Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2028

Review of Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
Placements: There is an 80 percent placement rate in college. It has a placement cell and others as well. The highest package offered is 25 LPA, and the average package offered is 10 LPA. EY and consulting companies recruit students. Many students got internships. Top roles offered include consulting, marketing, and those related to commerce. Many opportunities are provided here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in our college. New gates are almost built, and labs are functioning. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The library has a wide variety of books, but the duration of issuing the book can be improved. They are issued for a very short duration.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They help us a lot, and they are experienced. They push their limits to teach us. They take extra efforts and extra classes. The syllabus is completed, and there is an ample amount of time left for self-study and revision.

Hansraj College insights and review.
Placements: Placements are top notch upto what I know, like the average package is only 8 to 9 LPA, and the highest one was 23 LPA. Top companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Google, etc., come to our college. You also start getting an internship from 2nd year. You can go for roles like financial advisory, analyst, etc. Besides this, you should join good societies which help you build skills and make you industry-ready.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is amazing. We have a sports ground, gym, badminton court, separate girls' restroom, a library which is my personal favourite, one canteen and three cafes also. Classrooms are big and fully air-conditioned, along with multiple labs. We also have an open garden-like sitting area, which is the chilling spot of students, especially in winter.
Faculty: Definitely, the teachers are well educated, highly knowledgeable and experienced. You can reach out to them with your queries, and they will definitely try to solve them. The course curriculum will give you only theoretical knowledge, you have to work on your personality to become the best fit for the industry.

Crowd is fun but the campus is small.
Placements: Placements are nice. It doesn’t hand you a job but rather gives a stage where you show your skills and talent to get a job. Not everyone gets placed, but about 60–70 percent of students get placed. The average package is 7–9 LPA. Good companies come to recruit. Skills matter a lot and what you learn in your college life apart from academics.
Infrastructure: The campus is okay in my opinion. It’s beautiful but not really big, and some classrooms are really small. AC is present in every classroom but doesn’t work smoothly. Canteen food is good, and LP area is nice for relaxing with friends. Hansraj also has a badminton court and a big playground where you can play anything you want, but it’s not always open for students.
Faculty: Some teachers teach nicely, some don’t. We have tutorials for doubt solving, but there is not much doubt solving in tutorials, mostly the teacher assigns us assignments. Only a few teachers are interactive. Not everyone wants to be bothered much. Exams are hard, but you can score well if you study from one month prior.
Other: Fests are very mid. We don’t get an official freshers’ event at our time. So I think if you only want to study, then Hansraj is for you, but not much fun is present here, apart from societies.

All in one for Hansraj College.
Placements: Placements are good up to what I know, like the average package is only 8 to 9 LPA, and the highest one was 23 LPA. Whereas Top companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Google, Brain, EY, etc., come to our college. You also start getting an internship from the 2nd year of your college, and you can go for roles like financial advisory, analyst, etc. Even go to any professional course as well.
Infrastructure: No doubt, the overall infrastructure is pretty good. We have a sports ground, gym, badminton court, separate girls' restroom, a library which is my personal favourite, one canteen, and three cafes besides that. Classrooms are big and fully air-conditioned, along with multiple labs. The hostel is under construction for both boys and girls.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated, highly knowledgeable, and experienced. You can reach out to them with your queries, and they will definitely try to solve them. About the semester exams, if you study 1 month before that dedicatedly, then you can easily get 9+ SGPA.

Absolutely OK, college hectic timings, good infra, need improvement in facilities like AC and Wi-Fi.
Placements: Around 15% of students get placed in my course. The highest is 30 LPA and the lowest is 7 LPA. I don't know about the companies as it is my first year, but the company names I heard from my seniors are KPMG, Deloitte, ZS Associates, etc. Around 60% of students got internships as per the knowledge from seniors, but the companies were not disclosed to me.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good in A Block, but Block C is newly constructed, so its infrastructure is really good. Even now, some construction work is going on in college. About the facilities, I would say each and every class has AC, but in some classes, the AC chills the class, while in a few, the AC barely works. Our classroom lacks power sockets there’s hardly one working power socket in each class of Block A. Currently, the boys' hostel is undergoing some renovation, so it is closed.
Faculty: The faculty are really good as of now, as per my section. They try to teach beyond classes. They are well qualified, with lots of knowledge and experience. The teaching quality is good some teachers teach exceptionally, but some teach well, as a few students disturb the flow of the class with their rubbish questions to grab the attention of the teacher.
Other: I chose this course as I am from a commerce and business background. This course had already attracted me, and the best thing about this course is the practical knowledge it has through Law and Management. The best thing would be the more student-friendly course. I would say there must be morning and evening timings to minimize the crowd in the college and to have a less hectic schedule for students. Till date, I have not even joined a single event.

    Hansraj College hype is real.
Placements: Almost 70% students get placement in Hansraj, mostly from Economics honors and B.Com honors. The highest package for 2024-25 was about 23 LPA. The average package every year is upto 7-9 LPA. I don't have an idea about the lowest package. Top companies that come for direct campus placement are Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, Brain and Company, United Airlines, etc.
Infrastructure: Every classrooms have AC. All types of labs are present in Hansraj, including computer labs, Biology labs, Chemistry labs, Physics lab, etc. We have a library, badminton court, gym, canteen, branded meal station, etc. The girls' common room is also there for relaxing, which I love the most.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, experienced and helpful. We can reach out to them anytime for our queries. They keep giving us assignments which add in our internal assessment. Assignments are not very hard to complete, and we learn a lot from them. The curriculum is relevant, and exams difficult level is easy to moderate.
Other: North campus is an amazing place for students where all the top universities are located, including Hansraj. North campus hype is real.

Do you know what Hansraj feels like?
Placements: Placements are mediocre, as per my knowledge. Around 50% students get placement, and top companies come to our college, like Deloitte, Brain and Company, KPMG, EY, etc. After doing B.Com (Hons), you can go into fields like finance, Marketing, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch with an amazing cafeteria, sports ground, badminton court, library, etc. Wi-Fi is available in the library. I don't know much about the hostel facility as I am a day scholar, so I don't live in the hostel. Nevertheless, the canteen food is good.
Faculty: Faculty is great, they are top professors with enriched information about their field. The course curriculum is relevant as per NEP, but you should gain industry skills to land a top position. Semester exams can be passed easily atleast for the first year, if you do PYQs properly, as they are from your 12th grade only.
