Placements: I am studying Electronic and Communication Engineering in this college. Around 30-40% of students are placed in this college. The highest package is 21 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The top companies recruiting from our college are Hexaware, Cognizant, TCS, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, with a nice environment and many labs available. The quality of education is good. The canteens in the college are satisfactory, while the hostel food is average. This college encourages all sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are friendly toward students and very supportive. The course curriculum is relevant to the students and teachers, making students ready for the industry. The semester exams are designed according to the preparation of students; some find them easy while others feel they are hard.
Other: I chose this course because I want to grow my career in this sector and become successful.

Placements: The placement record of this college is not very good. Only 45% of students get placed, and the lowest salary package is 1.8 lacs per annum, with the highest being 4 LPA. Most students have to find their own internships. The top recurring company is Tata Consultancy Services. Most roles offered are in IT services and manufacturing companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms in this college are well-equipped with smart boards, which makes teaching and learning easy. The labs are well-equipped with the latest equipment. The hostels provide separate beds and bathroom facilities. Sports are an important part of college life, and the college provides excellent sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very experienced, with most having more than 10 to 15 years of teaching experience. They use smart boards that have everything they need to teach the lessons. The curriculum is revised every four years to keep it industry-ready. The college has a pass percentage of 45%.
Other: I chose to study Electronic and Communication Engineering because it has strong features for the upcoming years. The field of chip and embedded systems is growing fast, and I want to be part of that growth. I also like that there are events and fests every month.

Placements: In the Electronics and Communication department, most companies offer a minimum salary package of 7 LPA for skilled students. Some students seek IT fields even though they are studying in the electronics domain. Looking at the past years, the percentage of placements from the department has increased by 10%, reaching about 88%. Many multinational companies are coming to the college for placements. The highest package till now is about 15 LPA from a company named Cadence. The lowest expected package is about 4 LPA. Most core companies offer a job role of intern circuit designer.
Infrastructure: The college has 165 acres of green campus consisting of the College of Engineering, Institute of Technology, Architecture Campus, Polytechnic, MBA, and various hostels. The college has a separate first-year hostel, making the campus largely free from ragging. Various idea labs are inside the campus. Companies like IBM, Intel, Eicher, and Royal Enfield have separate facilitated labs here. All the labs have fully equipped Wi-Fi connections and are air-conditioned. There are many canteens inside the campus. The college hostel provides free Wi-Fi to students and offers hostel rooms in three different suites: economy, deluxe, and ultra deluxe. The college campus includes an ATM, canteens, and indoor and outdoor sports grounds, etc. Moreover, the college is NAAC accredited with a grade of A+, and the department is NBA accredited.
Faculty: The college is an autonomous institution, so the syllabus is designed by the faculty members of this college and approved by Anna University. The syllabus covers only the important topics a student should study, avoiding unnecessary loads. Only relevant topics are taught in the classes, allowing students to focus more on their practical knowledge. As we know, practical knowledge is crucial for engineering. The syllabus is based on real-world applications, providing students with industrial exposure while they pursue the course. Students can pass the exam with a percentage of 50%.
Other: I chose the Electronics and Communication field because of my personal interest in telecommunication technologies. The college provides the best in that domain for students. College cultural programs are one of the main attractions of the college. Many cultural and technical programs are held at the college. Every department has its own tech symposiums to provide industrial exposure. Additionally, there are many scholarship schemes available for students. There are about 6,000 students on the campus, and the transportation facility is agile.

My course or department is available labs and lots of labs related to subject but the materials and equipment are outdated that is problem, Wi-Fi is non availability, classrooms are good but some damage in it library are good books but same problem not updated.
Faculty: The teachers helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but some staffs are very rough type, the teaching quality is good to recommended
This course curriculum is relevant but is out dated is main problem. Students are unable to get jobs in core fields.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 85% of students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. TCS and Infosys are the top recruiting companies in our college. Team leader and code writer were the role offered. Around 70% of the students got internships, and a few of them got placed in Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome. Labs in our college are excellent, and all equipment is available. In the library, all the department books are available. Hostel facilities are good. Our college is good at sports.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are helpful. Teaching quality is very good. We have good lab faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

It is a fantastic college for engineers.
Placements: In our college, there are many placement opportunities. Top companies, like Wipro, Amazon, etc., visited our campus for recruitment. More than 2500 students got placed in top companies with a salary package of 8 LPA. The atmosphere was also very good on campus.
Infrastructure: Our college had a good library, and it was very useful for us. The hostel was also good and hygienic. Food served was also good and hygienic. Medical facilities were available on campus at free of cost. Labs were very useful for us. Wi-Fi connection and a digital library were also available for us. There was a projector class in every classroom, which was very helpful for us.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were friendly and very supportive. They are well qualified, and their efforts were amazing. Teaching quality was wonderful. The course curriculum was relevant, and it makes students ready for industry. Teachers treated students like their children and guided them to achieve their goals. They were helpful at any time to clear our doubts.
Other: I opted for the course because I had a passion for electronics. The college organised useful workshops and events. Scholarships should be awarded every student on campus.

Full freedom to enjoy, good environment but less chance to get job and knowledge.
Placements: In our college placement percentage has decreased rapidly last year. Only 8% of students have been placed. CTS recruited 150+ student the only reason for the decreasing placement is the lack of knowledge and skills in the students. The top recruiting company for our college is CTS Coimbatore branch. The eligibility criteria for the placement is CGPA above 7.5. As you know HICET is an autonomous college it is easy to get good marks with your hardwork.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The weather of Coimbatore is one of the main reason to select this college. If you love to explore nature then you can directly choose this college. Hostel rooms are good but the food is not worthy. Classrooms are good but not super. Labs are average in my point of view.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified and they provide and help you in your studies. The course curriculum is the same as followed by Anna university. So, it's good curriculum. The curriculum is cut down to some extent to make the students learn easily. College provides you question bank from which you will get questions in exams. It helps the slow learners.
Other: The ECE course has lots of opportunities in IT and Electronic field and the course consists of physics which I like very much. The events in our college are very good and students can enjoy freely. The college is the only college which celebrates valentine's day by inviting many celebrities to the event. Onam and Pongal are also celebrated grandly.
