Absolutely satisfied with my faculty members, really good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Approximately 80-95% of students are placed in this course with an average package of 5-6.5 LPA, the highest package of 8 LPA, and the lowest 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Nestlé, Amul, Mother Dairy, and ITC Foods. About 60-80% of students got internship opportunities in Nestlé, Amul, Mother Dairy, ITC Foods, and Sun Pharma. Top roles offered in the course are research assistants, junior assistants, molecular biologists, and genetic engineers.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are overall good. There is Wi-Fi available in labs, classrooms, and the library. There is well-equipped furniture in classrooms and the library, as well as instruments in labs. As I travel, I can't provide information about the hostel, but the food available in the food court and canteen is very good, maintaining quality and hygiene. The pricing is also justifiable. There is also a medical facility in our university.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. I often felt that there was no need to memorise the content. Attending the classes properly is enough to secure good marks. Obviously, the course is relevant as biotechnology is a rising industry, and the university itself prepares the students for research work or industrial-level work. The semesters are moderate, with a passing percentage of 95%. The passing percentage is 40%, which is relevant.

Other: I chose this course because I liked this subject. This course provides many paths, such as genetic engineering and bioinformatics, which are really demanding. I think all departments don't provide freshers, so I really hope they can give some. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc., are all present, overall making the campus refreshing and energetic.

I am really satisfied because of good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Most of the students get interested in this course as it offers an interesting field related to Biology and technology. The highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA based on experience. Many of them get internships in reputed companies like Tesla, TCS, IT companies.

Infrastructure: The lab in this course is highly equipped and has well infrastructure. It has various instruments and available resources. The lab assistants are also supportive and help a lot. The hostel facility is also good, including food, and all facilities are available.

Faculty: The faculty members are very much helpful and supportive to the students. They are well qualified and explain each and every topic very nicely. They also take class tests. The semester exams are moderately tough but solvable. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I have chosen this course as I was interested in the Biology field and wanted to take the subject for research purposes. The best thing about the course is the hands-on experiments performed in labs. I think the tie-ups with reputed companies should be improved more and better internship opportunities.

It is not bad, but needs better facilities and opportunities.

Placements: I can honestly tell that I don't know about the previous batch and what they are doing right now, and I don't know about the package either. There are so many companies like TCS. We can also apply to IITs if we are eligible. Mostly 40 to 60 percent got placed.

Infrastructure: When we talk about the infrastructure of our course, Wi-Fi is available, but sometimes it slows down and runs very slowly. Labs are also there, which are clean, but sometimes in one lab, many sections come for their lab work, which creates a crowd.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and have good knowledge of their subjects. One more thing is that lab teachers only treat the toppers well. They don’t care about the average students, and they don’t even know if average students come or not.

It has good infrastructure and average placements.

Placements: I am pursuing the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology. I am from the 2025-2029 batch. We can make a career in biotechnology or at a health center. Around 60 to 70% of students get placed. The package offered ranges from 2-6 LPA. Companies like Cipla and Biocon recruit students. More than 60% of students get internships. Our college also includes internships from the 2nd year onwards.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Sister Nivedita University is well-maintained with clean classrooms, labs, library, Wi-Fi, and newly installed ACs. It provides decent facilities, average food, and medical support for both boys and girls. It also has a cricket and football team. It is academically strict. There are food trucks. There is a college canteen with comfort food like vegetarian thali and non-vegetarian thali.

Faculty: Teachers are very nice. Faculty members are really helpful. They even correct us. Most importantly, they are very friendly. Semester exams are difficult, and we get a very high-level question paper. In my class, everyone passed their exam.

Other: I chose Sister Nivedita University for Biotechnology because of hands-on exposure + lab techniques + internship. It also provides a lot of seminars, internships, and hands-on experience in labs. There are even sports for both girls and boys.

SNU gives students opportunities to build careers with minimal cost and great facilities.

Placements: After the completion of the programme, around 65-70 percent of students got placed in different companies. The highest package is 8 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Nestled, Amul, Mother Dairy, ITC Foods, etc. No internship programs have been offered for our course up till now. Top roles offered in our course are research assistant, junior scientist, molecular biologist, and genetic engineer.

Infrastructure: All the required apparatus, reagents, incubators, freezer, and all other lab necessities are readily available in the air-conditioned labs. We have 5 labs in our department, including animal and plant biotechnology labs, which are sufficiently equipped for undergrad students. Classrooms are comfortable, spacious, and classes are easier to follow with the help of projectors and whiteboards.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with sharp teaching techniques, making the subjects easier to follow. Their approachable personalities make it easier for students to clear doubts and concepts. The course curriculum equips us with a lot of Biotechnology techniques, theory makes the foundation stronger, and overall it helps build a strong foundation in the subject.

Other: I have always been interested in recombinant DNA techniques, animal biotechnology, etc. So after I completed my higher secondary, I immediately knew I had to enroll in this course. The management can be better, and it is one of the first things that needs improvement.
