My personal experience in JIS University.

Placements: I've been offered placements via emails. They notify me and tell the selected students to fill out the job application and go for an interview. Only 3 students from my class out of 22 were selected for placement, but I'm studying microbiology. The companies were offering jobs in my field, such as Maruti Suzuki sales executive role or BPO call center role, which are completely opposite of my selected course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and environment are great, but Wi-Fi is really slow, and they restrict it from some websites. I didn't go to a hostel and am currently going to college from my home, so I don't have any hostel experience. However, as far as my friends who live in a college hostel told me, the mess food was not good. I went to the canteen and ate some food, to be honest, that wasn’t good either. I didn't participate in sports or games, but there are many events like football tournaments.

Faculty: Semester exams are easy as long as you prepare well and do not do last-minute preparation, but yes, teachers provide important notes for exams, so it shouldn't be worrisome. For teachers, I would say some are good, while some are really dismissive and arrogant. I would not say that students could be industry-ready after completing this course.

Other: I'd chosen this course because I like Biology and liked to explore it further, especially in microbiology, as I'm curious about little creatures that we can't see with our eyes, how they actually work. Well, if I have to say about improvement, the college has to do is that they should provide some internship related to the course, which is included in the college fees and without any extra charges. There are many events like famous celebrities like Kartik Aryan came for his film promotions. I didn't go, but my friends did.

All the facilities are available.

Placements: Now we have no placement through our course is just to be end. In our course there are 19 students but no placement is given to us. So we are requesting to give su h opportunity to us. Hopefully last of this course we got placement offers so it is more helpful to us.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are nice. Labs equipments are good. All faculty members are good Wi-Fi facility is also good. Sports and games competition are happens. Classrooms are clean and many other tournaments are organized by our college. The canteen is all good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are good. Workshops are organized by college It makes us industry ready. The semester exams are very gopd and also mid sem exams are very helpful for us because it makes us ready for the main examination.

The teaching quality is good in our college but maintenance is not good.

Placements: In our college, placement quality has been low since the lockdown. Many students were placed the year before in breweries and pathogenic labs as industrial or medical microbiologists. Few jobs are available now.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is too slow to use. Labs don't have all the needy things always. Classes are occasionally canceled in our department due to a lack of classrooms. Our department library has a few books, which is insufficient for everyone. The environment of the canteen is not good.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Some courses are difficult because they are irrelevant to the curriculum. Most teachers are friendly. Some teachers indeed make students ready for industry and higher studies. Exams are difficult.

There is a nice infrastructure. Placements are good, and teachers are always available to help.

Placements: Approximately every student gets a placement from here, and the basic average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many companies visit here for a placement programme, and there is a very active placement cell. Many renowned companies visit here like pharma giants including Cipla, Alembic, sales companies, hospitals, etc. Moreover, giant companies like Chegg and Nestle also visit here.

Infrastructure: Labs are very good here, and also we can able to get hands-on experience, how to use the equipment with all necessary supplies for study, projects, etc. Hostels are quite good, and the quality of food served is nice and available at a very low rate. You have access to the nice library, which is a good place to study after classes.

Faculty: Teachers here always help us in every matter. They conduct classes with care and give you the opportunity to communicate with them in every class. So, the interaction in class is also good. They conduct a class test to prepare you for other exams. They help to boost your knowledge, and we can share with them everything and any problem. They help us to understand that part in the class or in their free time. Semester exams contain OBE type questions, which are conceptual, and they build your critical thinking. The passing percentage is 40% of marks.

Other: The fee and everything are operated through an online portal. There are some categories to get scholarships. Every year cultural fest and other events are organised, and industrial tours are also organised.

The best institute for microbiology studies.

Placements: From this course, 80–90% of students got placed in popular and big companies. The highest package was 23 LPA, the lowest package was 4 LPA, and the average package was from 7 LPA–10 LPA. Companies like Cipla and MacLeods recruited students. About 60–70% of students got internships. Junior Research Head and Food QC Officer.

Infrastructure: There were high-tech classrooms and labs with every specification and availability. We can access any book from around the world in our library, which also includes a digital library. Food and hostels were good and clean, i.e., hygienic. Food is always available in the canteen and mess. Medical facilities were always there. I don’t know about sports or games.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and highly qualified. They know every detail about the topic. They also help students personally, solve our personal problems, and always support us. This course fully prepares students for the industry. The exams were not difficult, but the question papers were set to test you thoroughly. The pass percentage was 80-90%.

Other: I chose this course because it was the best institute for it. Everything was there, and there was no need for improvement. They hosted many events, and the campus was filled with joy and amusement. They provided scholarships, and there were many sports and extracurricular activities that our college conducted.
