old and so they need reconstruction. Otherwise, the vibe of the hall is really very good. If you have seen Munna Bhai MBBS movie, the anatomy hall seen in that movie was shot there in our college. The hall is really big and it can accommodate 500 students easily at a time.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful to us. They teach us how to be good doctors, and how to develop good clinical skills rather than just teaching a few things. They have allotted mentors for our personal issues related to studies or any other issues so that they can help us in the best possible way.
Other: Our college conducts fests every year like Antarang, Astitva, and Kurukshetra. Events are also conducted in this college. We celebrate every festival like Ganpati, Janmashtami, and Dandiya nights.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members. But the infrastructure in hostels is not that good.
Placements: 100% of students get placed and get good packages starting from 10 LPA. Students get recruited to different hospitals due to high demand. Our students get internships from the government in our own hospital with good stipend. Students also get opportunities to do PG and earn good money.
Infrastructure: We have our own hostel at very cheap fee. Hostel has its own gym. Hostel has its own canteen. Hostel also has its own reading room for study. But library needs to get renovated. The AC and fans in the reading room are not working properly. Students get irritated in the summer. But the campus has its own different reading room which is already renovated and has good infrastructure. Our campus has 5 canteens.
Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified and very well knowledgeable. They are very helpful. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students perfect doctors. The exams are also tough. Pass percentage is 50%.
