Hindu College is highly regarded.
Placements: Hindu College placements are among the best in North Campus. That is why, even as per NIRF rankings, we are among the top colleges in Delhi. I am not aware of the exact placement figures, as I have just joined the college. B.Com (Hons) students get placements, and my course also has decent placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: Hindu College is right next to St. Stephen's College, and we have a hostel on our campus. Our college has two canteens and a Nescafe kiosk too. The library is comparatively small compared to other colleges, as I have visited various other colleges. Sports facilities are also good. In the indoor sports room, there is a TT table, and I love playing there.
Faculty: I won't say so far, so good, as our faculty members are known to be among the best in India. A doctorate is one thing, but showing character that helps connect with students is another aspect. Our faculty members have found that connection. In just 2 months, I have happily made really good connections with them.
Other: From what I heard about the crowd at Hindu College, I find it even better. The main events of the college will be in the next semester, but so far, from orientation to traditional day, I have enjoyed both events at Hindu College.

I am dissatisfied, but if you want, you can make it really good.
Placements: In B.A. Political Science, you cannot really expect placement from a non-private college unfortunately. But you will get many internships. It's not necessary that you won't get a job, but it's a bit unlikely for Pol. sc, in my opinion/, unless you straight away go into HR or something like that.
Infrastructure: For the fee that is taken, the infrastructure is poor for disabled students and average at best for able-bodied people in our college. Our classroom has an AC, but it doesn't even work. Honestly, there are a lot of things we just are not able to utilise.
Faculty: The best part of the college is the easy exams and the good professors. You will find at least one professor you really look up to and find inspiration and competition. They'll help you grow and find your way into academia if you weren't in it already.
Other: The greatest thing is the crowd! It is amazing. You will find your people in someone, and it's so vibrant here.

Happy with exposure, facilities can be improved.
Placements: Based on what I have learned from my seniors. Approximately 55% of students get placed. The packages are 23 LPA, 3 LPA, and 9 LPA. Top recruiters include HDFC, Deloitte, BCG, etc. I don't have reliable data or even an approximation regarding internships, as I am currently in my first year. Top roles include Finance Consultant, Researcher, Policy Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, a library, and air-conditioned classrooms are available, but the quality of drinking water is extremely poor. Class schedules are poorly constructed. Selected sports can be played on a regular basis. I live in a PG, so I can't really review the hostel facilities.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are helpful, but it feels that the guest faculty is always quite young and inexperienced in dealing with students. I feel the curriculum is excellent. Though it sometimes gets hard to grasp, it can't be denied that it is quite relevant. I am yet to appear for my semester exams. However, from the internal and continuous assessments, it can be said that they are manageable. You just need to be attentive in class. Regularly giving a small amount of time to practising what was taught that day also helps.

Our college provides good curriculum & quality professors.
Placements: I would say roughly about 40% of students get placements from my respective course in Hindu College. Top recruiting companies are generally media houses, publishing firms, etc. A lot of students from my course get internships. A rough percentage would be about 60%.
Infrastructure: We have three classrooms for my course (one for each year). All of them have ACs, but only one classroom's AC actually functions. We do have Wi-Fi facilities in college, but it also depends on which company's SIM card you use, so sometimes you may face network and internet issues.
Faculty: All my professors are highly qualified and provide quality education. Their teaching attitude is helpful. The course curriculum that we have is quite relevant and is of high quality. Semester exams are aptly difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%.

Pioneer of the History faculty at the University of Delhi.
Placements: As far as actual placements are concerned. Most companies that visit Hindu College are either corporate companies or place more weight on the portfolios of students with backgrounds in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, or similar courses. The scope of placements for arts degrees, especially, is quite low. I am from History Honors, and most people who are doing any sort of internship have either got it on their own or have used the alumni network.
Infrastructure: For my course in particular, there is not much academic infrastructure in place. There is a library, but it is also mostly not in use. There is no Wi-Fi, and classrooms have only recently got ACs. The hostel facility for boys is still not available. The girls' hostel requires a plethora of updates.
Faculty: Most teachers in my department are highly qualified and have on-the-ground experience in the field. The teaching strategy is also very suitable for how college students should be taught. The curriculum provides a chance to explore multiple facets of historical analysis, including a dedicated subject on the histories of different parts of the world. Primarily, students in my class are either interested in preparing for civil services or continuing their careers in academia. The semester exams are fairly easy. They are designed to suit the growing and curious mindset of the students.

Review Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Placements are good overall. However, they depend considerably on student's skills and participation. Students can also explore internships & career opportunities through societies, networking, & their own initiatives. Overall, it really is good, but it also depends on individual efforts.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. It has well equipped classrooms, library facilities, & other academic resources. Overall, facilities are well maintained and provide a comfortable environment for students. As for hostels, there is a girls' hostel, but the boys' hostel is under construction.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable. The curriculum is interesting. This is especially true for the discipline-specific courses. Classes are engaging, and the academic environment encourages students to explore subjects beyond the same basic way of teaching by making them more engaging.
