Satisfied with my college and the services it provides.
Placements: Am currently a student in Bachelor in microbiology from Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and technology and my college has a good environment with a healthy teaching experience and great campus advisors regarding job interviews. Internship call includes Nestle and many more companies and about 99% of students are placed from my college with teachers taking a great responsibility in it. As a microbiologist, top roles offered for me is quality assurance and quality control.
Infrastructure: My college has a lush green campus with the motive of saving energy and reducing environmental hazards. Our hostel facilities are recently built and are under construction while few rented houses are available. The food available in college hostel is healthy.
The classes and labs are equipped with modern day instruments and chemicals are available.
Faculty: The teachers available here are trained to teach their respective subjects and take care of each and every student personally and assessments are conducted on a regular basis to judge the academic growth of every student. Moreover the training internships make the students industry ready at a very early stage in their career. The college have a strict monitoring over their semester exams which only helps and benefits the students.
Other: I have chosen B.Sc. in microbiology because all my life I had a keen interest in and it was a strong subject which I was well versed at. As a microbiologist till now I personally don't feel about any change in the curriculum.
Moreover our college hosts Iris, its annual cultural fest which attracts many people and is well known in the event circuit too. Many games and sports are there too which helps every student to prosper in their own way.

It is an amazing and satisfactory experience with great faculty members and facilities.
Placements: In today's world, students find it difficult to find a job, but GNIPST tries its best by providing great internship opportunities. Many high ranking companies visit during on-campus internship interviews. So, students have various choices to choose a job they would prefer to work with.
Infrastructure: GNIPST has a well-built and huge campus surrounded by an area of two to three playgrounds for badminton and basketball and other activities. There is separate accommodation for male and female hostellers. There are well-equipped labs, spacious and airy classrooms and a library stocked with an astonishing amount of books for reference and study purpose that helps students with their curriculum. There is a well-maintained and hygienic cafeteria. For students who find it difficult to commute on a daily basis, GNPST has excellent hostel facilities on the campus separately for both girls and boys. It is providing good airy room accommodation for healthy meals and the college protection that comes with it.
Faculty: In GNIPST, the way we are taught all the subject matters become very easy to understand. Similarly, practical classes are taken in such a way that students are made involved completely and enthusiastically. Lab classes are not only fun but also very informative. Even during these challenging times of this ongoing pandemic, this institute took all the necessary steps to ensure students don't lag behind and complete their ongoing semester in a steady and easier way through online classes. I am more than satisfied with it. Our college has some exceptionally talented faculty members with profound knowledge on the subject matter, which in turn instils in students a sense of responsibility, profound knowledge and to strive for betterment. They are always more than ready to help students with their doubts and problems.
Other: Apart from studies, various events are organised by students, both extracurricular and within the curriculum, like seminars, exhibitions, annual fest and sports events. These activities keep students engaged and give them fresh air from their daily study routines. Campus life has a very amiable and calm environment. Seniors and all the members of the institute are very cooperative. The entire campus follows an anti-ragging rule maintained by the anti-ragging squad, which is very safe and student-friendly.

GNIPST is an anti-ragging, well-maintained, well-equipped and well-facilitated college.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Proper pre-placement sessions are very helpful. In various well-known pharmaceutical and other companies, students get placed in various sectors like sales, quality management, production, etc. Every student gets the facility to attend the placement session, and capable students can crack the interview.
Infrastructure: It is an anti-ragging college. There are well-maintained and well-equipped labs in our college. The hostel of our college is very clean, with a Wi-Fi facility and a good meal associated. Many other facilities are also available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful, and students can get effective guidance from them. Besides, students are free to discuss their study-related doubts and project works with teachers and their mentors. The flip class is also followed by them.
Other: There is a wide range of courses in our college. Students can choose the course according to their interest and skills. Moreover, many events, cultural programs and fests are held in our college. Students can get help from teachers for these things.

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology.
Placements: The placement cell of our institute is very helpful, and maximum students got placements from our institute. The placement cell is also very cooperative, and professors also help us. Well-reputed companies come and recruit students.
Infrastructure: On our campus, there are separate hostels for girls and boys. They have restricted monitoring over students, and security guards protect the campus 24x7. GNIPST is a renowned college with an attractive campus, well-equipped laboratories, well-furnished classrooms and experienced faculty members. Overall, the entire institute provides a very peaceful and good educational environment.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced. Teachers are very cooperative with us and help us in everyday work.
Other: Social life is very harmonious, and various class activities are conducted in which we can actively participate and gain knowledge beyond the syllabus. It is a ragging-free campus, and I am an active member of the anti-ragging committee. The campus is very beautiful and lush green, and it consists of two to three playgrounds, basketball, badminton court and many others.

Placements: Our GNIPST college has a good placement rate, and it makes us job-ready as well. We got to explore this through our esteemed faculty members. The placement rate is understandably high, and our college has all the required facilities for holistic development.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure, along with a very pleasing atmosphere. Cleanliness across the campus is a major thing taken care of by our college. All the wings or blocks are well constructed in a huge space with many classrooms in them. All the essential amenities like a lush green and huge playground, well-equipped labs with proper equipment and instruments, a library with an additional facility of E-library and a technologically advanced computer lab with a sufficient number of computers are available here.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well-maintained here, and the teachers are highly experienced in their respective fields. They have been very supportive. Good quality education is provided here, and along with that, a lot of co-curricular activities are conducted throughout the year. All types of information regarding our career are also being provided. Online classes, which are conducted regularly during this lockdown period, helped us a lot in gaining knowledge and keeping pace with our studies. Slot tests conducted were very helpful to us.
Other: I am a final year student of the microbiology department. The campus is considerably huge and understandably has all the required facilities for holistic development.

GNIPST is a very beautiful college with a well-equipped campus.
Placements: Overall, placements are good with proper pre-placement sessions. There are various sectors in which students got placed like production, sales, etc. Still, recruitment completely depends upon the skills and hard work done by students. All students can get an opportunity to attend the interview.
Infrastructure: It is a ragging-free campus, and you can check hostel facilities before getting admission. Weekly, students are provided twice non-vegetarian meals. The most important thing to evaluate before admission is that the hostel is clean and Wi-Fi-equipped. The institution maintains a zero-tolerance policy.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. Their conductance is very good, and every student is getting effective guidance from them. Every student has a specific mentor who helps them a lot in their project works. Students can share their doubts with mentors.
Other: Overall, the college is very good.

The college has good faculty members, but placements are not good.
Placements: Since our batch is in the 2nd year and the college conducts campus interviews only for the final year students, I can only say about the placements of senior batches. Last year, i.e., in 2018, a small increase was seen in the number of placements concerning the previous years. Many major companies like Cipla, Ranbaxy, Infosys, etc., visited the campus to offer jobs to students. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month, the highest salary offered was Rs. 26,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 16,000 per month. Majority of the roles offered were an assistant microbiologist or lab technicians. Paid internships were offered to the students, and it's just that the students need to pay for doing internships. There was no stipend offered. There is a placement cell which serves various purposes throughout the year.
Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained labs with almost all kinds of apparatus and lab assistants to coordinate the functioning of labs. Classrooms are well-lit and spacious with Wi-Fi accessibility. There is a common room with some types of indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis etc. There is a library which has the course-related books, but most of the time, it runs out of the required books which creates inconvenience to students. The college has a 5-storeyed building with elevator facility. It has 3 grounds which conduct all the cricket, football and volleyball matches. There is one basketball court along with the ground. A badminton court is present inside the building, and another is in front of the girls' hostel. The college has a girls' hostel
next to the academic building. Many students stay as paying guests or in messes located in the vicinity of the college.
Faculty: The college has the best teaching staff members who are well qualified. They do give importance to every student. They even arrange off-period teaching sessions where students can clear their doubts or learn something new if they missed something in the actual class. All the chapters are taught well in the class at first. If time permits, teachers also conduct revision classes before the exams. The teacher to student ratio is 1:65. Students are provided with good industry exposure in their final year of the course. The course curriculum is really helpful for students, and it has subjects related to jobs.
Other: The college organises a moderate number of events. An inter-college cricket match, football match, volleyball match, badminton match, etc., are conducted. Various workshops are conducted so that the students get to learn something new. An annual fest is conducted for 2 days where students from a lot of colleges participate in various competitions, and it is generally a lot of fun. Since there are 4 colleges on the same campus, i.e. Gurunanak Pharmaceutical, Gurunanak Hotel Management, Gurunanak Technology and Gurunanak Dental, the campus is pretty crowded. The whole campus has one canteen which is inside the hotel management building which offers a variety of food at very reasonable prices. Hostels have their separate canteens for the hostel students.

There are no placement opportunities, and the faculty are poor.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities. Only one or two companies visited the campus for B.Sc MR course. The college doesn't even provide any internship opportunities. It's better not to join this college rather than investing a great amount as fees. Moreover, they conduct those placement drives along with the students of B.Pharmacy course. So, placement chances are quite high for pharmacy students than B.Sc students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good, but the labs are not up to the mark. Many machines and equipment don't even work properly. Classrooms are good, but there is no projector facility. There are no smart classroom aids. The campus is huge, and there are 2 large lush green football and cricket fields.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very poor. Only a handful of good faculty members are available, and the rest keep on changing. Many faculty members are hired on a contract basis. All the good faculty members have left the college recently. The course curriculum is designed according to MAKAUT, so it is good.
Other: All the cultural programs are organised in our college. It's a huge campus, and it accommodates 3 colleges. So, the ambience is good.
