I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: The college organises an internship fair in the college itself every year. More than 100 companies visit for recruitment and offer various internships and placements. If we talk about the percentage of people who got an internship in B.Com (Hons) it is approximately 15% because it depends on the skill set of the candidate and the interests they carry various internships are unpaid and few are based on stipend which varies upto Rs. 15,000.
Infrastructure: There are different conditions in different classrooms. Few of them contain new benches whereas a few of them do not even have painted walls and old wooden benches which are not comfortable. The new building of the college is open just for lab purposes. I have no idea about the opening of the new building of Zakir Hussain Delhi College.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are specialized in their respective subjects. This course does not make students industry-ready. Students should have some soft skills, other skills, and knowledge to get a higher package in the future. Semester exams are not very difficult as the papers are made by the university only. The pass percentage in each exam is 40% and the majority of the students clear the exams.
Other: There are not such good events. The crowd is mostly northeastern and Muslim. No big fest is conducted. Only 1 major fest in a year. The college has various societies.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: My batch is 2022-2025 and I am pursuing the course B.Com (Hons). 60-70% of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA - 3 LPA in B.Com (Hons). Top recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, Bajaj, and Genpact. Overall, the placements are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are average. Wi-Fi is available only in the library. There are 3 labs and one extra lab inside the library. Library is also good and books are available at the library. There is no facility for the hostel. The quality of food in the canteen is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified professors. Their teaching quality is also good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at this college are average because all Delhi University exams are the same. 70-80% of students are passing every semester exam.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do this. This course is best for those students who want to pursue a career in business. I wish the practical part should improve more rather than the theory part. In this college, the events are held. Fest helps and the campus crowd is also good.

Have a great faculty and a very good environment.
Placements: I don’t think about placements by the college. You can build your potential but don’t depend on the college. Around 50% of students get placed with a good package. There is an internship fair, which helps to get a good internship.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in the college, and the infrastructure is building day by day. A new building is also open for courses and lab work. There is no hostel, students coming from different states have to manage in flats or pgs. There are no such things near the college, so you need to go to North Campus or Laxmi Nagar for that.
Faculty: Faculty and teachers are well-educated, and I think they teach according to the syllabus. Along with that, they give life lessons to make students ready for future circumstances and for the industry. The difficulty of exams is moderate, and if a student has a basic idea of the things, then one can pass easily. Faculty is good with the study.

Review of Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi.
Placements: There are a good amount of internship and placement opportunities provided by our college. There's a separate placement cell that ensures to attract placements and internships. According to last year's data, 70% of the total appearing candidates got their desired placements. In B.Com (H) total of 80 students got placed and others got internship opportunities. The top recruiters were Teach Mahindra and Concentrix. While there were other companies as well like Piramal Finance, IDFC Bank, ICIC Bank, HDFC Bank, Register Karo, Policy Bazaar, Muskurahat Foundation, and others. The roles offered by these companies included Business development, sales, finance roles, and accounting roles.
Infrastructure: Our college has two separate buildings for Science and commerce students, including an auditorium admin block and college ground. There's a new building that is yet to be inaugurated. There are proper practical labs for Physics Chemistry and Psychology. Besides that, we also have many nurseries spread all over the campus for botany students and a rock garden as well. We have a huge cafeteria which includes our college Canteen and Mother Dair both. Our college doesn't provide hostel facilities. You can find PG's nearby campus. Students are provided with drinking water, medical support, and sports facilities as well.
Faculty: I would like to say that the faculty of our college even after being an off-campus college is way much better than top south campus college. The teachers are well-qualified and very serious about the curriculum. They provide students with proper assistance and always help students with doubts in tutorial classes. B.Com (H) is a very practical subject. This course will tailor a student for corporate industries. The subjects in this course are not too difficult and you can easily score well in semester exams if you are well prepared.
Other: Our college provides a great campus area. There are chain of events and fests happening in college on a regular basis. Many sports events also take place throughout the year, you can easily participate by registering in them. You can have a good social life in Zakir. Also, the connectivity is better than many colleges of DU. The administration of the college is also commendable at their job. Students are provided with good assistance and scholarship programs for motivation.

Decent infrastructure and facilities, waiting for placements and industry exposure.
Placements: I am part of the 2023 batch, pursuing B.Com (Hons). Around 50-60% of students were placed in my course, reflecting above average placement opportunities. The highest salary package offered is around 7 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Infosys, and HDFC Bank. Approximately 60-70% of students secured internships with companies like Tata Capital and ICICI Bank. Top roles offered are accountant, internal auditor, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has average infrastructure, with computer labs that are helpful for practical learning, especially for subjects related to accounting and business tools. Classrooms are spacious and friendly, making lessons more interactive. We also have Wi-Fi on campus, which makes it easy to access online resources. The library is well-stocked with textbooks, reference materials, and digital resources. Hostel is not available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is not industry-relevant because there is very less practical exposure. Semester exams are difficult, but consistent study makes it manageable. The pass percentage is high, showing strong student support.
Other: I am part of the 2023 batch, studying B.Com (Hons) because of my interest in finance and business. The curriculum and supportive faculty members are great, though I wish for more practical exposure. Campus is lively with fests, diverse crowds, etc.

It is a good college for students who want to enjoy their college life.
Placements: Almost every student pass in our course except 2 students. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Big 4, BCG, Tata, and Aditya Birla visit the college for placements. Almost 90% of students got internships from my course in big firms. A top role offered is a manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also good. They did not open a new building till now. Wi-Fi doesn't work, and the laptops in labs are okay. The library is very big with air-conditioners. The food is awesome in the canteen, and I love it so much. I suggest students give it a try for once.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful. Every single teacher is qualified and knowledgeable. They teach with so much clarity that once we enter their class we will love it. The course curriculum is relevant, and it helps students to get ready for industry. Semester exams are not that difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do CA. Subjects are almost similar in B.Com and CA and I was from a commerce background.

The college is good but need to improve in some specific sectors.
Placements: I can't say in terms of percentage accurately how many students got placed in my course, nor about the highest or the lowest, but the average package ranges from 3-5 LPA. I can't give you the exact percentage of students who got internships, but yes, there are opportunities availed by the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities such as labs, classrooms, and the library are well-maintained, and proper hygiene is taken care of. The Wi-Fi connectivity is good. As far as the quality of food, medical facilities, sports, and games are concerned, then all the sectors aforementioned are somewhat appropriate.
Faculty: The faculty is good and helpful. They cooperate with students and get our doubts cleared whenever we seek help from them. The course curriculum is relevant as it covers all the aspects we need to learn about. The difficulty level of exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

Zakir's review by a first-year student.
Placements: In Zakir Husain Delhi College, placements are not very good. They are average. There is a placement cell. Companies visit our college but not big firms. They are just average firms. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA. But the college is overall really great.
Infrastructure: In Zakir Husain Delhi College, there is no hostel facility provided. In infrastructure, there are two buildings one is old and the second one is a new building. It is a great building. The B.Com (Hons) course is great in Zakir.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and supportive. They are very helpful, well-qualified, and intelligent. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is also okay. We have 2 semesters in every semester. We have to study 7 subjects like 3 core, 1 VAC, 1 SEC, 1 GE, and 1 AEC. Faculty members are also very nice.
Other: Our batchmates are good and well-behaved. The college is good.

Hi Ayush, None! Mathematics is a compulsory subject to get into DU for B.Com (Hons). Every college of Delhi University offers B.Com (Hons.). It's not compulsory that Mathematics should be a part of your best of four percentage, what matters is that you should have studied it in 10+2. Moreover, Math
