It is an all-women's college and is a constituent college of University of Delhi. The college offers UG admission based on the merit of Class 12. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the DU admission process 2021 was delayed this year. However, this year, admission is delayed due to rising Covid-19 cases in India. Hansraj College Scholarships
Hansraj College DU offers a couple of merit and need-based scholarships that benefit around 100+ students taking admission each year. It gives a fee concession of 50% to 100% on the basis of the annual family income, family background, girl child, etc. Other scholarships are also offered by NCERT, FAEA, Single Girl Child policy, DAV etc. The Inspire Scholarships offered by the Department of Science and Technology and the scholarships extended by CBSE are also offered to the students of Hansraj College.
Each year, the college’s Alumni Association gives a scholarship of Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 to the enabling unit’s meritorious students. Lastly, every student qualifying under the differently-abled category gets a full fee waiver.
