    Great infrastructure and decent placements.
Placements: 100% of students undergo compulsory internships. There is no formal highest or average package. The student can join a government or private hospital. There are 100% internships within the college hospital, as it is a medical course regulated by the government.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent infrastructure with AC rooms, functional labs and good Wi-Fi access in academic blocks. Hostel rooms are average but livable with regular water and electrical supply. The food in the mess is nutritional, but not very tasty. The canteen has limited options.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and well-qualified. The curriculum covers both theoretical and practical aspects, making students industry-ready for internships. The pass percentage is generally around 85-90%, and semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Dialysis Techniques, as I have always wanted to serve people. The best part of the course is the mix of theoretical knowledge and clinical exposure. There should be more use of modern teaching methods like simulations and better teacher-student interaction. The college hosts annual fests and medical conferences, and the crowd is mostly from Punjab and nearby states.

I am dissatisfied because of very fewer placements.
Placements: No one got placed, and most of the students have changed their field. We get various options to pursue as we have studied a number of subjects in the course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 5,000 per month. Mostly private hospitals recruit students from here. There are no internships. Roles offered to the students are as ICU technician operates machines in ICU, operate x-ray machine and provide care and medication to patients.
Infrastructure: Our college building is well-ventilated with air-conditioned lecture theatre. Classrooms are spacious, and proper equipment is available in labs where proper experimentations can be conducted. Wi-Fi facility is not available. There is a well-build library. The hostel was not provided to us, and even I was a local resident.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are helpful and experienced. But most of the lectures are given by M.Sc students with very less experience and knowledge. So teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready as most of the study is practice and conducted in the hospital.
Other: I have chosen this course as it is one of the new courses with high scope in future. The best thing about this course is it is perfect for students who want to go abroad. Government jobs and placement needs to be improved. Various events and fests are held in our college.

Review of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital.
Placements: About 25% of the students from our course got placed. Our seniors had a record of 100% placements. Top recruiting companies like Apollo Max, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college does not provide an internship. Top roles, like managing a dialysis patient and perform dialysis, are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are totally equipped. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and spacious. The best part of college is the library. Almost all the books of foreign as well as Indian authors are available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers who teach us are usually doctors who are serving people in the hospital. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is up to the mark. The course curriculum is quite vague, but it makes us industry-ready.

    Good staff and high-tech machines.
Placements: All the batch placements were done within a month after exams. Everyone had secured their jobs. Some in diagnostic centers and some in hospitals as MRI technicians, CT technicians, X-ray staff, special investigation staff, and dental X-ray staff in cities like Chandigarh and Bathinda.
Infrastructure: The best technical machines for practical experience, and there was good patient interaction in day-to-day life. The college had a good library for studying and well-maintained machine chambers to take care of the machines. This gave students better exposure so that they could work well in the future.
Faculty: The best staff shared their knowledge with students, and faculty members also helped students with the desired help they needed. The staff always taught students not to panic in emergency situations and how to deal with such situations in day-to-day life.

It is a good college which mainly focusses on your practical knowledge.
Placements: Only a few students are placed in the college hospital and further got placed in government and private hospitals. Placements are not available on campus so you must find a job for yourself. If you are a college topper, you get a chance to do the job at the college hospital on a contract basis.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have air-conditioned labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and practical and clinical labs. B.Sc. MLT students go to the clinical lab during practical hours. They foucs on practical knowledge. For medical facilities, there is a college hospital and for sports, you can play but there is no cultural or sports event organised.
Faculty: Annual exams are difficult and checked by doctors who are so hard marking. The teachers in our college are so good. There is no university topper in MLT because of hard marking. The college topper got a maximum of 66%. So work so hard to get average marks. In practical, you give 4 vivas by the first subject teacher, the second HOD, and the third by an external examiner.
Other: The campus is not much crowded.

The college is the best in everything except placements.
Placements: No one got placed from our college. The college provided a good knowledge of this field but lacked in providing proper job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The library was well maintained with lots of books, newspapers and magazines. It was properly air-conditioned and had a good environment. The labs are full of equipments. Medical facilites are good. The best part is the sports meet where students enjoy to the fullest.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and the best. They were always ready to help students and were very hard working. They were quite dedicated and provided useful information to students. Teaching quality just amazing.
Other: Events are good and students enjoy a lot. Various celebrities and singers were invited to the fests. The campus surrounding was good. Extracurricular activities were there and scholarships were also provided.
